An incise drape suitable for use in surgical procedures. The drape comprises a substantially transparent flexible film that has at least a portion of one major surface coated or covered with a pressure sensitive adhesive, and a two liners removably covering the adhesive. Each liner has a handle spaced from the opposite side edges of the film, and a body portion attached to the handle. The body portion of each liner extends along the adhesive from handle in the direction away from the other liner. The drape is repeatedly folded over from the opposite side edges of the film toward the handles so that the drape may be unfolded and the adhesive exposed by pulling the handles apart.

Surgical incise drape

A sheet drape is folded first in one direction into a multilayer strip of material and then in the orthogonal direction into a stack with a first end of the multilayer length located on top of the stack and the second end located within the stack. The drape is unfolded by pulling the first end of the multilayer length in a first direction, to reveal the second end; pulling the second end in the second, opposite, direction (thereby returning to the form of the multilayer strip); and then opening the folds of the multilayer strip.

Drape sheets for use in surgical procedures

The present invention provides a tube and cable restraint having: an attachment strip of flexible material having on its underside a coating of adhesive suitable for adhering to a surface; a holding strip of flexible material having a fixed end, a repositionable end and a bridging section between the fixed end and the repositionable end comprising a bridging strip; an adhesive layer between the bottom surface of said holding strip and the top surface of said attachment strip at least at each end of said restraint; and a finger tab. The present invention also provides surgical drapes and gowns with tube and cable restraints attached thereto.

Refastenable tube and cable restraint for surgical use

A surgical drape and a method of simultaneously forming a drape blank of a surgical drape in a single operation having both a screen portion and a fitted portion. A first continuous web forming a body portion of a surgical drape is advanced along a first longitudinal axis to a cutting and bonding location. A second web having first and second long edges generally parallel to a second longitudinal axis is located so that the first long edge of the second web is adjacent to the cutting and bonding location. A curvilinear seam is formed between the first and second webs along a path extending into the second web. The path generally originates and terminates at the intersection of the first long side of the second web and the first and second long edges of the first continuous web, respectively. The seam is cut generally along the path so that a first portion of the second web forms a fitted portion with the body portion of a first surgical drape in the series of surgical drapes. A second portion of the second web forms a screen portion attached to the body portion of a second surgical drape in the series of surgical drapes.

Method for making a surgical drape

A package comprised of a first wall member adhered to a second wall member to form a storage zone with the first wall member having a window surrounded by border portions. The window and border portions are covered with a peelable flap member which protects the border portion after sterilization of the package so that an article placed within the package can be removed in a sterile condition.
