A garage management and monitoring system defines and manages each operational event in a parking facility. Access events, management events, equipment operation events, equipment malfunction events, security events and defined anomaly events are labeled and parsed into a relational database, which is used for generating reports, creating logs, making management decisions, reconstructing accidents, and so on. The equipment includes a computer terminal, a reader, an identifying item or code capable of being read by the reader to control access to the facility, an IP camera, and a garage door or vehicle gate with safety sensors. Each defined event can be codified on the server and/or local controller to create an event library that is downloaded to the controller. A distributed intelligent system includes: units that gather information about garage, ingresses, and egresses; units that send data to the central server; the central server parses data sent from units and inserts it into a database; the central server formats data and presents it to users; units use unique keys to relate information from several actions the unit has taken to accomplish a task.

Garage management system

An adjustable pedestal for insertion into a substantially cylindrical opening in a furniture or equipment leg. The pedestal includes a substantially cylindrical hollow insert and a foot. The insert includes a leg opening, a foot opening, and a leg portion disposed adjacent the leg opening. The leg portion has an outside diameter substantially equal to the inside diameter of the opening in the furniture or equipment leg and an inside surface into which are formed a plurality of threads. A cup portion is disposed adjacent the foot opening of the insert and has an outside diameter greater than the inside diameter of the opening in the furniture or equipment leg for preventing the insert from complete insertion within the leg. At least one retainer is formed within the insert for preventing rotation of the insert within the leg and for preventing withdrawal of the insert from the leg. The foot is substantially hollow and includes a shell end and an insert end. A threaded portion is disposed adjacent the insert end of the foot and has an outside surface into which a plurality of mating threads are formed to mate with the threads of the insert. A foot shell is disposed at the shell end of the foot and is dimensioned to mate with a foot attachment.

Adjustable pedestal

A loudspeaker system having a multiple driver array arranged in a push-pull configuration is loaded into an acoustic transmission line ported to the outside of the loudspeaker enclosure. The transmission line is preferably tapered and is filled with acoustic damping material. The combination of the push-pull driver configuration loaded into an acoustic transmission line produces a high performance, spatially enhanced sound reproduction.
