A tilt tower and pipe auger anchor assembly comprising a tilt tower having a mast and a swing tube and a coax cable engaging both the mast and the swing tube, the mast has a near end, the near end has a mast flange plate with fastener holes therethrough. A pipe auger anchor has walls defining a generally hollow elongated body having a near end and a removed end, the near end including a pipe auger anchor flange plate mateable with the mast flange plate. The pipe auger anchor flange plate has fastener openings therein and fixedly attached to the near end perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the hollow elongated body and an auger at the removed end. The auger provides a penetration force when the body is rotated and the auger is engaged with the ground.

Tilt tower and pipe auger anchor assembly

A tower assembly having a tower, the tower assembly for maintaining the tower in a vertically upright position wherein the tower nor any part of the tower assembly penetrates the ground on which the tower is disposed. The tower of the tower assembly has a near end and a removed end, the near end being attached to a tray having a flat floor and upstanding vertical perimeter side walls. A mounting assembly mounts the tower to the tray. A ballast, typically comprising multiple small stones, is provided for laying on top of the flat floor of the tray, so as to provide sufficient weight to prevent the tower from tipping over.

Foundationless tower assembly

An antenna tower is provided having one or more antennae at the removed end thereof, which tower is configured for ease of maintenance of the antenna by a serviceman standing on the ground and servicing the antenna. Applicants' antenna tower includes a fixed vertical base or mast tube, fixed to the ground and having a removed end. At or near the removed end of the base tube, a swing tube is pivotally attached. The swing tube has a first end removably coupled to a near end of the base tube, and a removed end extending beyond the removed end of the base tube. Attached to the removed end of the swing tube is a pivotally mounted configured member or pivot tube. The pivotally mounted elongated member receives an antenna thereupon. The pivot tube is removably coupled to the swing tube to allow the pivot tube to rotate.

An improved culture vessel or bioreactor for growing cells, cellular aggregates, tissue particles or tissue &ldquo;organoids&rdquo; and methods for using same which includes a housing having at least one chamber defined by a curved wall symmetrical about an axis. The perfused version of the vessel has at least one inlet and at least one outlet and at least one filter in fluid communication with at least one of the inlets or outlets structured to pass culture media but retain cells, cellular aggregates or tissues within the culture chamber. The batch culture version of the vessel has at least part of the vessel wall made of a gas permeable material. The vessel housing is rotated about the horizontal or proximate horizontal axis to suspend the cells, in an unobstructed, three-dimensional or toroidal flow. The chamber has a substantially ellipsoid, oblate ellipsoid, spherical or oblate spherical shape and an unobstructed volume for growth of cells, cellular aggregates or tissues. The perfused version of the invention has a pump in fluid communication with an inlet or outlet to maintain a flow of oxygen and nutrient rich culture media through the vessel to sustain respiration and metabolism. A gas exchange device is used to maintain desired concentration of gases. Operational modes include either continuous perfusion flow or a batch culture. Methods are disclosed to produce biological products, cells and tissues and to filter waste materials and toxins from fluids (such as a liver assist device).

A watercraft docking system for receiving watercraft along side of a dock. The watercraft docking system having a first and a second support member which are coupled to an elongated roller to allow the elongated roller to rotate on the longitudinal axis. The watercraft docking system is mounted on a dock, where the dock has a support structure and a dock platform having a walking surface. The first and second support members are secured to the support structure to hold the elongated roller at a predetermined distance from the dock.

A bioreactor system for culturing cells, cellular aggregates, tissues and organoids and methods of using same includes a cylindrical reactor vessel having an unobstructed longitudinal axis that is rotated about that horizontal axis to suspend cells and/or tissue in a culture medium. Filters are used within the vessel to retain the cells and/or tissues within the culture chamber and may be also used to subdivide the culture chamber. A pump maintains a flow of oxygen rich culture medium through the vessel to sustain cell respiration. A gas exchange device maintains desired gas concentrations in the medium and the entire system is operated within an enlarged incubator to maintain appropriate temperatures. Access ports on the vessel are used to introduce various materials into the culture chamber and to remove bubbles that may form in the medium. Sensors and a microprocessor unit monitor operational conditions and direct adjustments to maintain desired conditions. Several methods of operating the bioreactor system are also disclosed wherein the vessel is used to culture cells, to grow three dimensional cellular aggregates and tissues, to filter waste materials and toxins from fluids, to commercially produce various biological materials from cells and/or tissue, and as a diagnostic or research tool.

The animal lift frame provides a mechanically adjustable support structure for restraint and skeletal support of an animal undergoing veterinary care. The lift frame includes a generally rectangular frame portion with front and rear beam members connected by a center beam, and right and left side rail members. The center beam carries a slidable counter balance/lifting eye member attachable to a center chain for lifting of the entire apparatus by a common hoist means. A series of adjustable length stabilizer straps extend from a point on this center chain to a fixed or adjustable lifting eye on each of the front and rear beam and right and left rail members. A harness or sling for supporting the underside of the animal is removably secured to the right and left rails.
