A loading and unloading module for optical disk drives includes a track plate, a moving plate, a guiding plate, a guiding arm and three rollers for three-point anchoring to achieve the functions of retrieving a disc, conveying the disc and ejecting the disc to substitute for conventional tray loading type or leaf-actuation loading type designs. The optical module is prevented from being scraped or damaged, and space utilization is improved. It also is adaptable for handling different sizes of discs.

A disk carrier mechanism is used for moving a disk between an insertion position and a reading position. The disk carrier mechanism includes a wedged member set, a fixing board, a sliding board, and a driver set. The wedged member set includes multiple wedged members, each with a wedged part for wedging a disk. The driver set is formed on the fixing board for driving the sliding board to move relative to the fixing board. After being inserted, a disk is wedged in the wedged part and the force of inserting the disk pushes the sliding board to move to the position where the sliding board makes contact with the driver set. Thus the driver set drives the sliding board to place the disk in the reading position. Thus fewer members are used to accomplish the goal of moving the disk, which simplifies the actions of members, the fabrication of the mechanism, and reduces cost.

Disk carrier mechanism with wedged member set

An ejection structure for an optical disk drive having a tray. The ejection structure is disposed on the back surface of the tray to eject the tray. The ejection structure comprises a base, a motor, a worm gear, a limit switch, a main gear, a first pushing arm, a second protruding pin, a twisting spring, a third protruding pin and a second pushing arm. When the motor drives the worm gear, the worm gear drives the main gear to rotate, so that the first pushing arm and the second pushing arm rotate and move relatively to eject the tray. When the first pushing arm is pushed from the outside of the tray, the first pushing arm drives the second pushing arm to move linearly to eject the tray.

Ejection structure

A disc receiver device comprises a loader that can rotate through a motor and transmits power. The loader comprises a plurality of gears meshing with each other and includes a sun gear and a planet gear. The planet gear has two degrees freedom of motion of a self-rotation and a revolution that takes the sun gear as a center. The tray is driven to move by means of the self-rotation of the planet gear, enabling the tray has a retracting position projecting out of the disc driver and a loading position moving into the disc driver. And a set of sliding plates that are engaged with shafts of a mecha are driven to move by means of the revolution of the planet gear, enabling the sliding plate has a first position corresponding to the retracting position and a second position corresponding to reading position to control the inward and outward movement of the disc and the upward and downward movement of the mecha.

Disc receiver device

This specification discloses a piezoelectric ultrasonic motor with multi-layer thin disks. A buzzer disk made of a piezoelectric material is supplied with an alternate voltage to produce alternately expanding and shrinking deformation. An elastic vibration disk in connection with the buzzer disk produces standing waves to transport kinetic energy to the exterior. A driving module symmetric in the vertical or horizontal direction is also formed. This does not only reduce the abrasion among the components, but also provide homogeneous forward and reverse driving forces.
