A pressure sensor and a display device are described. The pressure sensor includes a plurality of pressure units. Each of the pressure units includes four resistors having substantially the same resistance value. The four resistors form a Wheatstone bridge. Two resistors of the four resistors form a first resistor group. The other two resistors of the four resistors form a second resistor group. Orthogonal projections of electrodes of the two resistors of each of the resistor groups at least partially overlap in a direction perpendicular to a plane on which the pressure units are located. Extension directions of electrode patterns of the two resistors of each of the resistor groups are different.

Pressure sensor and display device

A force sensor device, which includes a force sensing layer, is provided, in which a heat treatment layer is disposed on one side of the force sensing layer, and a thermal conductivity of the heat treatment layer is greater than or equal to 200. An OLED display device includes an OLED layer and a CPU element, in which the force sensor device is disposed between the OLED layer and the CPU element. A heat treatment layer is disposed on at least one side of the force sensor device and the force sensing layer of the OLED display device. Heat distribution is relatively uniform through the heat treatment layer, so that a temperature gradient on the force sensing layer may be effectively decreased, the temperature noise in the press force detection may be decreased, and accuracy of pressure detection may be increased.

Force sensor device and OLED display device including the same

A touch control device is provided. A protective cover protects the touch control device and includes a top-surface to sustain a touch action performed by the user. A flat touch sensing layer includes many first direction-detection electrodes second direction-detection electrodes. The fast and second direction-detection electrodes are isolated by a transparent insulating material at the position where the first direction-detection electrodes cross the second direction-detection electrodes. The first and second direction-detection electrodes constitute a flat sensing pattern. A pressure-sensing layer is disposed between the protective cover and the flat touch sensing layer and includes at least one pressure-sensing unit constituting a first pattern. The overlap ratio between the projection of the first pattern onto the flat touch sensing layer and the flat sensing pattern is less than or equal to about 5% of the flat sensing pattern.

Touch control device comprising pressure-sensing layer and flat touch sensing layer

A pressure sensing module and a pressure sensing touch control system are provided. The pressure sensing module includes a sensing layer formed on a surface of a substrate. The sensing layer includes at least one pressure sensing unit including four resistors with the same resistance values. The four resistors form a Wheatstone bridge. Pattern shapes of two of the four resistors have the same extending directions, and the two of the four resistors are not disposed adjacent to each other. The pressure sensing touch control system includes a touch control sensing unit. The touch control sensing unit is disposed between the four resistors to achieve pressure sensing and position sensing of pressing action. In the present disclosure, a bridge circuit is disposed on a single surface to prevent the sensing for pressing with a finger from being affected by temperature and other noise.

Pressure sensing module and pressure sensing touch control system using the same

A multi-force touch module includes first sensing electrodes disposed along X coordinate and second sensing electrodes disposed along Y coordinate. A multi-force touch sensing method for the multi-force touch module includes the following steps: detecting press position information, determining whether press positions are located at a same position on X axis, and detecting resistance values of the press positions on X axis or Y axis according to a result thus determined; and determining magnitudes of pressing forces at the press positions according to magnitudes of the resistance values.

A touch panel includes a substrate, a first touch sensor electrode, a first insulation structure, a second touch sensor electrode, and a first pressure sensor electrode. The first touch sensor electrode is disposed on the substrate and extends along a first direction. The first insulation structure is dispose on the substrate and covers a part of the first touch sensor electrode. The second touch sensor electrode is disposed on the substrate and extends along a second direction. The second touch sensor electrode crosses over the first insulation structure and electrically isolated from the first touch-sensitive electrode. A touch device includes a cover plate, a carrying structure, a first sensor layer, a dielectric layer and a second sensor layer. The carrying structure is disposed on the cover plate and includes a film layer and a buffer layer stacked on each other. The film is located between the cover plate and the buffer layer. The first sensor layer is at least disposed on the carrying structure. The first sensor layer and the cover plate are respectively located at two opposite sides of the carrying structure. The dielectric layer is disposed on the first sensor layer. The dielectric layer and the carrying structure are respectively located at two opposite sides of the first sensor layer. A transparent conductive oxide film for sensing deformation has a length, and generates a deformation amount when an external force is applied thereto, so as to change a resistance value of the transparent conductive oxide film. A ratio of the deformation amount to the length ranges from about 5&#xd7;10to about 3.5&#xd7;10, and a rate of change of the resistance value ranges from about 0.01% to about 3%.

The disclosure provides a pressure sensing signal processing method and system thereof. The pressure sensing signal processing method includes the below steps: acquiring the resistance; first-order differentiation on the recorded resistance-time curve and acquiring the corresponding slope value; matching the slope value with at least one predetermined database to acquire a pressing force gradient corresponding to the slope value; calculating and acquiring a pressing force based on the pressing force gradient. The system includes resistance detection module, differentiation processing module, comparison reference module and calculation module.

Method and system for processing pressure sensing signal

The disclosure provides a touch device, including a protection cover, a pressure-sensing layer and a flat touch-sensing electrode layer. The protection cover is used as an outer protection shield, and an upper surface of the protection cover is provided to users for pressing action. The pressure-sensing layer is disposed under the protection cover to detect touch strength. The flat touch-sensing electrode layer is disposed between the pressure-sensing layer and the protection cover to detect the position of the user's touch.

A touch panel is disclosed. The touch panel includes a cover plate having a viewing region and a border region surrounding the viewing region. At least one bonding region is defined in the border region. A shielding layer is disposed on the cover plate corresponding to the border region. An adhesive pattern layer is disposed on the shielding layer and at least in the bonding region. A sensing electrode layer is disposed on the cover plate and extends from the viewing region to the shielding layer corresponding to the border region. A signal trace layer including a plurality of traces is disposed on the shielding layer corresponding to the border region. Each trace has one end electrically connected to the sensing electrode layer and another end assembled onto the adhesive pattern layer corresponding to the bonding region. A method for forming a touch panel is also disclosed.

Touch panel and methods for forming the same

The present invention provides a touch panel. The touch panel includes first sensing lines extending in a first direction, second sensing lines extending in a second direction and intersecting with the first sensing lines, an insulating pad disposed at each intersection between the first sensing lines and the second sensing lines for isolating the first sensing lines and the second sensing lines. A direction of an external force exerted in the insulating pad is non-perpendicular to the edge of said insulating pad on the same horizontal plane. The present invention also provides a manufacturing method of the touch panel. The design of the insulating pad can disperse the external impact force caused by air knife, washing and so on, and preventing the cut-off of the insulating pad, thereby improving the yield of the touch panel.
