A detection device and a method for detecting a camera module of a product are provided. The first detection assembly includes a first platform, a turntable, and first detection members. The turntable rotatably is provided with first detection positions. The first detection members are connected to the first platform and surround the turntable. Each first detection position can support the second surface of the product to cause the camera module to face a corresponding first detection member. The turntable rotates the product to cause the camera module to face the next first detection member. The second detection assembly includes a second platform, a fixing table, and a second detection member. The fixing table is provided with a second detection position supporting the first surface of the product to cause the camera module to face the second detection member. The rotation assembly rotates the product detected by the first detection members.

A lens module includes a voice coil motor, a lens received in the voice coil motor, a light emitting element adapted for emitting lights, a prism, and a DLP sensor. The prism faces and inclines towards the light emitting element. The prism is configured to reflect the lights from the light emitting element to the DLP sensor. The voice coil motor is configured to automatically adjust a distance between the lens and the DLP sensor according to a sharpness of the pattern and send electronic signals to the DLP sensor. When the DLP sensor receives the electronic signals, the DLP sensor rotates to change states of the DLP sensor according to the electronic signals and control an amount of the lights reflected into the lens according to the electronic signals thereby forming a pattern with a higher degree of sharpness than the pattern previously captured.

The reflecting prism guides the source light to the DMD. The housing defines a receiving cavity. The light emitting element, the reflecting prism, and the DMD are received in the receiving cavity. The housing defines a light exit opening, the structured light exits from the light exit opening.

The holder includes at least one conductive layer corresponding to the pin. The conductive layer includes a first end and a second end opposite to the first end. The holder is mounted on the printed circuit board. One conductive adhesive connects the pin to the first end of the conductive layer, the other one conductive adhesive connects the second end of the conductive layer to the printed circuit board, that makes the conductive layer electrically connect to the printed circuit board.

A positioning device includes a positioning mechanism, a contacting mechanism located in the positioning mechanism, and a connecting mechanism located adjacent to an end of the positioning mechanism. The positioning mechanism includes a receiving member, a positioning member received in the receiving member, and a cover rotatable connected to the receiving member. The receiving member defines two sliding grooves. The cover defines two driving grooves corresponding to the two sliding grooves, each of the two driving grooves forms a driving surface, and the sliding block includes a slanted surface corresponding to the driving surface. When the cover is rotated to cover the receiving member, the driving surface resists with the slanted surface to drive the sliding block to move towards the positioning groove until the first contacting member contacts one testing point of the camera module.
