A detection device adapted to a connector is provided herein. The connecter includes a first pin and a second pin, and the first pin and the second pin are physically separated and coupled to a first power respectively. The detection device includes a first transistor, a first resistor, a second transistor, and a bias circuit. The first transistor is coupled between the first pin and the first power. The first resistor is coupled between a gate terminal of the first transistor and the first power. A detection signal is generated at the gate terminal of the first transistor. The second transistor is coupled between the gate terminal of the first transistor and a second power. The bias circuit is coupled between a gate terminal of the second transistor and the first pin.

A charging method for an electronic device having a charging unit and a connection interface unit and the electronic device are provided. The connection interface unit is externally connected to a peripheral device. The charging method includes: detecting a signal level between the charging unit and the connection interface unit; and when a time period that the detected signal level keeps on a particular level is over a threshold, resetting the connection interface unit, so as to restart a charging function of the electronic device for the peripheral device.

A fan module including a first fan, a second fan and an actuator is provided. The first fan has a first pivot portion and a plurality of first fan blades. Each first fan blade has a first blade face. The second fan has a second pivot portion and a plurality of second fan blades corresponding to the first fan blades. Each second fan blade has a second blade face. The second pivot portion is slidably disposed at a containing cavity of the first pivot portion. The actuator is adapted to drive the first fan to rotate. The first fan is adapted to drive the second fan to rotate. When the second pivot portion protrudes out of the containing cavity, a part of each of the second blade faces does not overlap with the corresponding first blade face along a direction perpendicular to the corresponding first blade face.

Universal serial bus chargers and charging management methods thereof are provided. The universal serial bus charger includes a control unit, a charger module, a universal serial bus interface device, and a switch device. The control unit receives a power management signal and provides a switching signal and a charging signal according to the power management signal. The charger module outputs power and a power suspending signal according to the charging signal and a communications protocol signal, respectively. The universal serial bus interface device operates according to the power, and outputs the communications protocol signal according to a universal serial bus peripheral device connected thereto. The switch device is coupled between the charger module and the universal serial bus interface device, and receives the power. Furthermore, the switch device provides the power to the universal serial bus interface device according to the switching signal.
