Front forks for bicycles are described herein. An example front fork includes an upper fork including a first leg and a second leg, a lower fork including a third leg disposed along the first leg and a fourth leg disposed along the second leg, a first set of links rotatably coupled between the first leg and the third leg, and a second set of links rotatably coupled between the second leg and the fourth leg. The first and second sets of links enable the lower fork to swing relative to the upper fork. The front fork also includes a steerer tube coupled to the front fork and a spring in the steerer tube. The spring is configured to bias the lower fork away from the steer tube.

Front forks for bicycles

Example bicycle disc brake rotors are described herein. An example disc brake rotor described herein includes a core having a brake surface core portion and a single-piece brake track coupled to the brake surface core portion. The brake track is constructed of stainless steel. The brake track includes a first track on a first side of the brake surface core portion, a second track on a second side of the brake surface core portion, and a connecting portion extending over a peripheral edge of the brake surface core portion between the first and second tracks.

Bicycle disc brake rotors

Example brake systems and apparatus for providing pitch control on bicycles are described herein. An example rear brake caliper described herein includes a caliper housing to be coupled to the bicycle. The caliper housing includes a first port to be fluidly coupled to a first fluid line fluidly coupled to a front brake actuator and a second port to be fluidly coupled to a second fluid line fluidly coupled to a front brake caliper. The rear brake caliper also includes a valve between the first port and the second port. The valve is operable to affect fluid flow between the first port and the second port.

Braking system for a bicycle

Responsive to a hydraulic piston advancing out of a piston housing in a second brake arm and contacting a piston cam surface of a first brake arm, the second brake arm pivots around a second pivot. As this is happening, a cam surface in the second brake arm lifts a contact surface of a first force transfer member of the first brake arm, imparting torque to the first brake arm which then pivots around a first pivot. The cam surface is shaped to impart synchronous motion to the first and second pad holders. Splitting one of the brake arms with a centering member permits a centering adjust feature.

Bicycle rim brake

A damper assembly for a bicycle wheel assembly may include a first damper configured to be disposed about a hub assembly of the bicycle wheel assembly. The first damper is configured to apply a damping force against a spoke segment of at least one spoke of a plurality of spokes of the bicycle wheel assembly. The first damper includes a first end applying the damping force against the spoke segment.

Damper assembly

A bicycle wheel assembly may include a rim, a hub assembly, a plurality of spokes and a damper assembly. The damper assembly includes a damping element configured to apply a damping force against at least one spoke of the plurality of spokes. The damping force may be applied in an axial direction of the bicycle wheel and/or to a segment of the at least one spoke near the hub assembly.

A damper assembly for a bicycle wheel assembly may include a first damper configured to be disposed about a hub assembly of the bicycle wheel assembly. The first damper is configured to apply a first damping force against a spoke segment of at least one spoke of a plurality of spokes of the bicycle wheel assembly. The spoke segment is spaced apart from a spoke attachment member.

Disc brake rotor portion

A master cylinder assembly for a hydraulic actuation system for a handlebar-steered vehicle. The master cylinder assembly generally includes a housing mountable to a frame member of the handlebar-steered vehicle and having a chamber including a fluid cavity with first and second fluid cavity regions. The first fluid cavity region is in fluid communication with the hydraulic actuation system. The housing includes discrete first and second housing portions. The first housing portion has first and second end portions. The first end portion of the first housing portion extends axially into the second fluid cavity region creating an annular gap radially outboard of the first end portion extending into the second fluid cavity region. The second end portion of the first housing portion is connected to the hydraulic actuation system. A piston assembly includes a piston slidably disposed within the fluid cavity. An actuator is operatively connected to the housing and operatively connected to the piston to slidably displace the piston between an open fluid circuit position permitting fluid flow between the first and second fluid cavity regions and a closed fluid circuit position blocking fluid flow between the first and second fluid cavity regions.

Master cylinder for a hydraulic actuation system for a handlebar-steered vehicle

A master cylinder assembly for a hydraulic actuation system for a handlebar-steered vehicle including a fluid cavity having an adjustable length. The master cylinder assembly generally includes a housing, a piston assembly, an actuator and an adjuster. The housing is mountable to a frame member and includes a chamber having a fluid cavity with first and second regions. The first region is in fluid communication with the hydraulic actuation system. The piston assembly includes a piston slidably disposed within the fluid cavity. The actuator is operatively connected to the housing and operatively connected to the piston to slidably displace the piston between an open fluid circuit position permitting fluid flow between the first and second regions and a closed fluid circuit position blocking fluid flow between the first and second regions. The adjuster is operatively connected to the housing to adjust a length of the fluid cavity.

Master cylinder assembly for a hydraulic actuation system for a handlebar-steered vehicle

A master cylinder assembly for a hydraulic actuation system for a handlebar-steered vehicle. The assembly includes a housing mountable to a frame member of the handlebar-steered vehicle and having a chamber including a fluid cavity with first and second regions. The first region is in fluid communication with the hydraulic actuation system. A piston is slidably disposed in the fluid cavity. An actuator is operatively connected to the housing and operatively connected to the piston to slidably displace the piston between an open fluid circuit position and a closed fluid circuit position. A first seal is disposed on either the piston or a wall of the fluid cavity. The first seal is configured to be in sealing engagement between the fluid cavity and the piston with the piston in the closed fluid circuit position to block fluid flow between the first and second fluid cavity regions. The first seal is configured to be in non-sealing disengagement between the fluid cavity wall and the piston with the piston in the open fluid circuit position to permit fluid flow between the first and second fluid cavity regions.
