A system and method for evaluating cardiovascular performance in real time and characterized by conversion of a surface potential into multi-channels are introduced. The system includes an electrocardiographic signal measuring unit, a reconstruction unit, and a parameter computation and assessment unit. The reconstruction unit reconstructs electrocardiographic signals (ECG signals) recorded by the electrocardiographic signal measuring unit, such that the ECG signals are reconstructed as ones located at different spatial positions but actually not having a channel. The method includes calculating a variation manifested spatially during an interval between a Q wave and a T wave of an ECG signal against time with a parameter computation and assessment algorithm, to evaluate its discreteness degree and thereby diagnose cardiovascular diseases (CVD) and locate lesions thereof.

System and method for evaluating cardiovascular performance in real time and characterized by conversion of surface potential into multi-channels

A method of examining cardiac electromagnetic activity over a heart for diagnosing the cardiac functions of the heart is disclosed. The method includes collecting a plurality of sets of spatially distributed, time-varying magnetic field signals of the heart of a subject, wherein the magnetic field signals exhibit features of at least a wave, identifying a time corresponding to a local maximum intensity of the magnetic field signals of the wave at each measurement position and plotting a temporal evolution of the local maximum intensity of the magnetic field signals during a time interval of the wave.

Method of examining dynamic cardiac electromagnetic activity and detection of cardiac functions using results thereof

A method of examining cardiac electromagnetic activity over a heart for diagnosing the cardiac functions of the heart is disclosed. The method may include constructing a phase diagram of electromagnetic signals over a heart by collecting sets of time-dependent magnetic signals, determining the zeroth and the first derivations of each set of the magnetic signals at a given time, and categorizing the zeroth and the first derivations of the magnetic signals in either of the four phases: (+, +), (&#x2212;, &#x2212;), (+, &#x2212;), (&#x2212;, +). The method may also include monitoring a wave propagation of the magnetic signals.

The present invention is directed to methods for quantitatively measuring biomolecules by using magnetic nanoparticles. Through the use of the magnetic nanoparticles and the bioprobes coated to the magnetic nanoparticles, the biomolecules conjugated with the bioprobes result in the formation of particle clusters. By measuring the changes in magnetic properties resulting from the existence of the bio-targets, the amount of the bio-targets in a sample to be tested can be measured.

Methods of quantitatively measuring biomolecules

A sensor system of a surface plasmon resonance (SPR) for analyzing a characteristic of a substance and the measuring method thereof are provided. The system includes an optical device for generating a first light beam and a second light beam in sequence; a sensor device for respectively generating a first plasmon wave and a second plasmon wave in response to an optical characteristic change of the first light beam and the second light beam with respective to the substance, in which a resonance is generated from the first plasmon wave and the second plasmon wave respectively generating a first reflective signal and a second reflective signal; and a measuring device for measuring spectra of the first reflective signal and the second reflective signal and obtaining the measured value which is substituted into an operational formula to calculate a reference value used for analyzing the characteristic of the substance.
