A system and/or computer program product retrieves a nested resource of software modules. A client computer identifies software modules that are required by a primary software module. The dependent and primary software modules are consolidated at a client computer into an aggregated software module, which is an exemplary nested resource. A request for the aggregated software module is transmitted to a module server from a client-side module loader, which is incapable of identifying a name of received software modules from the module server, and where the module server is blocked from returning additional software modules in response to a request for a particular module. The client-side module loader in the client computer then receives the requested aggregated software module without any identification and utilizes asynchronous module definition (AMD) specification commands to generate the aggregated software module.

Client-side aggregation of nested resource dependencies

A computer-implemented method, system, and/or computer program product retrieves a nested resource. A client computer identifies software modules that are required by a primary software module. The dependent and primary software modules are consolidated at a client computer into an aggregated software module, which is a nested resource. A request for the aggregated software module is transmitted to a module server from a client-side module loader, which is incapable of identifying a name of received software modules from the module server. The client-side module loader in the client computer then receives the requested aggregated software module without any identification.

Under the present invention, when a request for a web page is received from a client on a server, the web page is built and analyzed for cacheability. If the web page is cacheable, an entity tag is generated. The entity tag generally identifies the various sources of dynamic content in the web page, and includes cacheability flags and time values associated with the dependencies. The entity tag is sent to the client with the web page where it is stored in local cache memory. If a subsequent request for the same web page is issued from the client, the request is accompanied with the entity tag (e.g., in a header). The entity tag is decoded and analyzed by the server to determine whether the cached web page is still valid.

System and program product for validating remotely cached dynamic content web pages

Under the present invention, when a request for a web page is received from a client on a server, the web page is built and analyzed for cacheablity. Method for validating remotely cached dynamic content web pages

A caching system and method are disclosed that allow for the caching of web pages that have dynamic content. The caching system and method utilize a cacheability analyzer that analyzes responses based on time, content, user identification, and macro hierarchy. The caching system only caches those responses having dynamic content that are deemed cacheable. Further, the automatic caching system can be overridden by the information author, the page creator or the system designer.

Cache override control in an apparatus for caching dynamic content

A caching system and method are disclosed that allow for the caching of web pages that have dynamic content. The caching system and method utilize a cacheability analyzer that analyzes responses based on time, content, user identification, and macro hierarchy. The caching system only caches those responses having dynamic content that are deemed cacheable. The method for caching dynamic content includes identifying parts of a response to a request for dynamic content from a requestor and attributes associated with the parts. The attributes are examined to determine cacheability of the response. A cacheability is made based on the determination and the response may be cached based upon that cacheability determination.

Method and system for automatically caching dynamic content based on a cacheability determination

A multi-compartmented storage and dispensing container is disclosed. In the preferred embodiment, the larger outer bottle surrounds and is attached to an inner compartment or chamber that, in the preferred embodiment, is a generally cylindrical enclosure having helically oriented scores or striations. This cylindrical inner enclosure is attached at its base to the outer bottle and is engaged and broken open by the closure assembly. The closure assembly consists of a threaded cap attached to an inner enclosure engagement arm. A removable security ring is initially located between the bottom of the threaded cap and the outer bottle shoulder. After this ring is removed, the user tightens the cap all the way down, bringing the inner enclosure engagement arm into contact with anchored cylindrical inner enclosure. As the cap is twisted, the inner enclosure breaks along the scored lines due to the torque, and the material contained within the inner enclosure is released into the outer bottle. The user may then shake or otherwise agitate the outer bottle to mix the different materials together.

Multi-compartmented mixing dispenser

A dispensing container which stores two or more separated fluids and blends the fluids when dispensing. The container includes a storage bottle for containing the first fluid and an interior auxiliary vessel for containing a second fluid. The auxiliary vessel is configured as a closure closing the open storage area of the storage bottle by threading thereto, and forms a mixing chamber above the storage bottle and auxiliary vessel. The mixing chamber has first check valves preventing backflow into the storage area of the bottle and second check valves preventing backflow into the auxiliary vessel. Preferably, the check valves are flaccid membrane valves. Optionally, agitating balls are provided in the mixing chamber. In another option, squeeze resistant compression members are placed inside the storage bottle to transfer pressure from squeezing to the interior auxiliary vessel. In still another option, dispensing container has at least one and optionally several recharging vessels. The storage bottle and interior auxiliary vessel have alignable ports enabling the latter to be recharged by a recharging vessel, which has a nozzle which penetrates the aligned ports.

Squeezable mixing and dispensing container having removable attachable supply vessels

To be used to checkout a plurality of items to be purchased, a purchase checkout station including a product scanner utilized to scan a bar code of the item to be purchased and obtain store and purchase information relative to the item to be purchased, a data transmission connector structured to receive the purchase and pricing information regarding the items to be purchased from the product scanner for transmittal to the purchase checkout station for totalling and storage. The purchase checkout station including a loading platform whereon each item to be purchased is individually placed and verified as an item which has been scanned and whose pricing and purchase information has been transmitted to the checkout station, whereafter the loading platform is moved to an open position enabling the verified item to be purchased atop the loading platform, only if it has been properly scanned, to be placed into an automatically positioned and opened bag which receives a predetermined quantity of the items to be purchased therein and is sealed for secured removal by the consumer subsequent to payment.

Purchase checkout station

A purchase item security and information tag apparatus for attachment to a purchase item in a store includes a tag body, a purchase item information display mechanism for retaining item data in machine readable form, and a tag engagement security mechanism including an elongate item engaging member which spoils the item with dye if cut away from the item by a customer. The tag engagement security mechanism preferably includes a tubular item engaging member containing a dye, so that the dye escapes and spoils the purchase item if cut by a customer without prior deactivation of the tag engagement security mechanism. The dye is preferably contained at a pressure greater than atmospheric to cause the dye to spatter and spray onto the purchase item. An alternative purchase item security and information tag apparatus for attachment to a purchase item in a store includes a tag body, a purchase item information display mechanism for retaining item data in machine readable form, a tag engagement security mechanism including an elongate item engaging member which sounds an alarm if cut away from the item by a customer, where the tag engagement security mechanism includes an electrically conductive item engaging member configured as a loop for extending through part of a purchase item forming part of an electric circuit including an alarm mechanism and a power source, so that opening the circuit prior to deactivation sounds the alarm mechanism.

Universal merchandise tag

A customer checkout apparatus for recording the prices of purchase items where the purchase items each have an item information display mechanism for storing purchase item data including purchase item price in machine readable form includes an item check-out vessel for receiving each of the purchase items, and for checking each purchase item, the vessel including a vessel wall and an item receiving door for opening to admit a given purchase item into the vessel and for closing to secure the item against tampering during item check-out, a purchase item display mechanism scanning device for reading item data from the information display mechanism on each item upon closing of the item receiving door, and a microprocessor for receiving and processing and storing data scanned by the display mechanism scanning device. A method of using the apparatus is also provided, and includes the steps of placing the purchase item and the attached information display mechanism into the check-out vessel, closing the item receiving door, scanning the information display mechanism, and releasing the item from the vessel.

Check-out and bagging station and method

An apparatus for pricing and bagging purchase items which are marked with bar codes includes a hub rotatably mounted on a hub mounting structure, a transparent and substantially horizontal upper table positioned over the lower table and rotatably mounted on the hub, the upper table having a circular array of purchase item delivery ports opening through the upper table, a transparent tray removably covering the purchase item delivery ports for receiving and retaining one the purchase item, a motor for rotating the upper table on the hub, a bar code scanner positioned beneath the upper table and directed upward, a plurality of bags individually designated for specific types of purchase items and positioned below one of the delivery ports for selectively receiving the purchase item, a tray tilting mechanism for tilting the tray to drop the purchase item from the tray through the port beneath the tray into one of the bags, a microprocessor for controlling the operation of the motor to rotate the upper table to pass the purchase item over the scanner to read the price and classification of the purchase item, and then for operating the motor to rotate the purchase item to a position directly above one of the bags designated for receiving purchase items of the classification of the purchase item, and for causing the tray tilting mechanism to drop the purchase item off the tray and through the port beneath the tray, into the particular bag, and for replacing the tray, and the method of using the apparatus.

Purchase item checkout station and method

An automatic bulk self-checkout apparatus includes several purchase items, each item being marked with a bar code containing item price information, a purchase item holder for retaining purchase items as they are gathered and transported to a checkout area of a store, a bar code scanner assembly for reading the bar codes while the items are inside the item holder and for sending information contained in the bar codes as signals, a bar code processing assembly for receiving and converting the signals into numerical price data and for totalling prices of the items within the item holder. The apparatus preferably includes a tunnel structure having an entry port, an exit port, a top wall and two opposing side walls and a floor, and sized to receive through the ports the item holder, where the scanner assembly is located within the tunnel structure and oriented to scan the bar codes on the items within the item holder. The apparatus also preferably includes a conveyor belt for automatically transporting the item holder through the tunnel structure from the entry port to the exit port. The apparatus may additionally include a first sensor assembly for sensing an item holder placed at the entry port and activating the conveyor belt for a prescribed time duration. A method of checking out purchase items includes the steps of placing the items into the purchase item holder, reading the bar codes with the scanner assembly while the items remain in the holder, and totaling prices indicated in the bar codes.
