A reflective display panel includes a first substrate and a second substrate. A thin film transistor and a reflective layer are disposed on the first substrate. A color resist layer is disposed on the second substrate. The reflective display panel includes a color sub-pixel region and a white sub-pixel region adjacent to each other. The color sub-pixel region has the color resist layer, and the white sub-pixel region has no color resist layer. A buffer layer is disposed in the white sub-pixel region on the first substrate or the second substrate. A cell gap between the first substrate and the second substrate in the white sub-pixel region is smaller than a cell gap between the first substrate and the second substrate in the color sub-pixel region. In this way, reflectivity and chromaticity can be improved.

Reflective display panel

A display device has a display area and a peripheral area, and includes an array substrate. The array substrate includes M number of pixel unit columns disposed in the display area and a first dummy electrode disposed in the peripheral area, where M is a positive integer greater than or equal to 2. The M number of pixel unit columns include a first pixel unit column to an Mpixel unit column arranged in sequence. Each of the M number of pixel unit columns includes a plurality of pixel units arranged in sequence. The first dummy electrode is located on one side of the first pixel unit column. During a frame period, the first pixel unit column receives the first pixel signal, and the first dummy electrode receives the first dummy signal. The polarity of the first pixel signal is different from that of the first dummy signal.

Display device

A display apparatus including a display panel, a first light source module, and a second light source module is disclosed. The display panel has a display surface and a back surface away from the display surface. The first light source module is disposed on a side of one of the display surface and the back surface of the display panel, and overlaps the display surface. The second light source module is disposed on a side of the other one of the display surface and the back surface of the display panel, and overlaps the display surface.

The backlight module includes multiple backlight units. Each backlight unit includes a first light emitting unit and multiple second light emitting units. The first light emitting unit has a first beam angle, and each second light emitting unit has a second beam angle which is narrower than the first beam angle. In a first mode, a light intensity of the first light emitting unit is equal to a first intensity, and a light intensity of the second light emitting units is equal to a second intensity. In a second mode, the light intensity of the first light emitting unit is equal to a third intensity, and the light intensity of the second light emitting units is equal to a fourth intensity. The first intensity is greater than the third intensity, and the second intensity is less than the fourth intensity.

Backlight module and display device for privacy protection

The backlight module includes the following units. Multiple first light emitting units are disposed on a top surface of a transparent substrate. A beam angle of the first light emitting units is greater than or equal to 30 degrees and less than or equal to 45 degrees. Multiple second light emitting units and a light guide plate are disposed on a bottom surface of the transparent substrate. Each second light emitting unit is disposed in a respective hole of the light guide plate. A light intensity of the first light emitting units in a first mode is smaller than that in a second mode. A light intensity of the second light emitting units in the first mode is greater than that in the second mode. In this way, the purpose of privacy protection can be achieved.

Backlight module for protecting privacy

The disclosure provides a touch display panel including a substrate and a first mesh electrode. The first mesh electrode is disposed on the substrate and includes a plurality of first extending portions, a plurality of second extending portions, and a plurality of first disconnection regions. The first extending portions are arranged along a first direction and extend in a second direction. The first direction intersects with the second direction. The second extending portions are arranged along the second direction and extend in the first direction. The first disconnection regions are arranged along the first direction and extend in the second direction. The first disconnection regions overlap the second extending portions and do not overlap the first extending portions.

Touch display panel

A reflective LCD panel includes a color filter substrate, an array substrate, a liquid crystal layer and a polarizing film. The array substrate and the color filter substrate are disposed oppositely. The liquid crystal layer is disposed between the color filter substrate and the array substrate and has an alignment direction. The polarizing film is disposed on the color filter substrate, and color coordinates of the polarizing film in the CIE1976 color space are (a, b), wherein 0.05&#x2264;a&#x2264;0.2 and &#x2212;5&#x2264;b&#x2264;0. The liquid crystal layer has a birefringence difference &#x394;n, the liquid crystal layer has a thickness (d), when the reflective LCD panel is in a white frame, 2&#x394;n*d=&#x394;&#x3bb; is satisfied, &#x394;&#x3bb; is the optical path difference obtained when a forward light vertically enters the liquid crystal layer and is reflected by the array substrate, and 120 nm&#x2264;&#x394;n*d&#x2264;170 nm.

Reflective LCD panel

The display panel includes a first substrate, a second substrate, pixel structures, a liquid crystal layer and a transparent conductive layer. The liquid crystal layer is disposed between the pixel structures and the second substrate. The transparent conductive layer is disposed between the second substrate and the liquid crystal layer. When a liquid crystal molecule of the liquid crystal layer is a positive liquid crystal molecule, an absolute voltage difference between the transparent conductive layer and the common electrode is smaller than or equal to 2.3 volts(V). When the liquid crystal molecule of the liquid crystal layer is a negative liquid crystal molecule, the absolute voltage difference between the transparent conductive layer and the common electrode is smaller than or equal to 5V.

Display panel

A manufacturing method of the flexible panel is provided. Firstly, a carrier substrate is provided. Then, an adhesion layer is formed on the carrier substrate, a flexible substrate is formed on the adhesion layer, and a buffer layer is formed on the flexible substrate. Then, a device layer is formed on the flexible substrate. Next, a separating process is performed for separating the flexible substrate and the device layer from the carrier substrate. According to a relation between a thermal expansion coefficient of the flexible substrate and a thermal expansion coefficient of the carrier substrate, the manufacturing method of the flexible panel selects a pattern of the adhesion layer. The pattern of the adhesion layer includes a frame adhesion structure or a plane adhesion structure.

Flexible panel and manufacturing method thereof

A reflective liquid crystal display panel including a plurality of pixel units is provided. Each pixel unit includes first and second substrates, one first signal line, four second signal lines, a liquid crystal layer, a first pixel structure, a second pixel structure, a third pixel structure and a fourth pixel structure. The first and second signal lines are disposed on the first substrate. The first, second, third, and fourth pixel structures are electrically connected to one of the four second signal lines respectively and electrically connected to the first signal line, where the first, second, third, and fourth pixel structures respectively include an active component and a reflective pixel electrode electrically connected to the active component, and a reflection area ratio of the first, second, third, and fourth pixel structures is 1:2:4:8. The second substrate is located opposite to the first substrate. The liquid crystal layer is disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate. The display panel displays 16 gray scales to achieve good visual effect.

Reflective liquid crystal display panel

A reflective liquid crystal display panel including a plurality of pixel units is provided. Each pixel unit includes first and second substrates, one first signal line, four second signal lines, a liquid crystal layer, a first pixel structure, a second pixel structure, a third pixel structure and a fourth pixel structure. The first and second signal lines are disposed on the first substrate. The first, second, third, and fourth pixel structures are electrically connected to one of the four second signal lines respectively and electrically connected to the first signal line, where the first, second, third, and fourth pixel structures respectively include an active component and a reflective pixel electrode electrically connected to the active component, and a reflection area ratio of the first, second, third, and fourth pixel structures is one of 1:2:4:8 and 2:1:4:8. The second substrate is located opposite to the first substrate. The liquid crystal layer is disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate. The display panel displays 16 gray scales to achieve good visual effect.

A reflective LCD panel includes a plurality of pixel units, each of which includes: first and second substrates, first and second scan lines, first and second data lines, a liquid crystal layer, and first, second, third, and fourth pixel structures. The first and second scan lines and the first and second data lines are disposed on the first substrate. Each of the first, second, third, and fourth pixel structures is electrically connected to one of the first and second scan lines and one of the first and second data lines, respectively. The first, second, third, and fourth pixel structures respectively include: an active component and a reflective pixel electrode electrically connected to the active component, and a reflective area ratio of the first, second, third, and fourth pixel structures is 1:2:4:8 or 2:1:4:8. Here, 16 gray scales may be displayed for achieving better visual effects.

A method for manufacturing a flexible electrical device is provided and includes the following steps. A carrier substrate is provided. A releasing layer is formed on the carrier substrate. A flexible substrate is formed on the releasing layer. The flexible substrate has a first surface facing the releasing layer and a second surface opposite to the first surface. The flexible substrate is not in contact with the carrier substrate. A device layer is formed on the flexible substrate. The device layer has a third surface facing the flexible substrate and a fourth surface opposite to the third surface. The flexible substrate is separated from the releasing layer, and the releasing layer remains on the carrier substrate. Accordingly, the releasing layer and the carrier substrate can be recycled for forming another flexible electrical device.

Method for manufacturing flexible electrical device

A touch-sensing electrode structure includes multiple first electrodes and multiple second electrodes. Each of the first electrodes includes at least a first major part and a second major part, the first major part and the second major part cross over each other to form at least one interconnect section, the interconnect section includes a first connecting line extending in a first direction and a second connecting line extending in a second direction different to the first direction. Each of the second electrodes includes a plurality of electrode sections and third connecting lines, each of the third connecting lines is connected between two adjacent electrode sections, the third connecting lines extend in a third direction different to the first direction and the second direction, and at least one of the third connecting lines overlaps the interconnect section.
