Embodiments of the disclosure provide a color correction method and a color correction device. The method includes: obtaining native gamma information and native color point information of a display; obtaining target gamma information and target color point information of a target color space; obtaining a gamma correction parameter associated with the display based on the native gamma information and the target gamma information; determining a first pseudo gamma parameter based on the target gamma information; determining a second pseudo gamma parameter based on an inverse gamma operation of the target gamma information; determining a pseudo color space conversion matrix based on the native color point information and the target color point information; and updating a 3D lookup table of the display based on the first pseudo gamma parameter, the pseudo color space conversion matrix, and the second pseudo gamma parameter in sequence.

Color correction method and color correction device for obtaining target gamma information of a target color space

The disclosure provides a method for dynamically adjusting image clarity and an image processing device using the same method. The method includes: retrieving an image frame and searching for a predetermined object therein; evaluating a first sharpness of the predetermined object; if the first sharpness of the predetermined object is lower than a sharpness threshold, calculating a difference value between the first sharpness and the sharpness threshold; dividing the image frame into blocks and evaluating a risk value and an effect value of increasing a second sharpness of each block; inputting the difference value, the risk value, and the effect value to a classifying model to generate a clarity setting value; and adjusting a clarity of a display on showing the image frame based on the clarity setting value.

Method for dynamically adjusting image clarity and image processing device using the same

An image display method, adapted to an electronic device having a screen, an image capturing unit, and a light sensor, includes the following steps. A preview image captured by the image capturing unit is received and processed so as to generate a plurality of pixel luminance values of the preview image. A light illumination of an ambient light detected by the light sensor is received. An output Gamma lookup table among a plurality of Gamma lookup table is selected according to the pixel luminance values and the light illumination of the ambient light. An adjusted pixel luminance value corresponding to each of the pixel luminance values is generated based on the output Gamma lookup table so as to accordingly display the preview image on the screen with sunlight readability. An electronic device is further provided in the invention to implement the above method.

A 3-D image processing device for processing a 3-D image data, wherein the 3-D image data has a base frame and a dependent frame, including: an image detection unit, detecting the 3-D image data to obtain the base frame and the dependent frame; an image compensation unit, generating a compensation dependent frame by performing image compensation for the dependent frame based on the base frame; and a display device, displaying a 3-D compensation image data according to the base frame and the compensation dependent frame, wherein the base frame and the dependent frame constitute a visual 3-D image, and the base frame has more image details than the dependent frame.

Devices and methods for 3-D image processing

An illumination system including a light source, a filtering module, a wavelength conversion unit, and a reflection unit is provided. The light source emits an illumination beam. The filtering module is disposed on a transmission path of the illumination beam and includes a plurality of filtering units having different colors. The filtering units move into the transmission path of the illumination beam in turn. Each filtering unit reflects a part of the illumination beam and allows another part of the illumination beam to pass through. The wavelength conversion unit is disposed on a transmission path of the part of the illumination beam reflected by at least one of the filtering units to convert the part of the illumination beam reflected by the at least one of the filtering units into a converted beam. The wavelength conversion unit is disposed on the reflection unit. A projection apparatus is also provided.

A method for adjusting color, suitable for a three dimension (3D) projector, is provided. In the present invention, a plurality of segment ranges of a color wheel is covered one by one, and it is measured a color temperature corresponding to the color wheel after each of the segment ranges is covered. Then, each of the color temperatures is compared with a standard color temperature for choosing one of the color temperatures closest to the standard color temperature. And the segment range corresponding to the color temperatures closest to the standard color temperature is regarded as a correctional covering segment.

Method for adjusting color

In a method for automatic color wheel calibration in a projector, the color wheel includes three primary colors and a non-primary color. The method includes: enabling the projector to project the non-primary color, and measuring first optical physical amounts of the projected non-primary color; enabling the projector to project a combination color of the three primary colors having respective color level values, measuring second optical physical amounts of the projected combination color, and adjusting the respective color level values of the three primary colors according to respective values of differences between the first optical physical amounts and the second optical physical amounts; and repeating the above steps until each of the values of differences approximates zero, thereby obtaining color level values for the three primary colors to produce a combination color matching the non-primary color.
