A cable management device in a server chassis able to hold and safeguard a greatly extended range of cable lengths, and server chassis including same, comprises connecting assembly, sliding rail assembly, and cable management assembly. The sliding rail assembly includes parallel first and second sliding rails, the first sliding rail including outer, middle, and inner rails, and the second sliding rail including similar outer, middle, and inner rails. The assembly includes first to fourth sliding arms, together with a supporting bar. The first sliding arm is movably connected to the outer rail of the second sliding rail, and the fourth sliding arm is movably connected to the inner rail of the first sliding rail. One end of the supporting bar is connected to the middle rail of the first sliding rail, the other end is connected to the middle rail of the second sliding rail.

Cable management device with variable total length and server chassis having the same

A server cabinet which can be assembled and disassembled by means of a buckle instead of screws includes a fixing plate and a sliding rail structure. The fixing plate defines restriction holes. The sliding rail structure comprises a rail assembly and a buckle. The rail assembly includes first and second limiting portions. The second limiting portion passes through the restriction hole and is disposed on a first side of the fixing plate. The first limiting portion, with a first limiting hole, is disposed on a second side of the fixing plate opposite to the first side. The second limiting portion, with a second limiting hole, communicates with the first limiting hole. The buckle is hooked and passes through the first limiting hole to abut the first side, and can be disengaged from the first side by rotation.

Sliding rail structure and server cabinet

A sliding rail positioning device includes a first rail, a second rail, and a third rail. The second rail includes a second body and a second holding member. The second body defines a first receiving hole. The third rail includes a third body and a third holding member. When the second body is driven by the first rail to slide out, the third holding member is biased toward the second body to be received in the first receiving hole, so that the second body cannot be retracted back. When the first rail is retracted, the first rail presses the second holding member to press the third holding member out of the first receiving hole so that the second body can be retracted.

Sliding rail positioning device

A non-permanent bracket assembly for a server cabinet which can hold a server only or a server and a power distribution unit includes a slide member and a fixing member. One end of the slide member can be mounted to a cabinet for supporting a server. The fixing member is detachably positioned at the other end of the slide member. The other end of the slide member is mounted to the cabinet through the fixing member, and the fixing member is further configured to fix a power distribution unit.

Non-permanent bracket assembly for server cabinet

A slide rail assembly includes an inner rail, a middle rail slidably coupled to the inner rail, and an outer rail slidably coupled to the middle rail. The inner rail includes a first body and a latching member. The latching member extends from the first body to the middle rail. The middle rail includes a second body and a locking device. The locking device is fixedly coupled to the second body. The locking device defines a latching hole configured to receive the latching member so that the middle rail moves together with the inner rail relative to the outer rail to extend to a designated position and length of the slide rail assembly.

Slide rail assembly

A slide rail includes a first rail, a second rail, and a third rail. The first rail is slidably coupled to the second rail. The second rail is slidably coupled to the third rail. The first rail includes a pulling tab. The second rail includes a first resilient piece and a first clearance slot. The third rail includes a positioning slot. One end of the first resilient piece is fixed to the second rail, and another end of the first resilient piece extends into the first clearance slot. When the first rail slides out, the pulling tab drives the first resilient piece and the second rail to slide out. When the first resilient piece is moved to the positioning slot, the first resilient piece resiliently bends and inserts into the positioning slot, and the first resilient piece is separated from the pulling tab.

Slide rail

A slide rail includes a first rail, a second rail, a third rail, a first resilient member, a second resilient member, and a locking member. When the first rail is pulled out, the first resilient member drives the second resilient member to move along with the first resilient member to pull the second rail. When a receiving slot is aligned with a through slot, a spring piece and the locking member fall into the through slot, the spring piece separates from the first resilient member, the locking member latches onto a first step surface of the through slot to limit movement of the second rail, and the first rail continues to move.

A slide rail mechanism includes a first bracket and a second bracket. The first bracket is slidably coupled to the second bracket. The second bracket includes a second body and two second bent portions respectively extending toward each other from two longitudinal sides of the second body. A gap is defined between each second bent portion and the second body. The first bracket is slidably received in the gaps. The second bent portions limit a sliding direction of the first bracket relative to the second bracket. The first bracket is retracted or extended relative to the second bracket to adjust a combined length of the first bracket and the second bracket in a cabinet.

Slide rail mechanism

A slide rail assembly includes a sliding rail and a supporting device. The supporting device includes a supporting bracket and a sliding bracket. The supporting bracket defines at least one sliding slot along an extending direction of the supporting bracket, and the sliding bracket defines at least one sliding portion corresponding to the at least one sliding slot. The sliding bracket is slidably connected to the supporting bracket through the at least one sliding portion and the at least one sliding slot, the sliding bracket is mounted to the sliding rail. Supporting device and slide rail assembly using the same

A mounting apparatus using a sliding mechanism for easy insertion and removal of insertable units includes a supporting bracket and a sliding mechanism. The sliding mechanism includes an outer rail, a middle rail, an inner rail, a latching unit, and a locking unit. The latching unit includes first and second guiding portions on the inner rail, first and second positioning members slidably mounted to the middle rail, and third and second guiding portions on the outer rail. The locking unit includes a locking member at end of the inner rail and a locking portion on the middle rail to correspond to the locking member.

Sliding mechanism and mounting apparatus using the same

A mounting mechanism which can be mounted to holes with different shapes includes an installation member, a locating member, and a clamping member. The locating member includes a first locating pillar with one end fixed to the installation member and a second locating pillar fixed to an opposite end of the first locating pillar. A floating pillar is sheathed on the second locating pillar and one end of the floating pillar is elastically connected to the installation member. The clamping member is opposite to the locating member to form a clamping part together with the locating member. The floating pillar is moveable between a first position, where the floating pillar shields the second locating pillar and a second position where the floating pillar exposes the second locating pillar. Mounting mechanism and sliding rails using the same

A sliding rail fixing structure in a server includes a sliding rail, a fastening plate with a fastening seat, and a clip. The fastening plate defines a restriction hole. The fastening seat includes a supporting member. The supporting member passes through the restriction hole to be positioned at a side of the fastening seat. A size of the supporting member matches a size of an installing hole defined on a pillar. The supporting member is positioned in the installing hole when the pillar is positioned at the side of the fastening seat. The clip can rotate on the fastening seat and includes a hook portion. The hook portion hooks onto the pillar to assemble the pillar to the sliding rail fixing structure. When the clip rotates through a preset angle, the hook portion moves away from the pillar to disassemble the pillar.

Sliding rail fixing structure of server cabinet

A demountable mounting apparatus for fixing a slide rail to a post includes a mounting bracket secured to the slide rail, a coupling member fixed to the mounting bracket, a latch member rotatably mounted to the mounting bracket, and a restoring member between the latch member and the mounting bracket. The coupling member includes an inserting pin extending into the through hole of the post, and defining a receiving slot. The latch member includes an arm to be received in the receiving slot of the inserting pin, and a hook protruding from the arms. The latch member is locked in a position by the hooks engaging the far surface of the post. A rotation of latch member makes the hooks disengage from the post, thereby allowing the release of the slide rail from the post. The restoring member biases the latch member to the locked position.

Mounting apparatus for slide rail

A mounting apparatus for fixing a slide rail to either a first rack post or a second rack post with different sizes or shapes of locating holes, includes a mounting bracket secured to the slide rail, a latch member rotatably mounted to the mounting bracket, and a restoring member. The mounting bracket includes a locating pin having a first segment adapted to extending through the first rack post locating hole, and a second segment adapted to extending through the second rack post locating hole. The latch member includes an arm received in the locating pin, with first and second holding teeth. In the locking position, either the first or the second teeth extend out of the locating pin to clasp the first or the second rack post, the unlocking position is achieved against spring pressure.

A mounting apparatus for a slide rail includes a post, a mounting bracket, a fixing plate, and two fasteners. The post longitudinally defines two positioning holes. The mounting bracket is capable of being connected to an end of the slide rail. An end plate is formed on an end of the mounting bracket, and two through holes are defined in the end plate. The fixing plate defines two fixing holes. The fasteners are respectively extended through the positioning holes of the post and the through holes of the end plate, and engaged in the fixing holes of the fixing plate, to allow the fixing plate to be locked to the post. The mounting bracket is transversely slidably coupled to the post and the fixing plate via the two fasteners.
