Disclosed are various embodiments for courier management. For example, in one embodiment, a courier application is executed on a mobile computing device to retrieve a list of stops associated with a courier from a computing device over a network. The list of stops includes a plurality of orders to be delivered, wherein a customer location is associated with each order. The courier application generates user interfaces to facilitate a confirmation that items associated with orders have been delivered, to facilitate an input of a review of the performance of the courier, and to perform other functions.

Various embodiments of a system and method and apparatus for determining a grouping of containers, assigning a visually distinctive indicator to the group, directing application of the visually distinctive indicator to the containers of the group are disclosed. The visually distinctive indicators of containers of a group may be analyzed manually or automatically and a message may be issued for containers that are determined to not be members of the group based on the dominant visually distinctive indicators of the group. The distinctive characteristics of the visually distinctive indicators may be colors, patterns or the like.

Disclosed are various embodiments for the identification and assignment of classifications for items. One of a plurality of classifications are identified in at least one computing device based at least in part on a plurality of tokens associated with the item and a data dictionary. An identified classification is thereby produced, and the identified classification is associated with a confidence score. The identified classification is automatically assigned to the item when the confidence score meets a threshold. A manual confirmation of the identified classification is obtained when the confidence score is below the threshold. The manual confirmation indicates whether the identified classification is erroneous.

Various embodiments of a system and method for scheduled delivery of shipments with multiple shipment carriers are described. Various embodiments may include a scheduled delivery component configured to receive delivery availability information for multiple shipment carriers. In various embodiments, for each shipment carrier, delivery availability information may specify one or more delivery periods during which that shipment carrier is available to deliver shipments of one or more items to designated locations. This delivery availability information may be utilized to generate a scheduled delivery tool that enables users to select a particular delivery period during which an item is to be delivered. The scheduled delivery tool may provide multiple selectable delivery periods based on the delivery availability information of multiple shipment carriers. The scheduled delivery component may determine that a particular delivery period has been selected and generate a delivery instruction based on such selection.
