A float tree for suspending floats within a basin system includes a rod portion, a cap section, movably affixed to the rod portion, and a spring provided between the cap section and the rod section. The spring provides force against the rod portion and the cap section. A first and second cap can be included to seat the spring between the cap section and the rod portion within the float tree.

Spring-loaded float tree and float tree assembly

A water-powered sump pump including a chamber with a water supply inlet, wastewater inlet and a discharge outlet, wherein a venturi is secured within the chamber, and an elbow joint, including a wastewater exit portion and a wastewater entrance portions. This elbow joint is rotationally securable to the wastewater inlet of the chamber to permit securing of the water-powered sump pump in any desired orientation in relation to the sump. In one embodiment the wastewater inlet includes a cylindrical ingress portion with an upwardly facing ridge around a circumference thereof. The securing system of the elbow joint includes tabs on an inner surface of the exit portion of the elbow, each tab containing an inwardly extending rib which rib extends beyond the upwardly facing ridge on the ingress portion of the wastewater inlet when the elbow joint is secured onto the wastewater inlet.

Water-powered sump pump

A reversible grinder pump with cutter plate and cutter blade, wherein the cutter plate is attached to an inlet of the reversible grinder pump and is located adjacent to the cutter blade, wherein the cutter plate includes pairs of angled openings, wherein each of the pair of angled openings extends through the cutter plate and has a shape which is a mirror image of the other angled opening of the pair of angled openings, when viewed from above a surface of the cutter plate. The cutter blade of the reversible grinder pump contains a pair of triangular cross section, prism-shaped cutting edges, which are congruent to each other and reflective, extending in opposite directions from each other.

Reversing grinder pump

A grinder pump basin system is provided which includes a basin; a cover plate; a bracket secured to the cover plate; and a grinder pump with cutter plate with openings and a cutter blade secured to the bracket above a bottom surface of the basin. The openings in the cutter plate have an unique shape which assists in the cutting of material which flows through an inlet of a grinder pump. The shape of the cutter blade cooperates with the openings in the cutter plate such that solids are forced between these respective components and thereby are efficiently cut into small pieces for passing through the openings and for discharge from the grinder pump basin system.

Grinder pump basin system

A grinder pump basin system is provided which includes a basin; a cover plate; a bracket secured to the cover plate; and a grinder pump with cutter plate with openings and a cutter blade secured to the bracket above a bottom surface of the basin. The bracket includes a front portion, which prevents waste water from interacting adversely with the grinder pump when it enters the basin. A discharge system for the grinder pump is secured to an outlet of the grinder pump and includes a discharge pipe and a flexible discharge coupling. Flow directional jets are also provided in an elbow of the pump discharge system to direct waste water and solids away from the grinder pump.

A pump is provided including a cutter plate disposed at a pump inlet including a plurality of holes. Multiple embodiments provide that the pump includes a rotatable cutter blade disposed substantially adjacent to the cutter plate. Embodiments include those wherein the plurality of holes are angled in a direction of rotation of the cutter blade. In some embodiments, the cutter blade has at least one relief hole and at least one cutting edge. Additional embodiments include those wherein a ring extends outward from the pump inlet for channeling material toward the pump inlet in a substantially perpendicular approach with respect to the cutter plate.
