A physiological signal monitoring device includes a base, a biosensor mounted to the base, a transmitter, and a sealing unit. The base is adapted to be mounted to a skin surface of a host. The biosensor includes a mounting seat and a sensing member that is mounted to the mounting seat. The sensing member is adapted to be partially inserted underneath the skin surface of the host for measuring an analyte of the host and to send a corresponding physiological signal. The transmitter is for receiving and transmitting the physiological signal, and has a bottom portion. The transmitter covers the base while the bottom portion faces the base. The sensing member is coupled to the transmitter. The sealing unit is used to seal paths through which a liquid possibly penetrates into an interior of the physiological signal monitoring device so as to avoid damage of the device.

Physiological signal monitoring device

An insertion device includes a cover body and an insertion module. The insertion module is disposed in the cover body, and includes a main body, an insertion seat, a pre-compressed first elastic member, a retraction seat and a pre-compressed second elastic member. The restoring force of the pre-compressed first elastic member is configured not to act on the cover body during depression of the cover body.

Insertion device for a biosensor and insertion method thereof

An insertion device includes a cover body, an insertion module. The insertion module is disposed in the cover body, and includes a main body, an insertion seat, a first elastic member, a retraction seat and a second elastic member. When the cover body is depressed, the insertion seat is driven by the first elastic member to perform an automatic-insertion operation and to collapse a limiting structure between the insertion seat and the cover body. A limiting structure between the insertion seat and the retraction seat collapses upon the collapse of the limiting structure between the insertion seat and the cover body, so that the retraction seat is driven by the second elastic member to perform an automatic-retraction operation.

An insertion device includes an upper casing, a lower casing and an insertion module. When the lower casing is coupled to the upper casing, an abutment portion of the lower casing limits movement of a casing engaging structure of the upper casing, such that the upper casing cannot move downwardly so as to prevent unintentional insertion operation of the insertion device.

Insertion device for a biosensor

An insertion device includes an upper casing, an insertion module and a lower casing. The insertion module is disposed in the upper casing, and includes a main body assembly, an insertion seat, a first elastic member, a retraction seat and a second elastic member. When the upper casing is depressed, the insertion seat is driven by the first elastic member to perform an automatic-insertion operation, such that limiting structure between the insertion seat and the retraction seat collapses upon the collapse of another limiting structure between the insertion seat and the main body assembly, and that the retraction seat is driven by the second elastic member to perform an automatic-retraction operation.

A physiological signal monitoring device includes a base including a base body that has a bottom plate and an opening, a biosensor mounted to the base, and a transmitter removably mounted to the base body. The base further includes a first coupling structure disposed on a top surface of the bottom plate, and the transmitter includes a second coupling structure coupled to the first coupling structure when the transmitter is mounted to the base body. When the first and second coupling structures are coupled to each other, they are disposed to be distal from a periphery cooperatively defined by the base and the transmitter. They are uncoupled from each other when an external force is applied through the opening of the base body to separate the transmitter from the base.

A method for assembling a physiological signal monitoring apparatus on a body surface of a living body is provided, wherein the physiological signal monitoring apparatus is used to measure a physiological signal and includes a sensor module and a transmitter. The method comprises steps of: (a) detaching the bottom cover from the housing to expose the sticker from the bottom opening; (b) while holding the housing, causing the adhesive pad to be attached to the body surface; (c) applying a pressing force on the housing to cause the sensor module to be detached from the implantation module and the signal sensing end to be implanted under the body surface; (d) removing the implanting device while leaving the sensor module on the body surface; and (e) placing the transmitter on the base so that the signal output end is electrically connected to the port.

Method for assembling a physiological signal monitoring device

A physiological signal monitoring device includes a base, a biosensor mounted to the base and adapted to measure an analytical substance, and a transmitter. The base includes a flexible base body and a first coupling structure. The first coupling structure is disposed on the bottom plate. The transmitter is removably mounted to the base body, and includes a bottom casing and a second coupling structure. The first and second coupling structures are coupled to each other when the transmitter is mounted to the base body, and are uncoupled from each other by the flexibility of the base body when an external force is applied on a periphery of the base body. The first and second coupling structures are disposed to be distal from a periphery cooperatively defined by the base and the transmitter when the first and second coupling structures are coupled to each other.
