A stator comprises a core, a plurality of wire coils, an end turn phase insulator, and at least one lead wire. The wire coils are wound through the slots of the stator and form end turns as they wind from slot to slot. The end turn phase insulator comprises an end turn separating portion and a lead wire restraining tab. The end turn separating portion is sandwiched radially between an inner end turn and an outer end turn. The lead wire restraining tab extends from the end turn separating portion and is partially wrapped over the outer end turn in a manner sandwiching the lead wire between the lead wire restraining tab and the outer end turn. This prevents the lead wire from migrating into the core of the stator.

A network based computer implemented system for designing products is disclosed. The system comprises a network server, such as an Internet web server () operable to manage interaction of the system with external computers, and a product design module () communicating with the network server. The product design module () is operable to generate product designs. The system further comprises a live agent support system () communicating with the network server. The live agent support system () is operable to provide live assistance to a customer of the system. An agent () of the live agent support system () and a customer of the system simultaneously view a same page of the design tool. The customer and agent () also mutually communicate while collaboratively manipulating the page.

An electric terminal connector block is provided with oblong tool openings that communicate with interior channels of the connector block and with openings in the motor wiring electric terminals positioned in each channel of the connector block. The oblong shapes of the tool openings enable insertion of tool pins through the tool openings and openings of the electric terminals and movement of the tool pins along the lengths of the oblong tool openings whereby the tool pins engage with the electric terminals and move the terminals relative to the connector block to insure that the terminals are locked in place in the connector block. In addition, the tooling used with the connector block is operated according to a method that insures that the terminals of the motor winding are moved to a position relative to the connector block where the terminals are locked in place. The tooling also provides conductor bars of a surge testing device that are connected to the electric terminals of the connector block as the terminals are properly positioned in the connector block.
