A trapdoor-style drilling mud screen system, comprising a first body having a first portion, a second portion and a third portion, a first drilling mud inlet at a first end of the first portion of the first body, a first drilling mud outlet at a second end of the third portion of the first body, a rotating trapdoor subassembly, wherein the rotating trapdoor subassembly is disposed within the second portion of the first body, wherein the first portion of the first body is fluidly connected to a first end of the rotating subassembly, and wherein a second end of the rotating subassembly is fluidly connected to the third portion of the first body, a pivot subassembly, wherein the pivot subassembly is disposed through the rotating trapdoor subassembly and through the second portion of the first body; and a drilling mud screen, wherein the drilling mud screen is disposed within the rotating trapdoor subassembly between the first drilling mud inlet and the first drilling mud outlet. Methods of installing and using the drilling mud screen system are also disclosed.

A drill pipe comprises a drill pipe body and a tool joint that comprises a rotary shoulder connection is disclosed. The rotary shoulder connection comprises: a box connection, wherein the box connection has a box outer radius, a box counter bore radius and a box inner radius, and box threads having a box thread form cut along a box taper: a pin connection, wherein the pin connection has a pin outer radius, a pin cylinder radius and a pin nose radius, and pin threads having a pin thread form cut along a pin taper to align with the box threads inside the box connection; and a primary shoulder connection comprising: a primary box shoulder that is angled or curved; and a primary pin shoulder that is angled or curved. Methods of using the drill pipe are also disclosed.

A centralizer for stabilizing fluid flow through a hollow shaft has a body with an axis, an outer surface and a circumference. Fins extend from the outer surface and include a first pair of fins that are axially aligned with each other and circumferentially spaced from each other. An upper-completion single trip system is described which includes a hydraulic internal seal receptacle assemble. The HISR assembly includes an overshot assembly selectively connected to a mandrel assembly. Once fully actuated, relative axial motion therebetween is allowed, which provides a spacer apparatus for the tubing above and below the HISR assembly. A shearable anchor latch as well as an indexing mule shoe are also provided in the HISR system, which allow multiple completion steps to be performed in a single trip. The HISR system is particularly well-suited for installation of permanent downhole gauges or intelligent systems&#x2014;installations where rotation of pipe is prohibited. The system is also particularly well-suited for submersible pumps. A method of performing multiple completion activities in a single trip is also described.
