A method and system provide the ability to manage objects across multiple independent projects. A graphically descriptive design representation of a master project for an engineering system architecture model is generated and displayed. The model consists of the multiple independent projects with each project owning a set of data that is arranged as a hierarchy of nodes that each represents an object of the set of data. Links between nodes define a dependency relationship between the objects represented. A request to reference data is received. A determination is made regarding whether the request is consistent with the master project representation. The request is allowed or rejected depending on the determination.

Overarching relationship manager and editor for scaling complex architecture representations

A frac plug system for use at the end of well drill string in a fractured underground formation, including an elongated mandrel body, a nose cone, a mandrel head, and a sealing assembly; at least one sensor positioned on the nose cone, the sensor being optionally a temperature sensor, pressure sensor, pH sensor, or fluid composition sensor; a battery operated microcontroller located in the mandrel body, the microcontroller constructed and arranged to periodically read the data output of the sensor and store the data from the sensor; a transmitter constructed and arranged to transmit the stored data from the set of sensors to a receiver on a pup joint when the receiver is in receiving range of said transmitter, the receiver constructed and arranged to write the transmitted stored data to an electronic memory; and whereby the data may be retrieved from the electronic memory.

Smart frac plug system and method

A method of correlating data for multiple product configurations is provided comprising enhancing, by a processor, data set definition to accommodate data models of data sets describing multiple product configurations. The method also comprises comparing, by the processor, values of the data sets utilizing at least one matching algorithm and effectivity expressions identifying relevant rows for comparison in the data sets. The method also comprises enhancing, by the processor, the at least one matching algorithm to identify perfect and partial matches between the data sets wherein values of all data contained in the data sets are compared in one single operation comprising simultaneous validation of engineering data for the multiple product configurations.

Correlation of maximum configuration data sets

The different advantageous embodiments provide a method for loading and editing text files. A text file is identified as input. A determination is made as to whether the text file is a columnar text file. If the text file is columnar, data information is retrieved for the text file. Pre-defined cache settings are identified. A determination is made as to whether the data information retrieved fits within the pre-defined cache settings. If the data information retrieved fits within the pre-defined cache settings, a determination is made as to whether the first row of the text file is a header row in a view. If the first row of the text file is not a header row, the text file is normalized. A view mode is selected for load and edit operations of the text file.

A method for visually verifying an implementation of a design is described. The method includes integrating logical design data, physical design data, and physical implementation data into a common data format and graphically displaying the commonly formatted data to provide a visualization of the design, the visualization including a spatial context component associated with the physical implementation data.

Methods and systems for wiring systems analysis and verification

A module for a display screen that includes a plurality of evenly spaced fiber optic light sources along the face of a matrix block having a non-reflecting face. The face of the block has a plurality of generally right conical projections. An optical fiber extends substantially axially through each projection with the fiber end projecting beyond the apex. Slant height lines of the conical projections are curved, so that the sides of the projections are slightly concave or convex, to scatter incident light toward adjacent projections where the light is absorbed. Typically the bases of the conical projections can be hexagonal, with the edges of the block shaped so that a plurality of blocks can be aligned to produce an array of blocks with the projections substantially uniformly spaced across the array. In order to increase the sideways spread of light emitted by the optical fiber ends, the fiber ends are grooved.

Module for a non-reflective fiber optic display screen

A fiber optic display screen for use in high ambient light environments. A source of high intensity light is provided the output of which is controlled by a light gate control. The light gate control comprises a plurality of individual light shutters which pass or obstruct light from the high intensity light. Each of the plurality of light shutters includes an optic fiber which extends from the shutter output to an area remote therefrom where the distal ends of the fibers are terminated along the same vertical plane with each of the optic fibers positioned in the same relative location as the shutter end. Light passing through individual shutters of the plurality of shutters is displayed at the same location at the distal ends thereof. By selectively operating specific shutters to allow light from the high intensity light to pass through the optic fibers intelligent information can be formed at the distal ends of the plurality of optic fibers. This information can be readily seen under high ambient light conditions.
