A draw cord engagement system and method are disclosed herein. The draw cord engagement system, in an embodiment, includes a support, a cord holder moveably coupled to the support, a first engager moveably coupled to the support, and a second engager moveably coupled to the support. The draw cord engagement system is configured to enable a first repositioning of the first engager relative to the second engager, resulting in a first setting. The draw cord engagement system is also configured to enable a second repositioning of at least the second engager relative to the support while the first setting remains unchanged.

Draw cord engagement system and method for archery release devices

A portable, compact, collapsible, adjustable, archery crossbow press for high poundage crossbows which have a rifle-like frame with an elongate channel and transverse limbs with outwardly located cams or wheels connected by a bow string. The crossbow press includes two limb clamp assemblies that releasably capture the transverse limbs about the cams. A flexible connector connects the two limb clamp assembles just above the rifle-like frame. A safety hook block fits within the elongate channel rearwardly of the crossbow string and is anchored to the rifle-like frame. A mechanical cocking device pulls the flexible connector rearwardly to secure it to a hook on the anchored safety hook block.

An archery release device has, in an embodiment, a body, a base, a support, a bowstring holder and a driver. The base is pivotally coupled to the body, and the support holds or supports the bowstring holder. The bowstring holder is pivotally coupled to the support. The support is configured to be slid relative to the base in response to an action of the driver.

An archery release device has, in an embodiment, a body, neck, head and position regulator. The neck is configured to be adjusted, moved or translated along an adjustment axis. The position regulator controls or otherwise securely sets the selected position of the neck.

An archery bow draw board for an anchored compound archery bow having a riser, limbs, at least one cam with a pulley, or two cams, a bow string with a cable. The draw board is connectable to the bow string and includes a base plate supporting a gallows vertical pole and a gear box and side plate fixed therebelow. A worm drive on a shaft is mounted within the gear box and is turnable by an outwardly extending crank handle. An axel with a fixed reel and worm gear extends from the side plate into the gear housing wherein the worm gear meshes with the worm drive to drive the reel in either direction by turning the crank. The worm drive and worm gear hold the reel in place upon releasing the crank. A gallows horizontal extension is located on top of the gallows pole with a first pulley, and a second pulley in line with and spaced from the first pulley away from the gallows pole. A cord is wrapped around the reel and extending upwardly along the pole to the horizontal extension and over the pulleys and then downwardly adapted to hook onto and pull the draw string. Numeric indicia is fixed on the gallows pole and a bow draw length marker coordinated on the cord indicates draw length of bow string pulled by the draw board. A scale maybe placed between the cord and the bow string to indicate actual draw poundage as the bow string is pulled.

Archery bow string draw board

An improved archery bow press used to safely relieve tension in the bow string of a short limbed compound archery bow. Slidable brackets are retained to a horizontal beam and retain pivot arms to the beam. Brackets slidable along each of the pivot arms may be locked in place. Each pivot arm includes a bearing member which abuts a limb of a compound bow. A jack is mounted to the beam to raise and lower link members connected to the pivot arms. The link members are adjustable in length. Markings are provided on the adjustable members so that adjustments to those elements can be made based on data in a table correlating settings for specific compound bows. Safety latches lock the bow limbs to the slidable brackets. A method for presetting the press is provided.

Bow press with enhanced safety features

An improved archery bow press used to relieve tension in the bow string of a compound archery bow so that maintenance and repair of the bow string and its components may be safely and easily accomplished. A threaded rod is mounted adjacent and parallel to an elongate beam allowing brackets slidable along the beam to be positioned at differing spacings therebetween. The threaded rod is turned by a crank perpendicularly extending from the threaded rod. Limb engaging arms are hinged to the slidable brackets. Link members are pivotably retained to the limb engaging arms and the link members are retainable to a telescoping part of a screw jack which is retained to the beam. At least one of the link members includes a pin support bracket along its length. The pin support bracket supports a tapered pin extending laterally from the pin support bracket over a bow placed in the bow press. While the bow is urging the limbs around their connections to the bow riser, the bow string may be passed over the pin after which the bow press may relax the limbs and provide tension on the bow string in a position deflected laterally from the plane of the bow riser.

Archery bow press

Apparatus for use in determining the pinion angle of the differential or transmission of a motor vehicle includes an attachment which is detachably mountable to the input shaft or the output shaft. A camber gauge having longitudinal levels is detachably mounted to the attachment to measure the attitude of the differential or the transmission to which it is mounted.

Apparatus and method to determine pinion angle of drive train

Apparatus for use in aligning the differential input shaft of a race car with the transmission output shaft includes a transmission attachment and a differential attachment, each of which is detachably mountable to the race car. Each attachment includes a laser mounted centrally in a plate which is mounted substantially perpendicular to the transmission and the differential respectively. The laser mounted to the transmission emits a light beam coaxial to the transmission output shaft and the laser mounted to the differential emits a light beam coaxial to the differential input shaft. By adjusting the differential and transmission relative to each other such that the laser beams do not intersect, the differential and the transmission are aligned for optimum performance. A camber gauge may be substituted for the laser in either plate to measure the attitude of the differential or the transmission.
