An electric-carrier power-supply device for use in an electric carrier is provided. The electric-carrier power-supply device includes a piezoresistive sensor, a battery interface, and a power-management unit (PMU). The battery interface is connected to an on-board battery and receives power from the on-board battery. The PMU controls power to a motor of the electric carrier. A piezoresistive strain gage is disposed between a contact area between the battery interface and the on-board battery, and is used to detect a pressure value of the contact area. The piezoresistive sensor receives the pressure value detected by the piezoresistive strain gage, and converts the pressure value into a resistance value. The piezoresistive sensor determines whether the resistance value is within a safe resistance value range to generate a resistance-value-determination signal. The PMU determines whether to provide power to the motor is according to the resistance-value-determination signal.

Electric-carrier power-supply device and method for detecting potential power failure

A supporter is provided. The supporter includes a base, a holder, a positioning member, a connecting rod assembly, and a power assembly. The holder is connected to the base and has a through-hole. The positioning member is disposed in the through-hole of the holder. The connecting rod assembly is disposed on the holder and connected to the positioning member. The power assembly is movably disposed on the holder via the connecting rod assembly. Accordingly, the power assembly is movable in response to the position of the electronic device, which achieves good recharge efficiency whether the electronic device is arranged upright or horizontally.

Supporter

A walker is provided. The walker includes a walker body, a handle unit, a first wheel unit and a second wheel unit. The handle unit is connected to the walker body. The first wheel unit is connected to the walker body. The second wheel unit is connected to the walker body. In an auxiliary mode, a first gap is formed between the first wheel unit and the second wheel unit. In a driving mode, a second gap is formed between the first wheel unit and the second wheel unit. The first gap is smaller than the second gap.

Walker

A brake module is provided. The brake module includes a first brake lever, a second brake lever, a moveable member, a first cable, a second cable, a first brake unit, a second brake unit, a third cable and a fourth cable. The first cable connects the first brake lever and the moveable member. The second cable connects the second brake lever and the moveable member. The third cable connects the first brake unit and the moveable member. The fourth cable connects the second brake unit and the moveable member. When a lever force is applied to the first cable or the second cable, the third cable applies a first brake force to the first brake unit, the fourth cable applies a second brake force to the second brake unit, and the lever force is smaller than the sum of the first brake force and the second brake force.

Brake module

An omnidirectional wheel is provided. The omnidirectional wheel includes a support unit, a major wheel, a first minor wheel and a second minor wheel. The major wheel is annular and is rotatably disposed on the support unit. The first minor wheel is rotatably disposed on the support unit. The first minor wheel is disposed on one side of the major wheel. The second minor wheel is rotatably disposed on the support unit. The second minor wheel is disposed on the other side of the major wheel. The omnidirectional wheel can easily roll over an obstacle when the omnidirectional wheel rolls laterally or forward.

Walker and omnidirectional wheel thereof

A portable electronic device is provided and includes a first display module, a second display module, a keyboard device, a sensing unit and a control unit. The second display module is pivotally connected to the first display module. The sensing unit is configured to sense a position of the keyboard device relative to the second display module to output a sensing signal. The control unit is configured to control a displaying image of the second display module according to the sensing signal.

Portable electronic device and method of controlling an image of a display module

A walker apparatus is provided. The walker apparatus includes a base, a plurality of wheels, a connection bracket, a handle unit and an actuating unit. The wheels are connected to the base. The connection bracket pivots on the base. The handle unit is disposed on the connection bracket. The actuating unit is connected to the base and the connection bracket. The actuating unit moves the connection bracket between a getting-up orientation and a walking-assistance orientation relative to the base. The user can stand up from a sitting position using the walker apparatus without external assistance from other people.

Walker apparatus

A clamshell electronic device is provided. The clamshell electronic device includes a device body, a cover, an auxiliary display unit and an orientation adjustment mechanism. The cover pivots on the device body, and the cover includes a cover notch. The auxiliary display unit is disposed on the device body, wherein the auxiliary display unit is adapted to be rotated between a first unit orientation and a second unit orientation. The orientation adjustment mechanism is connected to the cover and the auxiliary display unit, wherein when the cover is in a first cover orientation relative to the device body, the cover covers the device body, and the auxiliary display unit is in the first unit orientation and corresponds to the cover notch. The user can obtain information such as time, weather or messages directly via the auxiliary display unit in the the cover notch.

Clamshell electronic device

A method for preventing a person from taking a dangerous selfie is executed by a mobile electronic apparatus including a multi-axis sensing device and an image acquisition device disposed on a surface of the mobile electronic apparatus. The method includes the following steps: using the image acquisition device operating in a shooting mode to capture an image of the person in a background; using the multi-axis sensing device to detect orientation information of the mobile electronic apparatus; determining whether the person is in a potentially dangerous environment according to the orientation information and the image; and enabling the image acquisition device to suspend or exit the shooting mode when the person is in the potentially dangerous environment.

Apparatuses, methods, and storage medium for preventing a person from taking a dangerous selfie

An omnidirectional wheel is provided. The omnidirectional wheel includes a plurality of major brackets, a plurality of minor brackets, a plurality of major wheels and a plurality of minor wheels. The major brackets include a first major bracket. The minor brackets include a first minor bracket. The major wheels include a first major wheel, wherein the major wheels are connected to the respective major brackets, the first major wheel is connected to the first major bracket, the first major wheel is rotatable around a first axis, and the first major bracket extends in a first extending direction. The minor wheels include a first minor wheel, wherein the minor wheels are connected to the respective minor brackets, the first minor wheel is connected to the first minor bracket, the first minor wheel is rotatable around a second axis, and the first minor bracket extends in a second extending direction.

Moveable carrier and omnidirectional wheel thereof

A brake module is provided. The brake module is for braking at least one omnidirectional wheel, and the omnidirectional wheels include at least one major wheel and a plurality of minor wheels. The brake module includes a base, a first brake arm, a first major brake block and a first minor brake block. The first major brake block is disposed on the first brake arm. The first minor brake block is disposed on the first brake arm. When the first brake arm is in a first orientation, the first major brake block and the first minor brake block are separated from the omnidirectional wheel, and when the first brake arm is in a second orientation, the first major brake block abuts the major wheel, and the first minor brake block abuts one of the minor wheels.

Movable vehicle and brake module thereof

A computer apparatus includes a base and a display device. The base includes a first casing and a ferromagnetic unit fastened to the first casing. The display device includes a second casing having a connecting side portion and a magnetic unit. In a first use state, the connecting side portion of the second casing is adjacent to the first casing of the base, and an angle formed therebetween is adjustable. The magnetic unit is fastened to the connecting side portion of the second casing, and magnetically attracts ferromagnetic unit of the base, thereby permitting sliding of the display device relative to the base without separating therefrom.
