An antenna is disclosed. The antenna can include an aerodynamic surface and an antenna component comprising a structure configured to extend from the aerodynamic surface. The structure and at least a portion of the aerodynamic surface can form an antenna, such as a half double-ridge horn antenna or a half Vivaldi antenna. In one aspect, the structure can be configured to support a pod, thus integrating the antenna with a mechanical mounting structure for the pod.

Integrated antenna and antenna component

A feed-forward cancellation system includes a transmitting element and a receiving element. The transmitting element is in electrical communication with a transmitting line. The transmitting element is configured output a transmission signal to the transmitting line. The receiving element is in electrical communication with a receiving line. The receiving element is configured to process a response signal that is generated in response to the transmission signal and that is delivered to the receiving line. At least one antenna is configured to transmit the transmission signal, receive the response signal generated based on the transmission signal, and deliver the response signal to the receiving line. The feed-forward cancellation system further includes an electronic cancellation unit configured to generate a cancellation signal based on the transmission signal. The cancellation signal eliminates saturation from at least one of the response signal and the receiving line.

Feed-forward canceller

A wideband radio frequency (RF) interference cancellation system includes an electronic channel canceller configured to split an electronic reference signal output from an electronic transmitting element into a plurality of band signals. At least one electronic band pass filter is configured to receive a respective band signal delivered to a respective channel. The wideband RF interference cancellation system further includes at least one electronic tunable cancellation element configured to tune the respective channel such that reflections are canceled before being input to receiving element.

Wideband active radio frequency interference cancellation system

A miniature interrogator antenna assembly including: a housing; a first miniature horn antenna in the housing having a first aperture; a second miniature horn antenna in the housing having a second aperture. The first and second miniature horn antennas are arranged in a canted configuration and are joint at a front of the assembly to form combined apertures at the front of the assembly. The antenna assembly further includes: a splitter/combiner having a matching portion, where the matching portion is positioned in the housing in such a way that an apex of the matching portion points to the front of the assembly; a plurality of annular grooves formed around the combined apertures at the front of the assembly; a sum input port coupled to a first waveguide with an H-plane bend feeding the splitter/combiner; and a difference input port coupled to a second waveguide feeding the splitter/combiner directly.

Miniature horn interrogator antenna with internal sum/difference combiner

An antenna system comprising a first antenna corresponding to a horn antenna, a second antenna corresponding to a horn antenna disposed such that the E-plane of the second antenna is co-planar with the E-plane of the first antenna an such that an aperture of the first antenna and an aperture of the second antenna are substantially in a common plane; and a third antenna corresponding to a horn antenna disposed such that the E-plane of the third antenna is substantially co-planar with the E-plane of the first antenna and such that an aperture of said third antenna is substantially in the same plane as the aperture of the first and second antennas and wherein the second and third antennas are canted toward each other.
