A mobile device attachment adapted for a mobile device and a container for food or liquid is provided. The mobile device attachment includes a magnetic connecting member and a connecting member. The magnetic connecting member is selectively magnetically connected to the mobile device and adapted to extend in an escaping direction. The connecting member is disposed between the container and the magnetic connecting member. The mobile device has an image capturing range. When the magnetic connecting member extends in the escaping direction, the container, the magnetic connecting member and the connecting member are located outside the image capturing range. Besides, a container including the mobile device attachment is also provided.

The invention introduces an apparatus for handling flash physical-resource sets, at least including a random access memory (RAM), a processing unit and an address conversion circuit. The RAM includes multiple segments of temporary space and each segment thereof stores variables associated with a specific flash physical-resource set. The processing unit accesses user data of a flash physical-resource set when executing program code of a Flash Translation Layer (FTL). The address conversion circuit receives a memory address issued from the FTL, converts the memory address into a relative address of one segment of temporary space associated with the flash physical-resource set and outputs the relative address to the RAM for accessing a variable of the associated segment of temporary space.

Apparatus and method and computer program product for handling flash physical-resource sets

A memory device includes a non-volatile (NV) memory including a plurality of NV memory elements. A method for performing programming management of the NV memory includes: setting a programming sequence of the NV memory elements; determining a selection interval between each of the NV memory elements according to the programming sequence and a serial number of each of the NV memory elements; for a target NV memory element of the plurality of NV memory elements in the programming sequence, determining a serial number of an immediately previous NV memory element in the programming sequence according to the selection interval and a serial number of the target NV memory element; determining whether the immediately previous NV memory element is in a busy state; and only when the immediately previous NV memory element is not in the busy state, programming the target NV memory element.

Method, associated memory device and controller thereof for performing programming management

Mapping information management for data storage devices is provided. A controller caches write data issued by a host in a temporary storage and then programs the cached write data from the temporary storage to a non-volatile memory. The controller uses a mapping information format to manage mapping information of logical addresses recognized by the host. As presented in the mapping information format, the values not greater than a first threshold value and mapped to the configuration information storage space of the non-volatile memory are at least partially used to point to the temporary storage, and the values greater than the first threshold value are mapped to the non-volatile memory.

Mapping information management for data storage. A mapping information format without any uncorrectable flag bits (UNC bits) is shown. A controller provides a cyclic redundancy check (CRC) engine. In response to an uncorrectable marking command issued by a host, the controller operates the cyclic redundancy check engine to encode a data pattern with a biased encoding seed to generate biased cyclic redundancy check code. The controller programs the data pattern and the biased cyclic redundancy check code to the non-volatile memory. The data pattern, therefore, will not pass CRC. The uncorrectable marking command works.

A method for performing read acceleration, an associated data storage device and controller thereof are provided, where the method is applicable to the data storage device and the controller. The method includes: receiving a write command from a host device, and performing programming on a non-volatile (NV) memory element within a plurality of NV memory elements according to the write command; recording operation command-related information corresponding to the write command; when a read command having high priority exists in a queue corresponding to the NV memory element, suspending performing programming on the NV memory element; executing the read command; and after executing the read command, continuing performing programming on the NV memory element at least according to the operation command-related information.

The invention introduces a method for multi-namespace data access, performed by a controller, at least including: obtaining a host write command from a host, which includes user data and metadata associated with one Logical Block Address (LBA) or more; and programming the user data and the metadata into a user-data part and a metadata part of a segment of a Logical Unit Number (LUN), respectively, wherein a length of the metadata part is the maximum metadata length of a plurality of LBA formats that the controller supports.

A controller allocates spare blocks of a non-volatile memory to provide a first active block and writes data issued by a host to the first active block. When the number of spare blocks is less than a threshold number and valid data of a first source block is less than a critical data amount, the controller uses the first active block as a data transfer destination for the valid data from the first source block.

Data storage device and control method for non-volatile memory

A method for performing programming management, associated memory device and a controller thereof are provided. The memory device may include a non-volatile (NV) memory, and the NV memory may include a plurality of NV memory elements. The method may include: before programming a target NV memory element of the plurality of NV memory elements, checking whether another NV memory element of the plurality of NV memory elements is in a busy state or in a non-busy state; and when the other NV memory element enters the non-busy state, programming the target NV memory element.

A data storage device is provided. The data storage device includes: a flash memory, a dynamic random access memory (DRAM), and a memory controller. The flash memory stores a logical-to-physical mapping (L2P) table that is divided into a plurality of group-mapping tables. The memory controller receives a host command from a host, wherein the host command includes one or more pieces of data and one or more corresponding logical addresses. The memory controller writes the data of the host command into active blocks of the flash memory. In response to the memory controller changing the active blocks into unsaved data blocks and a number of the unsaved data blocks being greater than or equal to an unsaved data block count threshold, the memory controller segmentally updates mapping relationships of the data in the unsaved data blocks, and writes the updated group-mapping tables into the flash memory.

High-efficiency control technology for non-volatile memory. A controller allocates spare blocks of a non-volatile memory to provide an active block and writes data issued by a host to the active block. The controller further uses the active block as the destination for data transferred from a first source block when there are fewer spare blocks than the threshold amount. When a second source block meets the transfer requirements, the controller uses the active block as the destination for data transferred from the second source block.

Data storage device and control method for non-volatile memory, with shared active block for writing commands and internal data collection

The invention introduces a method for caching and reading data to be programmed into a storage unit, performed by a processing unit, including at least the following steps. A write command for programming at least a data page into a first address is received from a master device via an access interface. It is determined whether a block of data to be programmed has been collected, where the block contains a specified number of pages. The data page is stored in a DRAM (Dynamic Random Access Memory) and cache information is updated to indicate that the data page has not been programmed into the storage unit, and to also indicate the location of the DRAM caching the data page when the block of data to be programmed has not been collected.

A memory device receiving a host instruction generated by a host includes a flash memory array and a controller. The controller translates the host instruction into operation instructions, queues the operation instructions in a major command queue, and performs an operation on the flash memory array according to the operation instructions. When an error occurs during execution of the operation commands, the controller performs an error-handling process, queues operation commands related to the error-handling process in an auxiliary command queue, sequentially executes the operation commands in the auxiliary command queue, and stops executing the major command queue.

The disclosure provides a loudspeaker apparatus and a method of driving the acoustic transducers by predicting and compensating a physical phenomenon of acoustic pressure changes within an enclosure caused by at least one of the acoustic transducers. The loudspeaker apparatus includes an enclosure having an inner space, a first acoustic transducer, a second acoustic transducer, and a controller. The first and second acoustic transducers are mounted on the enclosure and share the same inner space of the enclosure, such as sound bar and the likes.
