Provided is a heating mechanism for a biochemical reaction device, including: a heat-conducting body including: at least one accommodating groove each including a chamber and an opening communicating with the chamber; a clamping hole, in communication with the opening and for inserting a reaction tube; and at least one heat-conducting block, movably disposed in the chamber and having one end connected with an elastic element and another opposite end provided with an abutting portion, the elastic element enabling the abutting portion of the heat-conducting block to protrude from the opening and locate in the clamping hole; and a temperature control element connected to the heat-conducting body for heating and regulating a temperature of the heat-conducting block. The heat-conducting blocks of the heating mechanism can be in direct and assured contact with the reaction tube for conducting heat, so that the solution in the reaction tube can easily and assuredly reach a preset temperature, thereby achieving a consistent reaction condition and increasing the accuracy of the reaction result.

Heating mechanism for biochemical reaction device

The present disclosure relates to a heating device and a biochemical reactor having the heating device. The heating device includes an upper plate, a lower plate, a middle plate, and an electric heating element. The upper plate has an upper heating hole, an upper receiving hole, and an upper conductive layer. The lower plate has a lower heating hole, a lower receiving hole, and a first lower conductive layer. The middle plate is disposed between the upper and lower plates and has a middle heating hole and a middle receiving hole. The upper, middle and lower receiving holes are connected together to form a receiving through hole. The electric heating element is disposed in the receiving through hole and has two terminals connected to the upper conductive layer and the lower conductive layer, respectively.

Heating device and biochemical reactor having the same

A biochemical reactor includes a temperature control device containing a substrate, a first conductive layer, a second conductive layer, a receiving hole, and a heating element. The substrate has a through hole for accommodating the vessel; the receiving hole is adjacent to the through hole for receiving the heating element; the first conductive layer has a connecting region formed on the wall of the through hole; and two terminals of the heating element are respectively connected electrically to the first and the second conductive layers. As such, the heat generated from the heating element can be transferred to the through hole via the first conductive layer to heat the vessel.

Biochemical reactor

The present disclosure is related to a device for controlling thermal convection velocity of a biochemical reaction. The thermal convection velocity controlling device includes a base body for disposing a tube which is movable, wherein the tube is filled with a buffer of the biochemical reaction; a heating source located at a bottom of the tube or at a side of the tube to heat the buffer; and a flow rate adjusting apparatus for controlling a thermal convection flow direction of the buffer in the tube, whereby the flow rate adjusting apparatus changes a flow velocity and a flow time of the buffer. The present disclosure is also related to a method for controlling thermal convection velocity of a biochemical reaction using the device.

Device for controlling thermal convection velocity of biochemical reaction and method for the same

A reaction tube for performing isothermal polymerase chain reaction therein is provided and includes an upper section, a lower capillary section, a linkage connecting the upper section and the lower capillary section, and a thermal conductor. The lower capillary section has an annealing portion, an annular heating groove, and a close end. The annealing portion is connected with the linkage, and the annular heating groove is connected with the annealing portion. The close end is connected with the annular heating groove. The thermal conductor tightly embraces the annular heating groove of the lower capillary section for conducting heat. Accordingly, a heat generated from the heating source will conduct to the annular heating groove of the lower capillary section of the reaction tube, a temperature gradient along the reaction tube is then provided in order to perform a thermal convection, thereby performing the isothermal polymerase chain reaction in the reaction tube.
