A stock assembly for use with a firearm includes a stock assembly body having a forward end, an opposing rear end, and a bottom portion defined between the forward end and rear end. A locking mechanism may be disposed on the stock assembly body. A rear butt member may be adjustably positionable on the rear end of the stock assembly body and include a housing defining an end surface forming a base region and a protruding region extending from the base region. The rear butt member may be adjustably positionable relative to the stock assembly body to position the rear butt member base region on a surface extending forward of a user and the protruding region proximate the user for operation of the firearm by the user.

Multi-adjustable firearm stock

A multi-functional article easily attachable to and adjustable along a strap, without having to either disassemble or modify the strap in any fashion. The attachment article includes a base configured with an interior cutout profile defining a pair of inwardly projecting tabs with contoured opposing edges configured to receive a strap in manipulated engaging fashion in order to mount the article to the strap. An integrally defined end portion extends from an edge of the base, typically in a reverse angled fashion, and defines a catch operable in multiple variants to either prevent abrading of a rifle sling, backpack strap, or the like as well as being operable in a further variant to provide a vertical load supporting article.

A releasable fastener assembly which includes a first panel carrying an area of a first engagement material; and a second panel carrying an area of a second engagement material. The first and second engagement materials are releasably securable to one another. A portion of a perimeter of the area of the second engagement material defines a recess which extends in a direction nonparallel to an edge of the second panel and into the area of the second engagement material. The recess is accessible from the edge of the second panel. Further included is a method for using the releasable fastener assembly.

Closure assembly incorporating an easy access tab integrated into hook and loop fastener elements and method for forming the same

An easy access tab integrated into a hook closure forming a portion of overlapping hook and loop engaging surfaces of an adjustable garment. An edge extending tab is reverse folded over and against a forward and central most subset area of the hook surface and is subsequently sonically heat bonded to create a crushed or otherwise smoothed subset surface area maintaining a low profile and without any significant weight addition. The crushed area enables a user to insert one or more digits between the opposing hook and loop configured surfaces of the closure elements to facilitate easier opening and without damaging the closure elements. A corresponding method is also disclosed for sonically heat bonding the reverse, folded tab applied against the hook surface utilizing the above structure.

A peristaltic diaphragm pump comprises a drive shaft, two nutating members having inner surfaces and a flexible tubular member wound at least 360.degree. around the axis of rotation defined by the drive shaft such that the nutating members nutate to peristaltically compress the tubular member between the inner surfaces and to provide a continuous linear sealing as the drive shaft is rotated. Each of the inner surfaces is shaped like a truncated cone with the slope in the radial direction linearly changing around its axis and a shaft therethrough is affixed obliquely so as to wobble with respect to the drive shaft.

Peristaltic diaphragm pump with conically shaped nutating members

A nutating disc type fluid device in which in one embodiment nutating elements are mounting within a single chamber of a housing on a common shaft in a manner which is dynamically and pressure balanced. A divider plate is fitted through slots formed on one side of each nutating element so that relative rotation between the shaft and housing creates successive expanding and contracting volumes to draw fluid into the chamber through inlet ports and to exhaust fluid through outlet ports. The ports are sized and shaped to provide maximum and constant fluid flow. In another embodiment the nutating disc element is formed of an elastomeric material which permits unimpeded passage of solid objects that may be entrained in the fluid.
