A 3D sensing system is provided. The 3D sensing system includes a first sensing device, a second sensing device and a controller. The first sensing device provides at least one first emitting light and receives a first sensing signal based on a first sensing timing. The second sensing device provides at least one second emitting light and receives a second sensing signal based on a second sensing timing. The controller adjusts at least one of the first sensing timing and the second sensing timing according to an interference result of the second sensing signal by the first sensing device.

3D sensing system

A 3D sensing system including a liquid crystal lens, a projector, an image sensor and a circuit. The projector provides a light beam to the liquid crystal lens which applies a pattern to the light beam to generate a structured light. The image sensor captures an image corresponding to the structured light. The circuit calculates first depth information according to the pattern and the image, and determines if the image satisfies a quality requirement. If the image does not satisfy the quality requirement, the pattern is modified and another image is captured for calculating second depth information. The first and second depth information are combined to generate a depth map.

3D sensing system and method

A three-dimensional display system, a driving circuit, and a display method are provided. The three-dimensional display system includes an eye tracking module, a driving circuit, and a host device. The eye tracking module is configured to generate eye tracking data including a scene image and a scene depth map, and perform eye detection to output an eye position data and an eye depth data. The driving circuit is coupled to the eye tracking module, and configured to receive the eye position data and the eye depth data. The host device is coupled to the driving circuit, and configured to provide original three-dimensional image data. The driving circuit is further configured to dynamically adjust the original three-dimensional image data to generate an adjusted three-dimensional image data according to the eye position data and the eye depth data.

Three-dimensional display system, driving circuit, and display method

A three-dimensional structure sensing system includes an image sensor that receives a reflected light from an object irradiated by an emitted light, the reflected light being converted into image data representing an image of the object; and a depth processing unit that generates depth data according to the image data. It is determined whether the depth data is affected by a reflective surface according to the image data and the depth data.

3D structure sensing system

A structured-light three-dimensional (3D) scanning system includes a projector that emits a projected light with a predetermined pattern onto an object; an image capture device that generates a captured image according to a reflected light reflected from the object, the predetermined pattern of the projected light being distorted due to 3D shape of the object, thereby resulting in a distorted pattern; a depth decoder that converts the distorted pattern into a depth map representing the 3D shape of the object; and a depth fusion device that generates a fused depth map according to at least two different depth maps associated with the object.

A timing controller circuit is arranged to control at least a gate in panel (GIP) circuit in a display panel, and includes a data receiving circuit, a timing detection circuit, a control circuit, and a data transmitting circuit, wherein the data receiving circuit is arranged to receive an image data, the timing detection circuit is coupled to the data receiving circuit, and is arranged to detect an input timing of the image data, the control circuit is coupled to the timing detection circuit, and is arranged to determine a GIP timing of the GIP circuit according to the input timing of the image data, and generate a timing control output according to the GIP timing, and the data transmitting circuit is coupled to the control circuit, and is arranged to transmit the timing control output to the GIP circuit.

An object detection system includes a projector that projects an original transmitted light on a scene containing an object; an adjustable device configured to shape the original transmitted light, thereby generating a shaped transmitted light; and an image capture device configured to capture an image from a reflected light from the scene. The original transmitted light is alternated with the shaped transmitted light, thereby resulting in an integrated image captured by the image capture device.

Object detection system capable of compensating varying light intensity

A three-dimensional (3D) sensing device is configured to sense an object. The 3D sensing device includes a flood light source, a structured light source, an image sensor, and a controller. The controller is configured to perform: commanding the flood light source and the structured light source to emit a flood light and a structured light in sequence; commanding the image sensor to sense a first reflective light and a second reflective light in sequence, so as to obtain a first image frame and a second image frame; combining the first image frame and the second image frame into a determination frame; and determining that the object is a specular reflection object in response to determining that the determination frame has at least two spots having gray levels satisfying a predetermined condition. A specular reflection object detection method is also provided.

A display system includes an image display device and a pair of shutter glasses. The image display device includes a display panel, a display communication circuit and a control circuit. The control circuit is configured to control the display communication circuit to transmit a shutter glasses control signal, and configured to control the display panel to alternately display a normal image and a compensate image according to a timing control signal. The pair of shutter glasses includes a pair of shutters, a glasses communication circuit and a shutter control circuit. The glasses communication circuit is configured to receive the shutter glasses control signal. The shutter control circuit is configured to alternately open and close the pair of shutters according to the shutter glasses control signal.

A method for performing light shaping with aid of an adaptive projector and associated apparatus are provided. Method for performing light shaping with aid of adaptive projector, and associated apparatus

A three-dimensional sensing system includes a plurality of scanners each emitting a light signal to a scene to be sensed and receiving a reflected light signal, according to which depth information is obtained. Only one scanner executes transmitting corresponding light signal and receiving corresponding reflected light signal at a time.

Three-dimensional sensing system

A system for calibrating a three-dimensional scanning device includes a structured-light scanner capable of performing a structured-light operation, and a processor that performs calibration on a device under calibration (DUC). The structured-light scanner captures a base image by performing the structured-light operation prior to calibration. The structured-light scanner captures a calibration image with respect to corresponding DUC during calibration, and the calibration image is inputted to the processor, which determines transformation mapping from the calibration image to the base image. The determined transformation is then transferred to the DUC during calibration.

System and method for calibrating a three-dimensional scanning device

A depth processor including a region of interest determination circuit and a depth decoder is provided. The region of interest determination circuit is configured to determine a size of a region of interest of an input image. The depth decoder is coupled to the region of interest determination circuit and configured to generate a depth map of the input image according to a filter size. The filter size is set according to the size of the region of interest of the input image.

Depth processor

A three-dimensional (3D) sensing system for determining a 3D profile of an object and a method are provided. The 3D sensing system includes a first light source, a liquid crystal lens, a light detector and a control circuit. The first light source is configured to emit polarized light with a polarization setting for projecting a structured light pattern on the object. The liquid crystal lens in a polarization state allows incident light with the polarization setting to pass through and block incident light without the polarization setting from passing through. The light detector is configured to detect light reflected from the object and passing through the liquid crystal lens. When the 3D sensing system is in a 3D mode, the control circuit is configured to turn on the first light source and control the liquid crystal lens to enter the polarization state.
