A carrier is for holding a plurality of containers. The carrier comprises a bottom panel comprising a plurality of bottom openings, and a first side panel and a second side panel. A first top panel is foldably connected to the first side panel and a second top panel is foldably connected to the second top panel. The first top panel and the second top panel form a top wall of the carrier. The first top panel comprises a first handle portion, the second top panel comprises a second handle portion. A handle is foldably connected to at least one of the side panels. The handle comprises the first handle portion and the second handle portion, is separable from the top wall, and pivotable between a lowered position and a raised position. A blank for forming a carrier and a method for forming a carrier are also generally disclosed.

Carrier for containers

A carton for cooperating with a packaging material to contain a plurality of articles and a package formed thereby. The carton comprises a plurality of panels comprising a central panel, a first side panel, and a second side panel. The side panels are positioned relative to the central panel to at least partially form a space for receiving the articles. A handle is in at least one of the side panels. The handle is adapted for grasping and carrying the carton. A reinforcement flap is foldably attached to the at least one of the side panels. The reinforcement flap has at least one opening for receiving an article. A handle reinforcement flap is foldably attached to the at least one of the side panels.

A carton has a multi-ply configuration formed by overlying a primary blank with one or more reinforcing blanks. A separable section can formed in one or more side panels of the carton to allow for removal of articles from the carton.

Carton with dispenser, display features and/or corner features

Cartons can be placed in dispensing configurations by separating the carton into carton sections. The carton sections may be connected by a hinge that allows the carton sections to stand side-by-side. The carton sections can have a dispenser section in at least one of the side panels for dispensing articles from the carton sections.

A carton includes a retaining structure that is arranged to retain articles within the carton when an end of the carton has been opened. The retaining structure includes an obstruction spaced from the opened end of the carton that abuts an article located at a dispenser opening of the carton.
