Various example embodiments described herein relate to a method for synchronizing liquid crystal display (LCD) screens. In some examples, the method includes establishing, by a first device comprising a processor, a master/slave relationship with one or more other devices; determining, by the first device, a frequency associated with turning on a first LCD screen on the first device; and sending, by the first device, a signal to each of the one or more other devices, wherein the signal comprises an instruction to turn on an LCD screen on each receiving device at a same time as the first LCD screen.

Charging/recharging systems and charge status indicators are provided. In one implementation, a charge status indicator includes a charge sensing device configured to sense the charge of a rechargeable power supply. The charge status indicator further includes a detection device configured to compare the sensed charge with a plurality of predetermined levels in order to determine one of a plurality of capacity ranges of the rechargeable power supply. The charge status indicator also includes a first light emitting diode (LED), a second LED, and a switching circuit configured to switch the first and second LEDs on and off using a plurality of predefined illumination patterns to indicate the capacity range of the rechargeable power supply.

Apparatuses, systems, and methods of manufacturing are described that provide improved tag identification. An example system includes a radio-frequency identification (RFID) scanner that receives a stream of RFID tags each associated with a respective article. The system further includes a first sensor attached to the RFID scanner that generates first positional data and a second sensor positioned separate from the first sensor that generates second positional data. The system also includes a computing device communicably coupled with the RFID scanner, the first sensor, and the second sensor. The computing device receives the stream of RFID tags, receives first positional data from the first sensor, receives second positional data from the second sensor, and determines an intended RFID tag from amongst the stream of RFID tags based upon the first positional data and the second positional data.

Various embodiments described herein illustrate a glove that includes an anterior portion and a posterior portion. The anterior portion is knitted seamlessly with the posterior portion to define a metacarpal region and a plurality of finger regions extending out from the metacarpal region. A first conductive pad is knitted on the anterior portion of the glove. The first conductive pad is knitted on a distal end portion of a first finger region. A second conductive pad knitted on the posterior portion of the glove. Further, the second conductive pad is knitted on a second finger region. An electronic device is removably attached to the posterior portion and is in electrical communication with the first conductive pad and the second conductive pad. The electronic device is triggered in an instance in which the first conductive pad contacts the second conductive pad.

Motion detection devices and systems are described herein. One motion detection device includes an inertial measurement unit (IMU) configured to measure velocity, orientation, and gravitational forces of the motion detection device and a computing component. The computing component can be configured to determine spectrum parameters of a mobile vehicle associated with the motion detection device using measurements from the IMU, determine IMU orientation parameters using measurements from the IMU, and estimate motion of the mobile vehicle using the spectrum parameters, the IMU orientation parameters, measurements from the IMU, and a motion estimation function.
