An interactive system for identifying and correcting inconsistencies between a written work, an audio reading of the written work, and a resulting transcription of the audio reading. The system stores on a computing device connected to a network a manuscript, an audio version of the manuscript, and a transcription of the audio version of the manuscript. Via a transcription engine, difference and comparison engine, and a user device having a visual interface, a user is visually presented via the display the inconsistencies between the transcript and the manuscript, the user can amend the manuscript and/or the transcript to reconcile the works, the user can listen to a corresponding section of the corresponding audio file, and the user can interact with collaborators in a context aware interface. Upon the user processing, the manuscript may be read and listened to simultaneously as an enhanced e-book through a separate software tool.

System and method for facilitating the synchronization of written works with accompanying audio

A computer implemented method of predicting a future maintenance event of a pumping equipment on a wellbore pumping unit comprising loading a pump usage log and a pump maintenance log into a predictive maintenance model. The predictive maintenance model is trained by a machine learning process with a historical database of completed pumping jobs. The predictive maintenance model determines a probability of a future maintenance event in response to the current pump usage. The unit controller displays an alert of the remaining pump life in comparison to a threshold value for a recommended pump maintenance period or a required pump maintenance period.

Predictive pump maintenance based upon utilization and operating conditions

A wellbore pumping unit comprising a main pump, a power source, a controller, and a plurality of sensors is provided. A method of performing a diagnostic check of the unit controller and the plurality of sensors when power is applied to the unit controller. A diagnostic application executing in memory writes a status of the plurality of analog inputs of a plurality of valve position sensors, a status of a plurality of frequency inputs of a plurality of flowmeters, and a plurality of calibration data files that correlate to a plurality of sensors to a diagnostic report file. The status of the sensor inputs and calibration data files can be a pass or a fail. The status of the sensor inputs can be displayed on a human machine interface.

Certain exemplary embodiments can provide a method, which comprises causing an article to be picked up and delivered via a working drone substantially without human intervention. The working drone is coupled to a support drone via a tether. The working drone is controlled via a wireless communication system that transmits signals from the support drone to the working drone. The wireless communication system constructed to communicate with a box that receives deliveries via the drone.

Systems, devices, and/or methods for managing drone tethering

A method of determining a health status of a mixing system may comprise establishing a flow loop via a pump, a flow control valve, and a flow rate sensor. The method may also include performing a diagnostic test that includes positioning the flow control valve in a first position, operating the pump to communicate a fluid via the flow loop at a first speed, measuring a first periodic dataset while the fluid is communicated via the flow loop, and recording the first periodic dataset. The method may also include comparing a result of the diagnostic test to an operational indicator set, determining the health status based upon the comparison of the result of the diagnostic test and the operational indicator set, and outputting, by the unit controller, indicia of the health status of the mixing system via the input output device.

Automated mix water test

A method of controlling a continuous multi-component slurrying process at an oil or gas well comprises continuously flowing substances for creating a slurry in response to a slurry flow rate factor and continuously flowing another substance for the slurry in response to a flow rate of at least a predetermined one of the other substances or the slurry itself. The method can include density control, slurry (tub) level control, and a combination of such controls. The method can operate in either closed loop or open loop manner, and control can be effected with either of two types of control signals depending on whether the controlled device is an integrating or non-integrating type. The method can also provide for bumpless transition between manual and automatic control.

Control method for a multi-component slurrying process

A method of controlling an apparatus with a control signal responsive to a feedback signal comprises: detecting when a feedback signal is not being received; determining whether a control signal is being provided; and adjusting the control to the apparatus depending on whether the control signal is being provided. An apparatus for performing this method comprises a programmed computer and a control signal feedback circuit for providing to the programmed computer a signal indicating whether a valid control signal is being provided.

Method and apparatus for controlling a device

A method and system provide automated, preferably electronic, monitoring and control of equipment used to pump and vaporize liquid nitrogen at an oil or gas well. The method comprises: pumping liquid nitrogen at the well; vaporizing pumped liquid nitrogen at the well; flowing vaporized nitrogen at the well; sensing temperature of the flowing vaporized nitrogen; sensing pressure of the flowing vaporized nitrogen; and automatically stopping the pumping of liquid nitrogen at the well when the sensed temperature is outside a predetermined temperature range or when the sensed pressure is outside a predetermined pressure range. A pre-stoppage warning can also be provided, and data about the vaporized nitrogen can be generated, displayed locally and transmitted remotely. A related system is also disclosed.
