A composition comprising at least a part A and a part B is disclosed. The part A comprises at least one polyol and the part B comprises at least one isocyanate. At least one part further comprises at least one of the following: a strength enhancer having a softening point of from about 120&#xb0; F. to about 400&#xb0; F.; a non-reactive hydrophobic enhancer; and/or an impact absorption enhancer. These enhancers provide, among optional other benefits, enhanced pull strength. Additionally, a mass can be prepared by a method of combining part A with part B and applying the mixture to a void. The compositions may also be used in the repair of surface defects or for the reinforcement of structural members such as spike holes left after spike removal from railroad ties during road bed maintenance or repair.

Polyurethane composition containing a property-enhancing agent

The invention is directed to a low gloss powder coating composition comprising a first component (a) and a second component (b). The first component (a) comprises a mixture of (i) at least one glycidyl group-containing acrylic resin having epoxide equivalent weight of from about 250 to about 1500 and glass transition temperature of from about 30&#xb0; C. to about 80&#xb0; C.; and (ii) a curing agent. The second component (b) comprises at least one carboxyl-group containing material having acid number of from about 10 to about 300 and is not substantially compatible with the first component (a). The two components are dry-blended to obtain the powder coating composition.

Low gloss powder coating compositions

The invention provides a protective coating composition for use on substrates including steel, aluminum, iron and the like. This composition further provides abrasion resistance, electrical resistance, ultra-violet protection, corrosion resistance and heat resistance. It can be particularly useful for coating high temperature stacks, mufflers, manifolds, boilers, ovens, furnaces, steam lines, heat exchangers, barbecue equipment, cooking utensils and other parts that require such powder coating composition. This composition further provides good initial adhesion. This invention also provides a powder coating composition containing a hydroxyl-functional silicone resin, a glycidyl-functional acrylic resin and an optional flow control agent.
