A quantitative imaging system () for automating delivery of a radiopharmaceutical and imaging a patient. The system () includes a QI controller () that controls the operation of the system. The system () includes a producer () for creating a radiopharmaceutical and a synthesizer () to synthesize the radioisotope with a biologically compatible material to form the radiopharmaceutical. The system () includes a dosimeter () to measure and timestamp the concentration measurement of the radiopharmaceutical and an injector () to deliver the radiopharmaceutical into the patient. The system () includes an imaging apparatus () to image the patient. The QI controller () uses the timestamp of the concentration and decay characteristics to adjust imaging data. The system includes aquantitative analyzer () to calculate parametric images and quantitative values from the collected data.

A medical imaging system comprises one or more displays. A viewer device generates an interactive user interface screen on the display, which viewer device enables a user to simultaneously inspect selected image data of multiple patients or multiple images. A layout editor generates a layout editor user interface in the user interface screen, which layout editor device enables the user to create and/or modify a layout of the selected image data on the display.

An image display method comprises: color coding a second image respective to an intensity spectrum with a portion or portions of the intensity spectrum set to be transparent to generate a color coded second image; combining a first image and the color coded second image to generate a fused image; and displaying the fused image. An image display system comprises: an image generating module configured to generate an image by color coding an input image in accordance with a colormap assigning colors to intensities of an intensity spectrum; a colormap modifying module configured to select a portion of the intensity spectrum to be transparent; and a display configured to display the generated image.
