An image ranging system has a light source module having a light source diode and a light source lens, and an image sensing module, placed near the light source, having an image sensing device and an image sensing lens. An optical signal emitted from the light source diode passes through the light source lens with a luminous intensity profile which is characterized by intensity Iand then reaches an object. A reflection signal is generated by the object. The relationship between the intensity Iand the emission angle &#x3b8; of the optical signal is I=1/cos&#x3b8;. The reflection signal into the image source lens has an incident angle &#x3b8; the same as the emission angle of the optical signal, and images the object onto the image sensing device. The ratio of the height of object image to the effective focal length of image sensing lens is proportional to sin &#x3b8;.

Image ranging system, light source module and image sensing module

An optical measuring device includes a case, a reflective layer and a light collecting lens module. A measuring chamber and a channel, which is connected to the measuring chamber and is connected to an opening of the case, reside in the case. The reflective layer is disposed onto an inner surface of the measuring chamber. The light collecting lens module is located inside the channel. A light beam emits into the channel of the optical measuring device through an opening, passes through the light collecting lens module and enters the measuring chamber afterward.

An image processing method and a system are provided. The image processing method of moving camera comprises the following steps. An image of a road is captured by a first camera unit. A coordinate of the image of an object shown in the image of the road is captured when the image of the object shown in the image of the road is selected. At least an aiming angle of a second camera unit is adjusted according to the coordinate to make the field-of-view of the second camera unit aligned with the object. The image of the object is captured by the second camera unit. The image of the object is enlarged.

Image processing method and system

A zoom lens driving apparatus achieves the object of driving multiple lens groups by a single motor and low production cost. When a first lens group, which includes a first lens, moves along guide rods, a leading cam of a leading member drives a leading pin of a follower, so that the follower moves a guide pin, and moves a second lens group, which includes a second lens, along the guide rods. The relative distance between the first lens group and the second lens group is controlled by the leading cam.

Zoom lens driving apparatus

A 10&times; ratio wide-angle zoom lens includes several lens sets which is made of several lenses with different focal lengths. It has a first lens set with a positive dioptre, a second lens set with a negative dioptre, a third lens set with a positive dioptre, and a fourth lens set with a positive dioptre. The second lens set further contains two lenses with negative dioptres and one lens with a positive dioptre. The lens with a positive dioptre has a non-spherical surface on the object side. The lens with a negative dioptre closer to the lens with a positive dioptre is cemented to the positive-dioptre lens. The fourth lens set contains a lens with a negative dioptre and two non-spherical surfaces. The wide-angle zoom lens moves the second and the fourth lens set along its optical axis to adjust its zoom and moves the fourth lens set to focus.

An improved zoom lens constitutes a plurality of lens groups of different focal length. Through adjusting the position of the lens groups, different zooming ratio may be obtained. Higher image resolution and lower cost may also be achieved through using different lens material. Zoom lens

A Venetian blind lifting mechanism is composed of a slat set, a winding member, a slat winding cord, and a locating member. The slat set has a plurality of slats. The winding member has at least one cord pulling member and at least one spring releasing unit which is linked with the cord pulling member. The cord pulling member has one end which is extended through the slat set, and other end which is fastened with the cord pulling member. The locating member has a retaining member capable of bringing about a retaining force to overcome the rewinding force of the winding member so as to stabilize the cord pulling member.

A Venetian blind is provided with a slat-lifting mechanism consisting of a slat set, a slat pull cord, and a constant torque pull set. The slat set has a plurality of slats. The slat pull cord is connected with each of the slats of the slat set and is put through the bottommost end of the slat set. The constant torque pull set is disposed at the top end of the slat set and composed of a pull cord member and a constant torque spring unit which is linked with the pull cord member and provided with a constant torque spring which has a constant retrieving force enabling the pull cord member to rewind. The constant retrieving force of the constant torque spring must meet the condition of W-Fs&lt;R&lt;W+Fs, in which W stands for a total weight of the slat set; Fs, a system static friction force; and R, a retrievable elastic force of the constant torque spring.

Disclosed herein is an improved zoom lens fixing mechanism comprising a fixing sleeve, a cam sleeve, a front lens holder, a rear lens holder, a back cover, and four rollers, in which the fixing sleeve has a cam slot and three long slots and the cam sleeve has a long slot and three cam slots. The front lens holder has three screw holes and the rear lens holder has one screw hole. During the assembling, or fixing, of the improved zoom lens of the present invention, the rollers are first affixed into respective screw holes. The rollers affixed to the front lens holder are placed into the long slots on the fixing sleeve and the cam slots on the cam sleeve, which also sleeves around the fixing sleeve. Whereas, the roller affixed to the rear lens holder is placed into the cam slot on the fixing sleeve and the long slot on the cam sleeve. All the cam slots and the long slots are connected to recesses in the form of notches or slot openings which extend to a longitudinal end of either the fixing sleeve or the cam sleeve to receive the rollers. The back cover has four pins to be inserted into the recesses to prevent the rollers from falling out of the slots.

Zoom lens fixing mechanism

An improved mechanism for cameras includes a solenoid which drives a cam ring to rotate to a control position for focusing or exposing; a motor drives a planetary gear set which includes a swing arm with a pinion fixed thereon. When the cam ring is in the control position for focusing, the pinion transmits the power generated by the motor to the teeth of the focusing ring to cause the focusing ring to rotate and focus. When the cam ring is in the control position of exposing, the pinion disengages from the teeth of the focusing ring to engage with the internal gear of the planetary gear set to cause the swing arm to oscillate and thereby actuate the shutter mechanism. At this time, the cam ring also initiates the movement of a ratchet set so that the focusing ring cannot move freely during the exposure process.
