An example connector assembly includes a cage, a first liquid cooling tray, a second liquid cooling tray, and a pressuring spring. The cage includes a frame and partitioning walls. The frame and the partitioning walls define an insertion space. The first liquid cooling tray is provided to a top of the cage, with a lower surface of the first liquid cooling tray constituting an upper wall surface of the insertion space. The second liquid cooling tray is provided to a bottom of the cage, with an upper surface of the second liquid cooling tray constituting a lower wall surface of the insertion space. The pressuring spring is positioned within the insertion space.

Cooling tray connector assembly

An example connector assembly includes a guide shielding cage with a cage body and an upper heat sink bracket. The cage body includes upper window. A lower wall of the upper heat sink bracket is formed with a window corresponding to the upper window. The connector assembly also includes an upper heat sink module including a heat dissipating member. The heat dissipating member is capable of moving between a releasing position which is higher and an acting position which is lower relative to the upper insertion space. The cage body further includes fixing pieces positioned at two sides of the top wall and extend upwardly. The lower wall of the upper heat sink bracket engages with the fixing pieces of the cage body, and the upper heat sink bracket further comprises a latching piece which extends from the lower wall and latches into the top wall of the cage body.

Connector assembly with movable heat sink

A connector assembly is disclosed to include a shielding cage and a receptacle connector. The shielding cage forms at least one insertion space and a front end port communicatively coupled to the insertion space, the insertion space is defined by a top wall, a bottom wall and two side walls which cooperate with each other. The receptacle connector is provided to a rear segment of the shielding cage and includes a receptacle housing. The shielding cage further includes at least one stopping piece and at least one support stopping block which extend into the insertion space, the support stopping block is interposed between the stopping piece and the receptacle housing and supports the stopping piece. In another manner, the shielding cage may include a withdrawing stop portion and a rear stopping piece, the withdrawing stop portion is used to limit the receptacle housing to displace rearwardly, the rear stopping piece is used to stop the receptacle housing from behind the receptacle housing.

A connector assembly is provided and includes a guide shielding cage and a heat sink module. The guide shielding cage has at least one insertion space positioned inside. The heat sink module includes a heat dissipating member, a pressure applying elastic member, a lever member and a supporting elastic member. The heat dissipating member has a thermal coupling portion formed downwardly, the lever member is pivoted to the guide shielding cage, the lever member has a pushed end and a pressure applying end, the supporting elastic member upwardly and elastically supports the heat dissipating member. The heat dissipating member is capable of moving between a releasing position which is higher relative to the insertion space and an acting position which is lower relative to the insertion space and where the thermal coupling portion enters into the insertion space.

A connector assembly includes cages arranged as an upper cage and a lower cage in an up-down direction, a receptacle connector, a first liquid cooling tray and a second liquid cooling tray. Each cage includes a frame and a plurality of partitioning walls provided to the frame, and the frame and the plurality of partitioning walls together define a plurality of insertion space arranged transversely. The first liquid cooling tray is provided to a top portion of the upper cage and constitutes an upper wall surface of each of the plurality of insertion space of the upper cage. The second liquid cooling tray is provided between the upper cage and the lower cage, constitutes a lower wall surface of each of the plurality of insertion spaces of the upper cage, and constitutes an upper wall surface of each of the plurality of insertion space of the lower cage. A pressuring spring corresponding to each insertion space of the upper cage is provided on the upper surface of the second liquid cooling tray, and a pressuring spring corresponding to each insertion space of the lower cage is provided on the bottom plate.

The internal biasing heat sink is provided in the partitioning bracket and has an internal heat dissipating member, the internal heat dissipating member enters into the lower receiving space via the lower window. The two lateral heat dissipating members are respectively positioned outside the two side walls of the cage body, the two lateral heat dissipating members and the internal heat dissipating member are connected with each other by means of connecting structures which respectively pass through the side windows, the two lateral heat dissipating members is capable of moving with the internal heat dissipating member along the up-down direction.

Shielded connector assembly with improved thermal management

A connector assembly including a shielding cage and a liquid cooling cabin. The shielding cage has an insertion space and a window in communication with the insertion space. The liquid cooling cabin is configured to allow a cooling liquid to circulate and flow inside, the liquid cooling cabin comprises a shell having an opening, a thermal coupling cover provided at the opening of the shell, and an elastic sealing unit sealing a gap between the thermal coupling cover and the shell, the thermal coupling cover having a thermal coupling plate entering into the insertion space via the window of the shielding cage, the thermal coupling plate being capable of elastically moving in a direction close to the shell and elastically restoring in a direction away from the shell by a function of the elastic sealing unit.

A connector assembly includes a receptacle connector, a shielding cage and a partitioning element. The shielding cage has a receiving cavity.
