Disclosed are a duplex document copying system and a method thereof applied to a manual operation for a document. A scanning device is connected to a processing device. The processing device stores one or more block pixel thresholds. After the scanning device obtains first scanning data and second scanning data from scanning the document, the processing device compares pixel difference information between the first scanning data and the second scanning data with the one or more block pixel thresholds to calculate a similarity between the first scanning data and the second scanning data so as to avoid repeated scans. In this way, it avoids the manual errors and outputting the repeatedly scanned document, thereby improving overall work efficiency and saving resources.

Duplex document copying system and method thereof

An electronic device and a document processing system both with cost saving function are disclosed. The electronic device performs a blank page counting process on a received first document file data containing blank pages, in order to generate cost information of non-blank pages and display it for reference. With the above electronic device, it is able to save the cost of outputting blank pages and avoid waste of paper to achieve the purpose of cost saving. The document processing system includes the above electronic device, which is connected to the document processing system via a network.

An image processing device comprises a receiving port, a processor and an output port. The receiving port receives old image data from a peripheral device. The old image data has partial positioning mark data corresponding to a portion of a positioning mark of a document, and partial main image data corresponding to a partial main image of a portion of a main image of the document. The processor electrically connected to the receiving port shifts the partial main image by a calibration distance in a calibration direction to a standard position of a typesetting page according to the partial positioning mark data and the partial main image data, and adds a predetermined image to one side or neighboring two sides of the partial main image to generate new image data. The output port electrically connected to the processor outputs the new image data. Copy apparatus and method are also provided.

A method for reproducing images comprises the steps of: obtaining 1to Nscan images in order, where N is a positive integer greater than 2; processing the 1to Nscan images into 1to Ndocument images and obtaining sizes of the 1to Ndocument images; and performing an ordered document typesetting according to an ordered accumulated size of the 1to Ndocument images to generate image data corresponding to one or multiple output pages. An image-processing apparatus is also provided. Thus, it is possible to prevent the waste of printing a small-size document image on a large-size sheet, and the user can obtain the order of documents according to the order of the output pages. So, an instinctive and environment protective copying technical solution can be provided, and an output result can be further adjusted.
