An optical low-noise block down-converter for a satellite television system is disclosed. The optical low-noise block down-converter includes a first down-conversion module coupled to a satellite antenna of the satellite television system for converting a vertically polarized signal received by the satellite antenna into a first intermediate frequency signal, a second down-conversion module coupled to the satellite antenna for converting a horizontally polarized signal received by the satellite antenna into a second intermediate frequency signal, and a third down-conversion module having a first input terminal coupled between the satellite antenna and a first down-converter of the first down-conversion module and a second input terminal coupled between the satellite antenna and a second down-converter of the second down-conversion module for draining out part of the vertically polarized signal and the horizontally polarized signal to combine and convert into a legacy electrical signal.

Low-noise block down-converter and satellite television system

An optical LNB capable of fast position-adjusting is employed in an LNBF. The optical LNB includes a down-converting device coupled to an OMT of the LNBF for down-converting a polarized signal for generating a first intermediate frequency signal, a branching device for branching the first intermediate frequency signal for generating a second and a third intermediate frequency signals, an electrical/optical converting device coupled to the branching device for converting the second intermediate frequency signal into an optical signal, and a power end for receiving power from a power supply and outputting the third intermediate frequency signal.

Optical LNB capable of fast position-adjusting

A high isolation power divider is disclosed, which includes a substrate, a first split arm, a second split arm, a signal input unit, a connection unit, a ground layer, a slit. The signal input unit is coupled to the first split arm and the second split arm for receiving an input signal and dividing the input signal to the first split arm and second split arm. The connection unit is coupled to the first split arm and the second split arm, wherein the connection unit, the first split arm, and the second split arm are deposited on a first plane of the substrate, and surround a first area. The ground layer is deposited on the second plane of the substrate for providing grounding. The slit is formed in the ground layer, wherein at least a part of the slit is formed within a second area corresponding to the first area.

A low-noise block downconverter includes a first down-converting circuit for down-converting and filtering a first polarization signal for outputting a first intermediate-frequency signal, a second down-converting circuit for down-converting and filtering a second polarization signal for outputting a second intermediate-frequency signal, wherein a frequency band of the first intermediate-frequency signal is the same as that of the second intermediate-frequency signal, an oscillator for generating an oscillating signal, outputted to the first down-converting circuit and the second down-converting circuit, a first optical transmitter coupled to the first down-converting circuit for converting the first intermediate-frequency signal into a first optical signal, and a second optical transmitter coupled to the second down-converting circuit for converting the second intermediate-frequency signal into a second optical signal.

Optical low-noise block downconverter, multiple dwelling unit, and related satellite television system

A band-pass filter includes an input port, an output port, and a plurality of resonators. The input port is utilized for receiving a radio frequency signal. The output port is utilized for outputting a filtered signal. The plurality of resonators are placed between the input port and the output port, and are utilized for band-pass filtering the radio frequency signal for generating the filtered signal, wherein the plurality of resonators comprise at least two different trace widths for matching the output impedance of the band-pass filter with the input impedance of a rear-stage circuit coupled to the output port.
