The present specification discloses a motor assembly. An embodiment of the motor assembly disclosed in the present specification may comprise: a motor housing in which a motor is received; a shaft which forms the rotation axis of the motor; a rotor which is coupled to the shaft; a plurality of cores and coils which are provided along the circumference of the rotor to form a flux path; and insulators which are coupled to the cores to insulate the cores from the coils, wherein each of the insulators may comprise an insulating portion which covers the outer surface of the corresponding core and a fixing portion which protrudes outward from the insulating portion in the radial direction of the rotor, and the fixing portion may be coupled to the inner circumferential surface of the motor housing.

Motor assembly

A motor assembly includes a motor housing having a shaft, a rotor coupled to the shaft, multiple core assemblies along the circumference of the rotor to form a magnetic path, and a first bearing housing supporting one side of the shaft, a housing cover coupled to the motor housing, an impeller installed on the shaft, a diffuser coupled to the housing cover between the impeller and the rotor, and a shroud containing the impeller and the diffuser. The multiple core assemblies are contained independently and spaced apart from each other along the circumference of the rotor. The housing cover includes a second bearing housing supporting the other side of the shaft. The motor housing includes core support portions for supporting the multiple core assemblies independently, and a first bridge extending from the core support portions to connect the core support portions and the first bearing housing.

Fan motor assembly with stator core supports

A motor assembly includes a shaft configured to form a rotational axis of a motor, a rotor coupled to the shaft, and a plurality of cores provided along the circumference of the rotor and configured to form a magnetic path. The cores are spaced apart from the outer circumferential surface of the rotor by a predetermined distance and configured to surround at least a portion of the outer circumferential surface of the rotor, and each comprise: a pole shoe having a first surface parallel to the radial direction of the rotor; and a pole arm extending from the pole shoe toward the radially outer side of the rotor. Among the plurality of cores, the first surfaces formed on the pole shoes of adjacent cores are symmetrical with respect to the radial direction of the rotor.

Motor assembly having a plurality of cores

The present disclosure relates to a power converting device and a home appliance including the same. A power converting device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure comprises a first capacitor, a first switching element turned on to output a first voltage stored in the first capacitor to a first node which is one end of an inductive load, a second switching element, one end of which is connected to the first switching element and which is turned on to decrease the voltage of the first node to the first voltage, a third switching element turned on to output a second voltage greater than the first voltage to the first node which is one end of the inductive load, and a fourth switching element, one end of which is connected to the third switching element and which is turned on to decrease the voltage of the first node to the ground voltage. Accordingly, switching loss may be reduced when power is supplied to an inductive load.

Power converting device and home appliance including the same

The present disclosure relates to a motor assembly, and more particularly, to a motor having a two-phase input power source and a power conversion device for driving a two-phase motor. The present disclosure relates to the motor assembly for driving the two-phase motor, the motor assembly configured to comprise: a motor including a first winding and a second winding having an electrically insulated parallel structure; a DC-link circuit for supplying a direct-current voltage; and an inverter connected to the DC-link circuit to convert the direct-current voltage into an alternating-current voltage to drive the motor, and including a first switching element set connected to the first winding and a second switching element set connected to the second winding.

Two-phase motor assembly

Disclosed is a clothes treatment apparatus. The clothes treatment apparatus of the present disclosure may comprise: a cabinet; a drum rotatably provided in the cabinet; an induction heater which is disposed outside the drum and heats the drum; a magnet which is fixed to the drum and of which a residual magnetic flux density changes depending on temperature; and a coil fixed to the outside of the drum and disposed at a position overlapping the magnet in the longitudinal direction of the central axis of rotation of the drum.

Clothes treatment apparatus

The present disclosure provides a control method for automatically detecting what kind of nozzle is a nozzle mounted on a cleaner by using different starting current profiles. The cleaner may include a suction unit for suctioning dust, and various nozzles which are detachable from the suction unit. The nozzle may include a rotation cleaning unit which is accommodated in the nozzle to clean a surface to be cleaned, and a nozzle driving unit for driving the rotation cleaning unit. The nozzle may exhibit different starting current profiles depending on the number of rotations or reduction ratio of the nozzle driving unit, or whether an auxiliary control unit is included.

Method for controlling cleaner

The present disclosure provides a control method capable of, by using a current value of a nozzle, determining whether a nozzle is separated from a vacuum cleaner and whether the nozzle is reconnected to the vacuum cleaner after separation. To this end, a vacuum cleaner may comprise a nozzle connectable to a suction unit for suctioning dusts. The nozzle may comprise a rotary cleaning unit for applying pressure to a cleaning target surface so as to separate a foreign substance therefrom, and a nozzle motor for driving the rotary cleaning unit. In order to drive the nozzle, a voltage having been controlled by a pulse width modulation (PWM) method is applied, and a measurement unit included in the vacuum cleaner may measure a current value of the nozzle, the current value depending on the applied voltage.

Vacuum cleaner control method

A device for driving a plurality of motors, including an inverter connected to a DC terminal; a multi-phase motor connected to the inverter; and a single-phase motor serially connected to the multi-phase motor, wherein a number of frequency of current input to the multi-phase motor when driving the single-phase motor and the multi-phase motor at the same speed is smaller than the number of frequency of current input to the multi-phase motor when driving the single-phase motor and the multi-phase motor at different speeds. Accordingly, a plurality of motors can be simultaneously driven at different speeds, by using a single inverter.

Device for driving a plurality of motors and electric apparatus including the same

A motor driving device controls a three-phase motor and a single-phase motor to operate in parallel. The motor driving device includes a dc terminal in which an upper and a lower DC-link capacitor are located. The motor driving device also includes a neutral terminal disposed between the upper and lower DC-link capacitors. The motor driving device includes an inverter that includes three pairs of upper switching elements and lower switching elements. Two pairs of upper switching elements and lower switching elements among three pairs are connected to an a-phase terminal and a b-phase terminal of the three-phase motor, respectively. The other pair of upper switching elements and lower switching elements among three pairs is connected to a first terminal of the single-phase motor. The neutral terminal is connected to a second terminal of the single-phase motor. A c-phase terminal of the three-phase motor is connected to the single-phase motor.

Motor driving device including single inverter for single-phase motor and three-phase motor and appliance having the same

A device for driving a plurality of motors and an electric apparatus having the same is disclosed. The device includes an inverter connected to a DC terminal, a multi-phase motor connected to the inverter, a single-phase motor serially connected to the multi-phase motor, and a first capacitor and a second capacitor connected in series between a first end and a second end of the DC terminal, wherein the single-phase motor is connected to the multi-phase motor, and a node between the first capacitor and the second capacitor. Accordingly, a plurality of motors serially connected with each other can be driven by using a single inverter.

A device for driving a plurality of motors and an electric apparatus includes a first and a second capacitor, an inverter connected to a DC terminal, a multi-phase motor connected to the inverter, a single-phase motor serially connected with the multi-phase motor, and a controller configured to control the inverter. For starting the single phase motor during operation of the multi-phase motor, the controller is configured to perform, during an alignment period, an alignment of a rotor of the single-phase motor and perform, during a voltage compensation period, a voltage compensation for compensating a voltage change of a DC terminal neutral point between the first capacitor and the second capacitor based on the alignment of the rotor of the single-phase motor.

A motor driving device controls a three-phase motor and a single-phase motor to operate in parallel. The motor driving device includes a dc terminal in which an upper and a lower DC-link capacitor are located. The motor driving device also includes a neutral terminal disposed between the upper and lower DC-link capacitors. The motor driving device includes an inverter that includes three pairs of upper switching elements and lower switching elements. A washing machine includes a main body defining an outer appearance, a tub disposed within the main body, a main drum rotatably mounted in the tub, a sub drum mounted in the main drum to be relatively rotatable with respect to the main drum, an outer shaft for rotating the main drum, an inner shaft for rotating the sub drum, being disposed inside the outer shaft, and a driving motor having a stator, an outer rotor connected to the inner shaft that is rotatable outside the stator, and an inner rotor connected to the outer shaft that is rotatable inside the stator, wherein the driving motor independently drives the main drum and the sub drum.
