A cable drop compensation circuit includes a current detection circuit, a compensation judgment circuit, and a compensation circuit. The current detection circuit detects a load current supplied to a load by a DC output circuit, so as to generate a current detection signal. The compensation judgment circuit receives the current detection signal, and generates a judgment signal when judging the load current higher than a predetermined compensation value. When receiving the judgment signal, the compensation circuit generates a compensation signal. In response to the compensation signal, the DC output circuit raises an output voltage by a compensation voltage.

Cable drop compensation circuit and power circuit using the same

A battery balance circuit is adapted to balance battery voltages among a plurality of battery cells. The battery balance circuit is enabled to perform a battery balance process when the battery cells are charged, and is disabled when one of the batter cells is fully charged or the battery cells are un-charged.

Battery balance circuit

An LED driving circuit, adapted to drive an LED module, is disclosed. The LED driving circuit comprises a converting circuit, a converting controller, and a short-circuit protection circuit. The converting circuit, having a capacitor coupled to the LED module, is coupled to an input power source to proceed converting operation to supply an output current for driving the LED module. The converting controller controls the converting circuit to provide a stable current flowing through the LED module. The short-circuit protection circuit is coupled to the LED module in series and cuts the current flowing through the LED module off when detecting that the current higher than a current protection value.

LED driving circuit and short-circuit protection circuit

An LED driving circuit for driving an LED module is provided. The LED module is coupled to an inductor and a flywheel unit to provide a continuous current conduction of the inductor. A terminal of a converting switch is coupled to the LED module, and another terminal thereof is coupled to ground through a current detection unit that generates a current feedback signal to a controller, so as to stabilize a current flowing through the LED module. The LED driving circuit also includes a protecting circuit, which detects a potential of one end of the LED module to generate a detection signal and makes/has the converting switch to be turned off responsive to the detection signal. If the converting switch is turned off, driving of the LED module is stopped.

LED driving circuit and protecting circuit thereof

A power converting circuit having the function of circuit detecting is provided. The power converting circuit has a transistor, a controller and a detecting circuit. The transistor receives an input voltage. The controller is coupled to a control end of the transistor to control the conducting state of the transistor so as to stabilize the output of the power converting circuit. The detecting circuit detects at least one of the control end and the low voltage end of the transistor, and generates a state signal when the detected voltage of any one of the control end and the low voltage end does not fall within a corresponding predetermined voltage range. The state signal is utilized for stopping a power circuit which provides the input voltage providing the input voltage. In addition, a light emitting diode driving circuit having the function of circuit detecting is also provided.

LED driving circuit and power converting circuit

A LED driving circuit and a backlight module using the same are disclosed. The LED driving circuit comprises a LED module and a current controlling unit. The LED module has a plurality of the LED strings, each having a driving terminal. The current controlling unit has a plurality of current balancing terminal coupled to the driving terminal, for balancing the currents flowing through the LED strings. The current controlling unit receives a mode switch signal, controls the amount of the currents of the LED strings about a first current value when the mode switch signal represent a first mode, and controls the amount of the currents of the LED strings about a second current value when the mode switch signal represent a second mode.

LED driving circuit and backlight module

A lamp driving apparatus includes a switch module, a controller, a resonant module, and a level shift circuit. The switch module includes a high side transistor switch and a low side transistor switch connected in series between an input power source and a common level. The controller controls the high side and the low side transistor switches to control the power from the input power source transmitted through the switch module. The resonant module coupled to the switch module converts the power into an AC output signal to drive a lamp. The level shift circuit generates a high side control signal based on an voltage level of a connecting node of the high side and the low side transistor switches, the level shift voltage, and a control signal generated by the controller so as to control the high transistor switch.

Lamp driving apparatus and level shift driving circuit

A load driving circuit and a multi-load feedback circuit is disclosed. The load driving circuit and the multi-load feedback circuit are adapted to drive a LED module that has a current balancing circuit for balancing the currents flowing through LEDs. The load driving circuit and the multi-load feedback circuit modules the electric power transmitted by the LED driving apparatus to a LED module according to voltage level(s) of current balancing terminals having insufficient voltage in the current balancing circuit, and so the voltage levels of the current balancing terminals are higher than or equal to a preset voltage level, further increasing the efficiency thereof.

Load driving circuit and multi-load feedback circuit

A fluorescent lamp driver circuit is provided. The fluorescent lamp driver circuit uses reversed current detecting signal to achieve feedback control and circuit protection so as to simplify the driver circuit and reduces the number of the required electronic components. The driver circuit needs a single control unit to control the whole circuit, which not only reduces cost, but also simplifies circuit design.

Fluorescent lamp driver circuit

A fluorescent lamp driving circuit is provided. The fluorescent lamp driving circuit collects a pulse-width-modulation and a MOS switch in a single package. The pulse-width-modulation for driving multiple lamps only needs two pins to achieve feedback control and protection control. Thereby the pins required by the pulse-width-modulation are decreased substantially, and the electronic elements needed for feedback and protection control are also reduced, and the overall circuit design is simplified.

Fluorescent lamp driving circuit

A frequency jitter generator and a frequency jitter PWM controller are provided for overcoming the shortcoming that a conventional PWM controller reduces the electromagnetic interference issue by means of varying the operating frequency of the PWM controller based on an input voltage, while resulting in the uncertainty of the range of frequency jitter and the difficulty circuit design due to the effect of the input voltage and the load. The frequency jitter generator and PWM controller adjust the range of frequency jitter by using a signal within a fixed voltage range. The invention not only gets rid of the effect of the input voltage and the loading, but also simplifies the circuit design by fixing the range of frequency jitter no greater than a predetermined percentage regardless of the operating frequency of the PWM controller.
