An endoscopic inspection system comprises: a switchable light source device for alternately providing first illumination light and second illumination light to illuminate an inspection location; an endoscope device for acquiring first image data of the inspection location under the illumination of the first illumination light, and acquiring second image data of the inspection location under the illumination of the second illumination light; a processor communicatively connected to the switchable light source device and the endoscope device, wherein the processor determines, according to the first image data and/or the second image data, whether the first image data and/or the second image data contains an abnormal region, and further generates determination data associated with the first image data and/or the second image data; and a display device communicatively connected to the processor for displaying the first image data and the second image data respectively according to a first display instruction and a second display instruction of the processor.

Endoscopic inspection system and method thereof

Examples pertaining to improvement on user equipment (UE) uplink latency in wireless communications are described. When an apparatus is in a special mode, a processor of the apparatus transmits to a network a request for permission to perform an uplink (UL) transmission for a plurality of times. The processor then receives from the network a grant. In response to receiving the grant, the processor performs the UL transmission to the network. In transmitting the request for the plurality of times, the processor transmits the request for the plurality of times at a frequency higher than a frequency at which the request to perform UL transmissions is transmitted to the network when the apparatus is in a normal operational mode.

User equipment uplink latency in wireless communications

A method and apparatus for generating a series of frames with aid of a synthesizer to offload graphics processing unit (GPU) rendering within an electronic device are provided. The method may include: utilizing a GPU to perform full-rendering to generate a first frame in a color buffer, for being output to a display panel and displayed on the display panel; utilizing the GPU to generate a set of metadata of at least one subsequent frame in a metadata buffer; and utilizing the synthesizer to synthesize said at least one subsequent frame according to previous frame information and the set of metadata of said at least one subsequent frame, to generate said at least one subsequent frame in the color buffer, for being output to the display panel and displayed on the display panel.

A stable frame rate is maintained by a system that includes a graphics processing unit (GPU). The system also includes memory to store frames rendered by the GPU, and a display to display the frames rendered by the GPU. In response to a negative indication with respect to the GPU maintaining a frame rate at an operating frequency, the GPU is operative to reduce frame quality of subsequent frames while maintaining the operating frequency.

The method further includes determining local sound speed according to environment information and determining the distance to an object using the local sound speed and the travel time. In addition, the method can include focusing on the object according to the object distance.

An image processing method is provided. The image processing method includes the following steps: blending a plurality of exposure frames captured by one or more image capturing devices using a plurality of exposure times to generate a real-time image; analyzing one or more regions of interest (ROIs) of the real-time image according to ROI information about the one or more ROIs of the real-time image, and accordingly generating an analysis result; and utilizing an image processor for referring to the analysis result to locally adjust image data within the one or more ROIs of the real-time image to generate an adjusted real-time image in real time.

Methods and systems for contactlessly controlling electronic devices according to signals from a digital camera and a sensor module

An electronic interaction apparatus for providing a 3D MMI is provided with a processing unit. The processing unit determines a first length between an object positioned at a first time and a surface formed by two digital camera modules, and a second length between the object positioned at a second time and the surface. Also, the processing unit determines a third length between the object positioned at a third time and the surface, and determines a depth in a virtual 3D space corresponding to the object positioned at the third time according to the first length, the second length, and the third length. Particularly, the virtual 3D space is displayed in a display screen, the third time is later than the first time and the second time, and the third length is longer than the first length and shorter than the second length.

A method for generating an image object, performed by a mobile electronic device, comprises the following steps. The mobile electronic device comprises multiple shutter objects, and each shutter object corresponds to an orientation type. A signal generated by one of the shutter objects is detected. A orientation type is determined according to the shutter object generating the signal. The image object with the determined orientation type is stored.

Systems and methods for capturing images of objects

An embodiment of a method for remotely controlling an electronic apparatus, performed by a processor of the electronic apparatus, comprises the following steps. Existence of an object in close proximity to the electronic apparatus is detected. A camera module of the electronic apparatus is turned on to capture a series of images. A control operation in response to the captured images is determined. The control operation is performed to an electronic device of the electronic apparatus.
