A protective case includes a first shell member and a second shell member connected generally in a clam shell manner. Each shell includes a centrally disposed rigid portion. Each shell member further includes a first flexible portion, which extends from a first side of the rigid portion to adjacent the first side wall boundary of the case, so as to form a portion of the top wall boundary and the bottom wall boundary of the case. A second flexible portion also extends from the second side of the rigid portion to adjacent the second side wall boundary of the case. A zipper is disposed along the top wall boundary and extends from the first side wall boundary to the second side wall boundary. The zipper operatively connects the rigid portion and the flexible portions of the first shell member to the respective corresponding rigid portion and first and second flexible portions of the second shell member.

Protective case including rigid shell members

A headset cable retraction system and device is described, the system including a housing, the housing having a cavity. In addition, the system includes a cord capable of transmitting an electrical signal, wherein a portion of the cord is contained in the cavity. The system further includes an earpiece attached to the cord; and, a retracting mechanism in the housing, the retracting mechanism including a drive wheel, a spring coupled to the drive wheel and a idler wheel, the cord being pressed between the drive wheel and the idler wheel; wherein when the cord is extracted from the cavity, the spring becomes tensioned. A method for using the system and device is also described.

Headset cable retraction system

A pet shelter includes a bottom member having an edge, a top member having an edge, and a medial member disposed between the top and bottom members. The medial member has a top edge and a bottom edge. The pet shelter includes a lock for selectively interconnecting the bottom member to the bottom edge of the medial member and a lock for selectively interconnecting the top member to the top edge of the medial member. The lock includes a tab disposed in the bottom edge of the medial member and a tab disposed in the edge of the top member. The bottom member includes an aperture for receiving the medial member tab to thereby selectively lock the bottom member to the medial member. The medial member includes an aperture for receiving the top member tab to thereby selectively lock the top member to the medial member.
