A mill with capability for rapid replacement of wearable moving components and capacity for precision grinding movement. The wearable moving components form a package of dual counter-rotating rotor centrifugal devices, the packages including first and second motors ( ), counter-rotating first and second rotors ( ) driven by the first and second motors, respectively, a hollow shaft ( ) connecting the first to the first rotor, and a solid shaft ( ) connecting the second motor to the second rotor, the solid shaft running inside the hollow shaft.

Mill with quick change, unitized, dynamic elements

A coal processing mill incorporates integral systems for coarse coal dewatering, grinding, injection of a peptizing agent into the ground coal stream before it enters an agitation zone (where the peptization process takes place), passing the treated coal and the peptized clay and ash through a separating valve and passing the separated coal on to final drying. In other embodiments, ash and pyrites (of much higher density than coal) are separated from coal and the coal can then be fired.

Coal grinding, cleaning and drying processor

Integrated first stage and second stage reduction mechanisms reduce coal, minerals, biomass, and other materials. A portion of the reductive work is done in the first stage by passing centrally fed feed material centrifugally from rotating rings to counter-rotating rings with destructive effects. The resulting material, significantly reduced in size, subsequently is stripped of oversize in the second stage by passing through a closely spaced and specially contoured final pair of annular rings or crushing elements between which particles larger than the limited space are crushed.

Two-stage micronizer for reducing oversize particles

A portable frame supports a mechanism for cutting pipes of various sizes. The pipe can also be grooved or bevelled at the same time. Initially a cutter cuts through a portion of a held, non-rotating pipe. Thereafter the pipe is rotated, or rolled, about its axic to permit the cutter to pass through the remaining portion of the cross section of the pipe to be cut. A single revolution of the pipe accomplishes the cutting thereof. Grooving or bevelling tools can be used simultaneously with the cutter to effect the grooving or bevelling of the pipe.
