A system and method for verifying and managing claims involving three-dimensional (3D) print structures and components thereof is disclosed. The system employs a verification model that is trained to detect whether a given structure includes a 3D printed portion, as well as the type of 3D print mixture used and/or its manufacturer. This information can be used to reduce the likelihood of fraud by insured persons following damage to their insured structures. In some embodiments, the information can also be used to determine whether a subrogation clause should be triggered, and the 3D print replacement part be requested for printing from the manufacturer. In another example, the damaged 3D printed part can be printed by a local service partner in or near the region where the damaged structure is located, and installation performed by a trusted contractor.

System and method for verifying 3D printed structural damage claims

A secure container for transport of pharmaceuticals includes an onboard computing system, sensor devices, and tamper response mechanisms. The container can collect geodata to determine when it is in range of a target destination for a recipient. The recipient will be permitted to request access to the contents of the container only when the container is in designated range. In addition, if the container detects a tamper event where force is applied in order to open the container, a tamper response can be triggered that releases a neutralization agent and causes any chemical compounds held in the container to become inert.

A method and system of intelligently deploying a drone above a vehicle in order to signal and alert emergency responders. The vehicle includes a compartment in which the drone is stowed until specific conditions are detected by the vehicle's onboard computing system. When a collision, breakdown, or other emergency event is detected, the onboard computing system causes the drone to be released from the compartment and move into a position above the vehicle. Sensors for the drone collect data that can be used by the onboard computing system to generate instructions for the drone to maintain a generally constant position relative to the vehicle and ensure responders can accurately pinpoint the location of any injured passengers. The drone can include lights and audio that can increase the likelihood of the beacon being noticed.

A system may include one or more detectors configured to generate detector data based on signals received from one or more tags integrated in or disposed on one or more items. The system may include a processor configured to: receive the detector data; determine a first set of identification information corresponding to a first item of the one or more items based on the detector data; receive a list of tagged items for a first location, and the list of tagged items comprises a second set of identification information corresponding to the one or more items; identify a theft incident for the first item based on a comparison of the first and second sets of identification information; automatically send a notification relating to the theft incident to one or more devices; and determine one or more insurance policy decisions for the first item based on the theft incident.

Systems and methods for continuously monitoring items

A computing system acquires a plurality of gig-income models for a plurality of gig-workers, and each of the plurality of gig-income models includes a corresponding expected income for a respective gig-worker of the plurality of gig-workers over a period of time. The computing system identifies groups of gig-workers to join an income float pool based on the gig-income models of the gig-workers. The computing system transfers funds into or out from an account associated with a gig-worker in the income float pool in response to detecting, from one or more data sources, a difference between an actual income and an expected income of the gig-worker during an additional period of time. Thus, the gig-worker receives a relatively stable income.
