A method for cardiovascular monitoring and analytics may include obtaining an electrical signal of a heart. The method may also include obtaining a circulatory signal related to a pulsatile volume of blood in tissue. The method may also include preprocessing the electrical signal and the circulatory signal. The method may further include training a mapping using the preprocessed electrical signal and circulatory signal. In addition, the method may include deriving cardiovascular data based on the trained mapping of the preprocessed electrical signal or circulatory signal.

Electrocardiogram waveform reconstruction from photoplethysmogram

Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for contact-free heart rate monitoring and/or measurement are provided. One method may include receiving video(s) that include visual frame(s) of individual(s) performing exercises, detecting some exposed skin from the video(s), and performing motion compensation to generate color signals for the exposed skin to precisely align frames of the exposed skin. The method may also include generating the color signals by estimating a skin color for each frame by taking a spatial average over pixels of a cheek of the face(s) for R, G, and B channels, respectively, applying an operation to remove remaining motion traces from the frames such that the heart rate traces dominate, and extracting and/or outputting the heart rate of the individuals using a frequency estimator of the skin color signals.

Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for tracking weak signal traces under severe noise and/or distortions. A method may include tracking at least one candidate frequency trace from a time-frequency representation of a signal. The method may also include identifying a frequency trace of the signal based on tracking results. In addition, the method may include outputting an estimated frequency vector related to the frequency trace. Further, the tracking may be performed under a noisy condition environment.

Methods and apparatuses for implementing adaptive multi-trace carving to track signal traces

Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for contact-free heart rate monitoring and/or measurement are provided. One method may include receiving video(s) that include visual frame(s) of individual s) performing exercises, detecting some exposed skin from the video(s), and performing motion compensation to generate color signals for the exposed skin to precisely align frames of the exposed skin. The method may also include generating the color signals by estimating a skin color for each frame by taking a spatial average over pixels of a cheek of the face(s) for R, G, and B channels, respectively, applying an operation to remove remaining motion traces from the frames such that the heart rate traces dominate, and extracting and/or outputting the heart rate of the individuals using a frequency estimator of the skin color signals.

Method, apparatus and systems for object tracking are disclosed. In one example, a system for tracking a plurality of objects in a venue is disclosed. The system comprises a transmitter configured for transmitting a series of probe signals in a broadcasting manner through a wireless multipath channel, wherein the wireless multipath channel is impacted by a movement of at least one of the plurality of objects in the venue; and a plurality of heterogeneous target wireless receivers each of which is associated with an object of the plurality of objects in the venue. Each of the plurality of heterogeneous target wireless receivers is configured for: receiving the series of probe signals through the wireless multipath channel between the heterogeneous target wireless receiver and the transmitter, obtaining at least one time series of channel information (TSCI) of the wireless multipath channel based on the series of probe signals received by the heterogeneous target wireless receiver, and tracking the object associated with the heterogeneous target wireless receiver based on the at least one TSCI.

Method, apparatus, and system for object tracking sensing using broadcasting

Methods, apparatus and systems for detecting and monitoring vital signs and other periodic motions of an object are disclosed. In one example, a system for monitoring object motion in a venue is disclosed. The system comprises a transmitter, a receiver, and a vital sign estimator. The transmitter is located at a first position in the venue and configured for transmitting a wireless signal through a wireless multipath channel impacted by a pseudo-periodic motion of an object in the venue. The receiver is located at a second position in the venue and configured for: receiving the wireless signal through the wireless multipath channel impacted by the pseudo-periodic motion of the object in the venue, and obtaining at least one time series of channel information (TSCI) of the wireless multipath channel based on the wireless signal. The vital sign estimator is configured for: determining that at least one portion of the at least one TSCI in a current sliding time window is associated with the pseudo-periodic motion of the object in the venue, and computing a current characteristics related to the pseudo-periodic motion of the object in the current sliding time window based on at least one of: the at least one portion of the at least one TSCI in the current sliding time window, at least one portion of the at least one TSCI in a past sliding time window, and a past characteristics related to the pseudo-periodic motion of the object in the past sliding time window.

Method, apparatus, server and system for vital sign detection and monitoring

Various authentication systems may benefit from detection of counterfeits. More particularly, certain authentication systems may benefit from a counterfeit detection scheme applicable to paper surfaces that can employ mobile cameras, such as the cameras associated with mobile phones. A method, according to certain embodiments, can include illuminating a surface of an item with a lighting source of a device. The method can also include capturing a plurality of images of the surface by a camera of the device during the illumination of the surface. The method can further include authenticating the item based on the plurality of images.

Methods, apparatus and systems for detecting and monitoring vital signs in real time are disclosed. In one example, a system for monitoring a repeating motion in a venue is disclosed. The system comprises a transmitter, a receiver, and a repeating motion monitor. Apparatus, systems and methods for detecting and monitoring fall-down actions and other transient motions are disclosed. In one example, a system for monitoring a transient motion in a venue is disclosed. The system comprises a transmitter, a receiver, and a transient motion monitor. The transmitter is located at a first position in the venue for transmitting a wireless signal through a wireless multipath channel impacted by the transient motion of an object in the venue. The receiver is located at a second position in the venue for: receiving the wireless signal through the wireless multipath channel, and obtaining a time series of channel information (CI) of the wireless multipath channel based on the wireless signal. Apparatus, systems and methods for fall-down detection based on a wireless signal

Apparatus, systems and methods for recognizing and classifying events in a venue based on a wireless signal are disclosed. In one example, a disclosed system comprises a first transmitter, a second transmitter, at least one first receiver, at least one second receiver, and an event recognition engine, in the venue. The first transmitter transmits a training wireless signal through a wireless multipath channel impacted by a known event in the venue in a training time period associated with the known event. Each first receiver receives asynchronously the training wireless signal, and obtains, asynchronously based on the training wireless signal, at least one time series of training channel information of the wireless multipath channel between the first receiver and the first transmitter. The second transmitter transmits a current wireless signal through the wireless multipath channel impacted by a current event in a current time period associated with the current event. Each second receiver receives asynchronously the current wireless signal, and obtains, asynchronously based on the current wireless signal, at least one time series of current channel information of the wireless multipath channel between the second receiver and the second transmitter. The event recognition engine trains a classifier based on the training channel information; and apples the classifier to: classify the current channel information and associate the current event with at least one of: a known event, an unknown event and another event.

Apparatus, systems and methods for event recognition based on a wireless signal

Method, apparatus and systems for object tracking are disclosed. In one example, a disclosed method includes obtaining at least one time series of channel information (CI) of a wireless multipath channel using: a processor, a memory communicatively coupled with the processor and a set of instructions stored in the memory. The at least one time series of channel information is extracted from a wireless signal transmitted between a Type 1 heterogeneous wireless device at a first position in a venue and a Type 2 heterogeneous wireless device at a second position in the venue through the wireless multipath channel. The wireless multipath channel is impacted by a current movement of an object in the venue. The method also includes determining a spatial-temporal information of the object based on at least one of: the at least one time series of channel information, a time parameter associated with the current movement, and a past spatial-temporal information of the object. The at least one time series of channel information is preprocessed. Associated computation may be shared among the processor, the Type 1 heterogeneous wireless device and the Type 2 heterogeneous wireless device.
