A computer-implemented method for executing parsed commands includes receiving an area selection in a first user interface on an electronic device. The method receiving a first portion of a command entry in the first user interface. The method translating the first portion of the command entry into a first portion of computer readable text format. The method parsing the first portion of computer readable text format for keywords, wherein the keywords correspond to actions executed in a first application. Responsive to determining the first portion of computer readable text format matches a first action, the method executing the first action in the first application, wherein the first action is directed towards the area selection.

Parsing and executing commands on a user interface running two applications simultaneously for selecting an object in a first application and then executing an action in a second application to manipulate the selected object in the first application

Examples are disclosed for responding to voice commands within an existing telephony call between two or more end user communication devices mediated by an IP based communications server. The server is mediating a telephony call among the two or more end user communication devices where each end user communication device has its own communication link to the server. The server may detect a trigger event from one of the end user communication devices. Upon detecting the trigger event, the server may receive voice input over the communication link from the end user communication device that generated the trigger event. The received voice input may be parsed into one or more voice commands. The server may then cause the one or more voice commands to be executed. In other embodiments, much of the intelligence and processing may be carried out on the end user communication device directly.

Methods, products, apparatuses, and systems may manage a threat condition. A plurality of triggers may be identified over a period of time. Each of the triggers may be associated with a threat risk value. An accumulation value may be determined based on an aggregation of each threat risk value over the period of time. A set of progressive threshold values associated with a set of progressive threat conditions may be defined. A threat condition from the set of threat conditions may be established for the device based on the accumulation value. The threat condition may be managed, for example by defining an operational mode for the device, in response to the threat condition.

An embodiment of the invention provides a system and method for managing computing resources, wherein a data analyzer analyzes communications from electronic devices to identify a common topic among the communications in a predetermined area. In at least one embodiment, only communications that have been created within a predetermined time period are analyzed. A processor connected to said data analyzer generates a title based on the common topic. A communications module connected to the processor sends an electronic message to a user, wherein the electronic message includes the title and the predetermined area. In at least one embodiment, the title and the predetermined area are displayed on a graphical user interface.

A virtual machine management method and system is provided. The method includes receiving by a computing system, a list of virtual machines deployed within an enterprise. The computing system determines that a specified time period has elapsed during deployment and a list of resources and transactions associated with the virtual machines is retrieved. The computing system calculates a cost value and service value for deploying the virtual machines and a premium value associated with the services. The computing system determines if the premium value is within a policy for the enterprise.

A protocol to enable management of opaque entities in a computing environment comprises an events component and a commands component. The events component enables a manager to utilize a received event communicated by a corresponding managed entity to indicate when administration or other management actions have occurred to domain information on the corresponding managed entity. The commands component interacts with the managed entities in response to the events component receiving corresponding events there from. The commands component further comprises commands for backing up the domain information stored by the managed entities as opaque configuration objects, for restoring the domain information to the managed entities as opaque configuration objects and for querying an identified one of the plurality of managed entities to determine whether two domain configurations are semantically different in a way that allows the configuration to remain opaque to the manager.
