A cable hanger is disclosed. The cable hanger may include a first latch configured to suspend the cable hanger from a strut and a second latch configured to suspend the cable hanger from the strut. The cable hanger may also include a cable saddle to hold one or more cables. When the cable hanger is suspended by the first latch and not the second latch, a gap may be formed between the cable saddle and the strut such that the cable saddle is configured to receive the one or more cables through the gap. When the cable hanger is suspended by the second latch, the gap may be closed between the cable saddle and the strut to secure the one or more cables.

Cable suspension assembly

A nut for a channel of a strut is disclosed. In one embodiment, the length of the nut is greater than the width of the nut. In one embodiment, the first end surface of the nut meets the first side surface at a first rounded corner, and the second end surface meets the second side surface of the nut at a second rounded corner (opposite the first rounded corner). In one embodiment, the first side surface includes a first protrusion at a third corner adjacent the first rounded corner and the second side surface includes a second protrusion at a fourth corner adjacent the second rounded corner. In one embodiment, the first rounded corner and the second rounded corner allow the nut to be rotated in a channel of a strut. In one embodiment, the third corner and the fourth corner disallow further rotation in the channel of the strut.

Strut-channel nut

A pipe clamp secures an elongate article such as a pipe to as structural channel. The pipe clamp includes a pair of elongate pipe straps each having one end for securement to the structural channel and an opposed end mutually interconnectable. The opposed end of one of the pipe straps is insertable into an aperture in the opposed end of the other pipe strap. A threaded fastener movably couples the ends to compressively secure the pipe strap to the structural channel about the article.

Scissor type pipe clamp

The present invention is directed to a self-cutting electrical outlet box. The electrical outlet box is self cutting, allowing the box to be installed through an existing building surface. The box includes teeth or cutting members to assist in self-cutting. The box also includes features to assist in placement and securement of the box to a wall.

An interlocking suspension support hanger for mounting strut members off of a vertical threaded rod includes a pair of support hanger having a rectangular support body with a pivoting pin hole and a fastening pin hole on the support body and a recess opening leading to a center thread configured to fit around the vertical threaded rod. Further, a process for utilizing the support hanger to suspend a strut rack assembly from the vertically threaded rod without passing the assembly over the ends of the rod or removing the existing strut rack is disclosed.

Trapeze hanger

A retaining device for a split bolt connector which includes: a continuous wall that defines an aperture and at least one bendable tab extending upwardly from the wall or a member extending between opposing wall sections. The wall is adapted to accommodate the nut on a split bolt connector in the aperture and the at least one tab, or the member, is adapted to engage the slot in the split bolt after the nut is connected to the split bolt.

Anti-vibration/rotation device for split bolts

A pipe clamp is used to secure an elongate article, such as a pipe, to a structural channel. The pipe clamp includes a pair of elongate clamping straps for positioning about the article. Each strap includes an attachment end for attaching to the structural channel an intermediate portion for wrapping around the article and a connection end. A threaded fastener extends through the connection ends to couple the strap around the article. Each connection end is of different length and includes a receiving aperture therethrough such that the fastener extending through the apertures extends at an oblique angle with respect to a center line passing through the article perpendicular to the structural channel.

Pipe clamp

A button fastening device for attachment within an opening in a duct base for securing elongate cables and the like as well as structural duct dividers thereto. The device includes a cup-shaped upper portion, a shaft and a locking wing. The cup-shaped upper portion has a rim for snap-on attachment of a duct divider and strap passages for attachment of a bundle strap for securing cables to the duct base. The shaft extends from the cup-shaped upper portion to the locking wing. The locking wing secures the device to the duct base.
