A sensor bearing unit includes a bearing having a first ring and a second ring, and an impulse ring provided with a target holder, with a target mounted on the target holder, and with a sleeve secured to the first ring. The target holder having a mounting portion secured to the first ring of the bearing. The target holder has at least anti-rotation feature axially spaced apart from a free end of the mounting portion and cooperating with a complementary anti-rotation feature of the first ring so as to prevent angular movement of the impulse ring relative to the first ring. The anti-rotation feature of the target holder extends into the complementary anti-rotation feature of the first ring.

Sensor bearing unit

A sensor bearing unit includes a bearing having a first ring and a second ring, and an impulse ring provided with a target holder, with a target mounted on the target holder, and with a sleeve secured to the first ring, the target holder being axially mounted between a lateral face of the first ring and the sleeve. The first ring having at least one anti-rotation feature cooperating with at least one complementary anti-rotation feature formed on the impulse ring so as to prevent angular movement of the impulse ring relative to the first ring.

Sensor bearing unit and associated manufacturing method

A suspension thrust bearing device for use with a suspension spring in an automotive suspension strut of a vehicle includes a bearing having an upper annular bearing member and a lower annular bearing member configured for relative rotation. The lower annular bearing member has a radial surface and a resilient damper overmolded to the radial surface, which damper has a lower support surface configured to axially support an end coil of the suspension spring. The lower support surface has at least one high portion and at least one low portion that form a waveform, such as a square wave or a sinusoidal wave, in a peripheral direction.

A cam follower roller device including a tappet body extending along a longitudinal axis and defining a tappet bore, a pin centered on a transverse axis, through holes having mounting ends for supporting the pin on the tappet body, and a roller rotatably mounted on the pin around the transverse axis, the roller having a cylindrical outer surface, a central cylindrical bore and two frontal end faces. Transverse gaps are provided between frontal end faces of the roller and the tappet bore, and the central cylindrical bore of the roller is mounted around an annular rolling surface of transverse convex profile.

Self-aligning cam follower roller device

A turbocharger having a rotatable shaft, a stationary housing, a turbine wheel mounted on one end of shaft, a compressor wheel mounted onto an opposite end of shaft, and at least one rolling bearing disposed between the shaft and the housing. The rolling bearing includes a stationary outer ring fixed to the housing, a rotatable inner ring fixed to the shaft, at least one row of balls disposed in a rolling chamber defined between the outer ring and inner ring, and an annular non-deformable cage providing circumferentially a plurality of through holes forming pockets where the balls are housed. The pockets being axially delimited between annular cage heels. Each pocket of cage is extended by a slot through one of cage heels, the cage heel provided with the slots being axially oriented towards the interior side of turbocharger.

Turbocharger, notably for a combustion engine

A bearing cage for rolling element bearings, that is annular and centered on a central axis. The bearing cage provides a plurality of circumferentially adjacent pockets dedicated to receive each a rolling element. The bearing cage being split in the circumferential direction along a line of separation to define a first side and a second side that are circumferentially separated from each other. The first side and second side having fixing means to fix the first side and second side to each other such that the bearing cage can have different diameters.

A cam follower roller device having a tappet extending along a longitudinal axis and including a cylindrical tappet body defining a bore. The device further having a rolling assembly arranged within the bore, and including a support body with a base and flanges, a pin and a roller. Each of the flanges of the support body is provided with an outwardly protruding portion that extends transversally from the flange towards the tappet body. The tappet body includes a support diametrically opposed and having each a transverse surface that cooperates with the protruding portion of the support body to longitudinally block the support body.

Cam follower roller device

The cam follower roller device provides a tappet body, a pin and a roller mounted on the pin. The tappet body provides holes for mounting pin ends of the pin on the tappet body. The device further provides one deformable ring disposed between each pin end of the pin and an inner wall of the associated hole of the tappet body.

A mechanical system, comprising a support element, a pin extending along a first axis and comprising two opposite ends, each adapted to be fitted in the support element for radial retention of the pin relative to the first axis, and a roller element movable in rotation relative to the pin around the first axis. The mechanical system includes two ribs resting on either side of the ends for axial retention of the pin along the first axis. The mechanical system can be integrated into either an injection pump or a valve actuator.

Mechanical system, injection pump and valve actuator comprising such a mechanical system and manufacturing method

A mechanical system, comprising a tappet including a body, a support element defining two bores centered on a first axis, a pin comprising two opposite ends each adapted to be fitted in one of the two bores, and a roller element positioned between the two bores along the first axis and movable in rotation relative to the pin around the first axis. The support element is distinct from the body and fixed thereto, and the support element also comprises at least one antirotation device integrally formed thereto. The mechanical system can be integrated into an injection pump and/or a valve actuator.

A mechanical system comprising: a tappet, including a body; an insert mounted in the body; a pin extending along a first axis; and a roller element movable in rotation relative to the pin around the first axis. The insert supports the pin, while the body supports the insert, along at least one first direction parallel to a second axis which is perpendicular to the first axis. The mechanical system can be integrated into an injection pump and/or a valve actuator.

A transmission element according to the invention for an actuating system integrated into an internal combustion engine provides a cam follower including a roller articulated on a shaft mounted on a piston suitable for sliding in a bore formed in a body of the transmission element is provided. The shaft having a body extending around a longitudinal axis, and includes at least one sacrificial tip attached on one of the ends of the body of the shaft. The sacrificial tip is made from a material having a hardness below the hardness of the material of the body defining the bore.

Transmission element

A torque transmission mechanism for an internal combustion engine, adapted to transmit a starting torque from a starter motor to a crankshaft of the internal combustion engine. A ring gear of the mechanism transmits the starting torque, and a one-way clutch (including an inner ring and an outer ring) disposed between the ring gear and the crankshaft. The ring gear comprises lubrication holes allowing lubricant to transfer from the internal combustion engine towards the one-way clutch. The torque transmission mechanism comprising at least one sealing element adapted to prevent lubricant from passing between an outer surface of the one-way clutch outer ring and a ring gear inner surface. The one-way clutch outer ring comprises a chamfered surface inclined with respect to a central axis of the mechanism and diverging respective to the central axis of the mechanism from the lubrication holes of the ring gear towards the sealing element.

Torque transmission mechanism

A rotation transmission device with a built-in one-way clutch having an inside rotational member, an outside rotational member disposed concentrically with the inside rotational member is proposed. The device includes a one-way clutch that is radially disposed in an annular space defined between the inside rotational member and the outside rotational member, and at least one bearing disposed in the said annular space. The outside rotational member is made in a plastic material and is overmolded onto at least one stiffening insert.

Cam follower roller device, notably for an internal combustion engine fuel injection pump, comprising a tappet () and a roller () mounted to rotate on the tappet and intended to press against a cam. The tappet () comprises a roller support body (), a shaft () for mounting the roller on the said body, and a guide sleeve () attached to the support body and at least partially surrounding the said body. The ends of the shaft are fixed in through-holes in the support body.
