Disclosed herein are various embodiments for a media device upgrading system with a native user interface. An embodiment operates by displaying a native user interface of a media device configured to operate in both a normal mode without an upgrader device and an upgrader mode when an upgrader device is connected to an input port of the media device. It is determined that the upgrader device is connected a command is received via the native user interface. It is determined that the command operates a software component, and the command is provided to the upgrader device. A response to executing the command is received from the upgrader device, and a response is displayed on the native user interface.

Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for a media device upgrading system. An embodiment operates by receiving a command at a media device that includes an upgrader device connected via or plugged into an input port of the media device. It is determined that the command is associated with modifying a software component of the media device, wherein both the media device and the upgrader device include operating systems configured to process the command and modify the software component. The command is provided to the upgrader device based on a determination that the media device is in an upgrader mode of operation. A visual indication corresponding to the modification is provided.

Media device upgrading system

System, method, and computer product embodiments for controlling a display device's display settings from a computing device's touch-based user interface are described. In an embodiment, the computing device establishes a wireless connectivity with the display device. The computing device sends a command generated to query information related to the display setting. Then, the computing device receives the queried information from the display device. The computing device configures a graphical user interface (GUI) with the queried information to display configurations of the display settings on the touchscreen. The configurations include the display settings currently configured in the display device. The computing device further enables, within GUI, a displayed configuration from the display configurations to be calibrated by one or more touch gestures on the touchscreen.

It has been discovered that high amplitude, low frequency, broadband spectrum pressure oscillations of sufficient time duration can help stabilize lung volumes and improve gas exchange in a patient receiving ventilation assistance by helping to recruit and stabilize alveoli. A novel device is presented which can produce pressure oscillations having high amplitudes, a low broad-band frequency spectrum and long time duration. Additionally, the device can maintain a patient's mean airway pressure at one or more controlled levels. The device can control the oscillatory amplitude, frequency range and composition, time duration, and mean airway pressure levels by adjusting certain device parameters, such as the angle and depth of the device in a fluid. A device and mechanical system for remotely adjusting and measuring the angle of the device in a fluid are also disclosed. Furthermore, a device and system are disclosed that can deliver pressure oscillations having high amplitudes, a low broad-band frequency spectrum, long time duration, and multiple mean airway inspiratory and expiratory pressure levels. The device and system also provide means for controlling respiration timing in a patient, including: breaths per minute, inspiratory time, and the ratio of inspiratory to expiratory time.

A form tie made of an expanded metal material extends between the sidewalls of a concrete form. A web traverses the sidewalls and includes, at the opposed ends of the web, first and second parallel flange walls with a supplemental web wall extending therebetween. A return wall extends from the end of the second flange wall. The use of the flange walls, supplemental webs and return walls stiffens the resulting tie so as to preclude sidewall displacement upon a static load thereon. The same elements resist longitudinal and lateral shifting of the tie and attached sidewalls during concrete pouring. The maintenance of the sidewalls by the tie during static and dynamic load conditions allow for easy form connection as well as prevents buckling and/or 'blow out' of the forms during concrete pouring.

A concrete form tie comprises a pair of laterally displaced sidewall support assemblies with a reinforcing web extending therebetween. The support assemblies bite into the exterior sidewall surfaces as positioned thereat by the web transversely extending between the support assemblies. The web comprises a pair of brackets as formed by a support strut extending through a notch at the top of the form sidewall with a hanger element depending therefrom. A bridge extends between the depending hangers and across a vertical cavity formed between the sidewalls. The tie resists pressures acting on the sidewalls to preclude blow out along the horizontal joints of form courses as well as lateral displacement of the sidewalls. A starter tie is disclosed for respectively securing the lower end of the first course of sidewalls to a footing. A finish tie is disclosed for maintaining the displacement of the sidewalls of the top course of forms.

Concrete forming system with brace ties

Apparatus and methods for making uniformly-sized and predictably-spaced droplets from high-temperature liquids. Liquid droplet generators having electromechanical driving elements are coupled to a power supply to apply pulsed excitation forces through a wall of a delivery tube to a high-temperature liquid, e.g., a liquid metal, epoxy, or polymer. The excitation forces generated by the driver induce capillary vibrations in the liquid within the delivery tube. Liquid jet streams having capillary vibrations when exiting an orifice break up into groups of substantially uniformly-sized liquid droplets shortly after leaving the orifice. Droplets may be produced in a uniformly-spaced series, or individually on demand in response to a single burst of force from the driving element. A heat source is also thermally coupled to the delivery tube to maintain the liquid in a high-temperature state. Embodiments using heat-sensitive elements thermally insulate those elements from the wall of the heated delivery tube and may also actively cool the elements by one or more heat exchangers. A magnetohydrodynamic embodiment couples a magnetic field, having spaced points of maximum intensity, to a fluid stream exiting an orifice, causing the stream to break into droplets in response to the periodic magnetic field.

A collapsible container for carrying flowable materials includes a bag made of a plurality of layers of rubber-coated fabric and at least one lift assembly for lifting the container onto or out of a transport vehicle such as a railcar, truck or the like. The lift assembly is attached to straps or cords vulcanized into the plurality of layers of rubber-coated fabric. These straps or cords distribute the weight of the flowable materials within the container to other parts of the container, thereby providing the container with a suitable lifting capability.

An attachment for the three-point hitch of a farm tractor including a generally vertically disposed, inverted U-shaped frame having outwardly extending lower ends connected to a pair of lower lift arms forming part of the three-point hitch of the tractor. The top portion of the frame is pivotally and longitudinally adjustably connected to a telescopically adjustable stabilizer link or bar having its forward end pivotally connected to the usual attachment point of the stabilizer link of a three-point hitch assembly provided on a farm tractor. The outer end of the stabilizer bar includes a transverse sleeve by which various devices including a round hay bale moving device can be pivotally attached. The upper surface of the longitudinally movable component of the telescopic stabilizer bar is provided with a rigid lug to which a hydraulic ram can be pivotally connected with the other end of the hydraulic ram being connected pivotally to the hay moving device or other device attached to the outer end of the stabilizer bar.

A rotary control signal generating device, such as a resolver, which comprises an internal stator including a magnetic system having first and second ring-shaped pole pieces with generally cylindrical, axially spaced, outwardly facing first and second pole surfaces. These pole surfaces are generally concentric with respect to a central axis and have the same outer diameter. The two pole pieces each include a given number of equally spaced coil receiving slots with axially spaced pole pieces aligned to form sets of circumferentially spaced slots. The stator includes a multiturn or primary exciter winding between the two pole pieces and wound concentric with the axis, whereby an AC voltage magnetizes the pole pieces. The stator further includes two offset sensing windings on the same pole pieces and in the axially aligned sets of slots. The resolver includes an external rotor with a high permeability flux concentrating ring having an inwardly facing, cylindrical surface concentric with the axis and spaced slightly outward in a radial direction from the first and second pole surfaces. The inwardly facing surface of the flux concentrating ring is axially skewed a distance correlated with the given axial spacing between the two pole surfaces whereby, while a first portion of the ring is across from the first pole surface, a circumferentially spaced second portion of the ring is across from the second pole surface. Further, the two spaced sensing windings have a unique winding configuration such that leads thereof correct the error curve of individual resolvers.

Rotatable control signal generator

A rotary actuator for converting reciprocating motion to rotary motion including a housing having spaced-apart end plates connected by guide rods. A bellows is provided having opposite sides one of which is connected to one of the end plates, the bellows being adapted to be connected to a source of fluid under pressure so that the bellows expands from a collapsed to an expanded position. A guide plate is provided movably mounted on the guide rods with the other bellows side being connected thereto. A rack and pinion assembly is provided mounted on the other end plate, the rack being connected to the guide plate so that expansion and contraction of the bellows causes linear movement of the rack thereby imparting rotary movement to the pinion. A spring acts between the guide plate and the other end plate thus resisting expansion of the bellows and returning it to the collapsed position upon the release of fluid pressure. Adjustable stops are provided for limiting rotational movement of the pinion between predetermined first and second angularly spaced positions.
