The present invention relates to a plasma display panel with improved Luminance and luminous efficiency. The panel includes barrier ribs configured to form a plurality of closed cells, with each closed cell having a discharge region filled with a xenon gas of at least 15% by volume, and another gas of 85% or less by volume.

Plasma display panel performing high luminance and luminous efficiency

A plasma display panel. Front and rear plates are spaced by a rib structure that is disposed on the rear plate with Neon gas filled therebetween. The rib structure partitions off the rear plate into a plurality of first, second and third sub-pixels adjacent to each other, wherein both of the first and second sub-pixels are smaller than the third one. Red, green and blue phosphors are disposed in the first, second and third sub-pixels respectively, wherein adjacent first, second and third sub-pixels form a pixel.

Plasma display panel

An alternating current plasma display panel is provided. The alternating current plasma display panel includes a plurality of first sub-pixels, a plurality of second sub-pixels, a plurality of third sub-pixels, a plurality of common data electrodes and a plurality of row electrodes. The first sub-pixels, the second sub-pixels and the third sub-pixels are disposed in a delta configuration. The common data electrodes are disposed below the sub-pixels, and the row electrodes are disposed above the sub-pixels. The amount of the first sub-pixels, the second sub-pixels and the third sub-pixels passed through by each of the common data electrodes are the same. The alternating current plasma display panel can reduce the number of data driving chips and effectively improve the quality of image.
