The present disclosure describes a telecommunications structure including a plurality of mounting members each having a length and a diameter, the plurality of mounting members includes one or more vertically-oriented mounting members that intersect with one or more horizontally-oriented mounting members to form a frame that is configured to have telecommunications equipment mounted thereto. Each of the one or more vertically-oriented mounting members or each of the one or more horizontally-oriented mounting members includes a plurality of longitudinally spaced-apart recesses configured to receive an intersecting horizontally-oriented mounting member or vertically-oriented mounting member and form a mechanical connection therebetween. A press tool for forming the recesses and methods of using the same are also described herein.

An assembly includes: a) a housing comprising a floor, a ceiling, a rear wall, a front wall, and opposed side walls that define a cavity, wherein the side walls include illuminable informational markings; an antenna; c) a radio residing in the cavity of the housing connected with the antenna; and d) a power source attached to the radio; wherein the power source is employed to illuminate the informational markings.

Aspects of the present disclosure provide systems and devices for providing power to one or more remote radio heads used in telecommunications. Some aspects provide a power supply system comprising a first power supply and a plurality of second power supplies configured to be installed in a rack shelf. Each of the plurality of second power supplies is configured to receive a first power signal from the first power supply and provide a second power signal to a respective remote radio head from a plurality of remote radio heads, and at least first inputs to each of the plurality of second power supplies may be ganged together.

Methods and equipment for reducing power loss in cellular systems

A modular electronics enclosure includes a rear frame, a first L-shaped piece and a second L-shaped piece joined to form a box-shaped shell having a floor, a ceiling, a rear wall and first and second opposed side walls that define an internal cavity. The first L-shaped piece includes a wall panel and a top panel that form the ceiling and the first side wall of the shell. The second L-shaped piece includes a wall panel and a bottom panel that form the floor and the second side wall of the shell. The rear frame forms the rear wall of the shell.

An electronics cabinet includes front, rear and side walls, wherein the rear wall includes first and second removable panels, the first and second removable panels being mounted to the rear wall with securing fasteners and further includes a security system for preventing removal of the first and second removable panels. The security system includes: an assembly that overlies a securing fastener of the first panel and a securing fastener of the second panel; and a locking device engaging the assembly, the locking device configured to move between locked and unlocked conditions, wherein in the locked condition the locking device prevents removal of the assembly from the first and second rear panels, and in the unlocked condition the locking device permits the removal of the assembly from the first and second rear panels.

A modular enclosure includes a plurality of enclosure modules, each of the enclosure modules comprising a front wall, a rear wall opposite the front wall, and two opposed side walls that span the front and rear walls; the front, rear and side walls forming an cavity; an equipment rack within the interior cavity with electronic equipment mounted thereon; and an air containment barrier that extends between the side walls to limit air flow between a front portion of the interior cavity and a rear portion of the interior cavity. At least one of the side walls of each of the enclosure modules includes a removable side panel, the side panel including first and second air flow openings, wherein the first air flow opening is forward of the air containment barrier and the second air flow opening is rearward of the air containment opening. The enclosure modules are arranged in adjacent relationship, and wherein at least one removable side panel of a first enclosure module abuts a removable side panel of a second adjacent enclosure module. The modular enclosure also includes an air cooling system mounted to the side wall of a first endmost enclosure module and an exhaust system mounted to the side wall of an opposite second endmost enclosure module.
