According to a first aspect, the invention relates to a method for controlling the navigation system of a carrier (P) receiving signals from a plurality of transmitters (T-T) and capable of measuring a pseudo-distance to each transmitter, wherein the elevation of each of the transmitters (T-T) is controlled relative to the horizontal (H) of the carrier (P), and a navigation solution is developed from the pseudo-distances (Pd-a) for which the elevation of the corresponding transmitter is higher than a minimum elevation (Em), characterized in that it comprises carrying out a discrimination of the multiple routes from the pseudo-distances (formula I) measured for the transmitters (T) having an elevation lower than the minimum elevation (Em), and further retaining, during the development of the navigation solution, the pseudo-distances (Pd-ad) authorized after said discrimination. The invention also relates to a navigation system capable of implementing the method according to the first aspect of the invention.

Method and system for detecting multiple paths in a system of satellite navigation

A method of managing additional filters in a navigation system fitted to a vehicle, the system acting, during a journey of the vehicle, to deliver at least one position of the vehicle by using a main filter for merging data coming from a constellation of visible satellites present above a vehicle horizon, each additional filter excluding data coming from one of the satellites in order to obtain a corrected position in the event of failure of the excluded satellite. The steps including from a position of the vehicle, determining a theoretical constellation of satellites present above the horizon; and for each satellite present in the theoretical constellation, creating and maintaining an additional filter excluding that satellite.

Method of managing additional filters in a satellite navigaiton system

A method of locating a moving element by determining a reference position and at least one overall protection limit on the basis of data from a group of satellites in a constellation of satellites. The method comprises the steps of selecting from the group of satellites a subgroup comprising at least five satellites, calculating positions from the data from the group and from the data from the subgroup, and calculating corresponding protection limits while distinguishing whether the failure in the constellation does or does not affect the satellites under consideration.

Method of locating a vehicle from satellite data

The invention relates to a method and device for photolithography by extreme ultraviolet radiation, using a source resulting from the excitation of plasma by several lasers. The object which is to be photoengraved is displaced behind an irradiation window. The radiation is comprised of N successive current impulses whose surface energy is measured. In particular, each laser emits a quantum of energy having a given duration at each outset. The surface energy of the radiation received by the object in the course of the last N&#x2212;1 pulses is thus added up for an niteration of an iterative method. The photosensitive object is displaced from a distance equal to a fraction 1/N of the width of the irradiation window according to the axis of said translation. The above-mentioned sum is subtracted from the amount of total energy required for the photoengraving method. The remaining amount of energy to be provided in order to achieve the total amount of energy and from there, the remaining pulse quanta number to be produced for an npulse is determined by selecting more particularly the corresponding number of laser sources to be turned on. The lasers thus selected are then triggered in order to deliver a pulse.
