In a method for displaying tailored advertising in response to user media playback behavior, an ad engine detects media playback by a user. The ad engine retrieves an advertisement rule associated with the user. Following retrieval of the advertisement rule, the ad engine analyzes the content associated with the media playback and queues user tailored advertisements based on the analyzed content and the advertisement rule. The ad engine then displays an advertisement in response to detecting a pause in the media playback in a content provider-based software application.

Systems and methods for playback responsive advertisements and purchase transactions

A steering system for a towable implement includes a steering sensor, an implement steering controller, a steering control valve, a steering cylinder, and an implement steering mechanism that steers the implement. The steering sensor measures, directly or indirectly, the angular position of the steerable wheels of the implement. The implement steering controller processes feedback from the steering sensor and with a desired steering angle, outputs a steering control signal that is input to the steering control valve. The steering control valve controls the flow of hydraulic fluid to the steering cylinder, which, in turn, powers the implement steering mechanism to turn the wheels of the implement. The steering system may be operated in various control modes, such as, a transportation steering mode, a corner and 180 turn steering mode, a swath tracking steering mode, crab steering mode, and a manual steering mode, which allows manual control of the steering system.

Auto-steerable farming system

A heavy gauge agricultural implement hitch is disclosed which is offset such that the implement and the tractor are not directly in line with one another, but allows the tractor to follow the previous crop rows and the implement to be offset of the previous crop rows. This offset of the hitch allows the implement to function with more ease, especially when the implement is a planter, thus making it possible to plant soybeans, for example, more easily in a field with corn stubble.

A golf club swing teaching aid is provided having an elongated inflatable tubular sleeve adapted to be worn by the golfer to restrain bending of the golfer's leading arm during backswing. An alarm assembly which emits an audible signal is mounted on the sleeve for alerting the golfer that his or her leading alarm has been allowed to bend to an undesirable extent during backswing of the golf club. Means is provided for adjustably mounting the alarm actuating components of the alarm assembly on the sleeve so that the golfer may select the degree of bending of his or her leading arm that may take place during backswing of a golf club before the audible alarm is sounded. Selective adjustment by the golfer of the degree of adjustment of the sleeve also has an effect on the timing of the audible alarm. The audible alarm is initiated upon normal bending of the leading arm during swing follow-through thus alerting the golfer to the fact that he or she can now allow their eyes to leave the ball impact zone and focus on the ball flight path. The sleeve has a non-inflated area at the arm crease which allows substantially unimpeded arm bending at the elbow during follow-through so that the golfer is not restrained from executing a normal technique throughout the swing.

Training device for golfers

An anti-theft device which obstructs the socket and coupler lever of a gooseneck trailer hitch coupling mechanism and prevents a gooseneck trailer from being towed, made up of a receiving device and a pair of upright members each permanently affixed to a plate. The plate is dimensioned to match the footprint of the coupler. The receiving device is adapted to matingly engage with the socket. A first upright member and a second upright member are each affixed at a right angle to the plate on the same side of the plate as the receiving device and parallel to each other at a predetermined distance so that, when the receiving device is inserted into an open socket, the first upright member and second upright member extend contiguously upward on opposite sides of the coupler lever. A handle is affixed to the underside of the plate for single-handed insertion. The upright members are formed so that the upper end forms a 'U'- channel, dimensioned to snugly accept the body of a padlock. Each upright member includes an opening in registry with the other, dimensioned to accept a securing bolt. The bolt when inserted through the registered openings of upright members prevents operation of the coupler lever. The bolt includes a bore to accept the shackle of a padlock or other similar lock, which secures the securing bolt onto the upright members. The padlock is also protected from being cut by the 'U'-shaped channel.

Gooseneck trailer hitch locking device

A multi-sensor system (10) for detecting the presence of objects on the surface of the ground or buried just under the surface, such as anti-personnel or anti-tank mines or the like. A remote sensor platform (12) has a plurality of metal detector sensors (22) and a plurality of short pulse radar sensors (24). The remote sensor platform (12) is remotely controlled from a processing and control unit (14) and signals from the remote sensor platform (12) are sent to the processing and control unit (14) where they are individually evaluated in separate data analysis subprocess steps (34, 36) to obtain a probability 'score' for each of the pluralities of sensors (22, 24). These probability scores are combined in a fusion subprocess step (38) by comparing score sets to a probability table (130) which is derived based upon the historical incidence of object present conditions given that score set. A decision making rule is applied to provide an output which is optionally provided to a marker subprocess (40) for controlling a marker device (76) to mark the location of found objects.

Minefield reconnaissance and detector system

An automatic electroplating machine has a plurality of plating barrels supported by cantilever arms on an elevator-conveyor for intermittent movement along a continuous, generally horizontal path to and through a plurality of work stations. Groups of barrels are lowered into and lifted out of a series of treating tanks located at work stations and along a rectilinear portion of the conveyor path. When the barrels are in lowered positions pinions on some of the barrels are engaged with reciprocally movable rack assemblies which oscillate the barrels in unison about horizontal axes and within the associated treating tanks.

Article treating machine

A power unit having an endless belt immersed in a tank of water and disposed on upper and lower rotatable rollers in parallel alignment tightly enough to frictionally engage and rotate the pullies, there being transversely arranged and longitudinally spaced, relative to the belt, collapsible air buckets or air traps on the outwardly facing side of the belt. When operating, the belt has one part continually moving upwardly and an opposite part moving downwardly. The air buckets open downwardly and expand on the upwardly moving part of the belt; and those on the opposite downwardly moving part open upwardly in a collapsed condition. Air is pumped to a horizontally disposed discharge pipe adjacent the lower end of the belt, the pipe having openings for discharge of air into the succeeding lower open buckets to cause the buckets to be filled with air and expand the buckets so as to move buoyantly upwardly. The free edges of the buckets are provided with air chambers to aid in initial opening of the buckets to facilitate entrance of the air from the discharge pipe into the buckets. When the buckets reach the top of the apparatus, they collapse and expell the air and, as they move downwardly on the opposite downwardly moving side of the belt, they are held collapsed by the water so as to offer little resistance. The upper pulley has a driving connection with an air pump, the outlet of which is connected to the air discharge pipe at the lower end of the apparatus. The air buckets have panels fixed to the belt and movable panels hinged thereto. The fixed panels are flexible so that they will conform to the curvature of the rollers as the buckets pass over the rollers. The air-filled buckets or air traps have great buoyancy and produce sufficient force to operate the air pump, and also to operate auxiliary equipment such as, for example, an electric generator or the like for supplying power for various uses. While an outside supply of air under pressure is provided to start the apparatus operating (after which it will be self-operating) the apparatus will start operating when the apparatus is mounted in the tank and the tank is filled with water.

Power unit

Method of recovery of crude oil from oil bearing formations and/or sands especially where the oil in such formations have been partly exhausted or depleted and will flow into the wells drilled into such formations at a very slow rate or not at all due to the high degree of viscosity of the oil. The method comprises thinning the crude oil in the formation by introducing into the oil well a thinning fluid, such as a solvent or mixture of solvents that will flow into the formation and thin the oil in the formation sufficiently so that it will flow into the well. A further step is heating the solvent either before the solvent is introduced into the well or after it is in the well and pressurizing the well to increase the penetration of the solvent into the formation. One method of heating the solvent in the well is to introduce water into the well, allow the solvent to rise to the surface of the water and introduce sodium into the well to cause a reaction with the water for producing heat and pressure. Heating the solvent increases its thinning action on the crude oil.

Method for recovery of crude oil from oil wells

The projectile conical nose has a forward air intake nozzle in fluid communication with a plurality of internal passageways that terminate in outlet ports circumferentially spaced along the rearmost edge of the nose member adjacent the forwardmost external or lateral surface of the projectile main body portion.
